About Activity
If you've ever dreamed of getting up close to the majestic glacial ice and feeling its immensity firsthand, this is the adventure you've been waiting for. The Blue Safari is designed for those who, in addition to sailing past the Perito Moreno Glacier, dream of getting up close to the glacial ice!
We'll walk for 30 minutes, keeping an eye on the glacier's south face in case we're surprised by a thunderous calving event. Once beside the ice, it will be time for an unforgettable experience… We'll be able to fully appreciate its intense and varied colors, and its whimsical shapes.
We'll have plenty of time to take photos, and then we'll return to the boarding point, always accompanied by an experienced guide. The total hike is approximately an hour and a half over natural terrain of sand and stones, with some slopes and stairs.
Finally, we'll board the boat to appreciate the entire southern face of the glacier from the water, allowing us to see every detail of the marbled ice wall

A very beautiful place with stunning views and walks. It is a must visit place. The boat trip up to the glaciers for the view and the sound of the ice, and Condors flying above the Andes

Mar 13, 2026, 12:55:24 PM at Los Glaciares National Park (park covers a 2,807 square mile area).
They tell us today was a perfect day to visit the glacier as there was no wind, the sky was overcast thus eliminating the glare off the ice on sunny days. Nacho noted some days there is no calving of ice off the face of the glacier, but today there was relatively quite a bit.
The closest we approached the face of the calving glacier was about ½ mile.
• Los Glaciares is the second-largest national park in Argentina and comprises more than 1,700 square miles and nearly 50 large glaciers.
• Glasier National Park in the US humbles in comparison
Surrounding the glacier viewing are steel walking platforms with wood railings, that allowed us to reach various angles to view the glacier. The openings in the walkway are large, so walking sticks are not recommended.
Memorable glacier TrekP4737GVdavids
Really unbelievable experience getting to trek on the glacier for an hour, which ended with a scotch and some chocolate on the mountain. Our guides made sure we were safe, and they were informative every step of the way. Literally a cool experience.
A lot of excitement.RobertoBarreiro
The Los Glaciares National Park, with its splendid Perito Moreno glacier, in El Calafate, is one of the most beautiful and emblematic landscapes I have ever visited. It's a lot of emotion.
