Very well organized trip! Everybody had fun. Thank you! Only one thing I’d suggest to include the entry fee into the national park. Buying it online by yourself, you need to understand Spanish.

It was a spectacular day with the mini trekking adventure. Although expensive, totally worth it. Don’t hesitate or wait to book till you get to El Calafate, because it will be sold out. I loved the entire day. You get to explore the glacier from a distance, by boat and on ice. Our guide to the glacier was wonderful, speaking Spanish and English. We learned a lot from him. Once arriving by boat to the glacier, we were split into English and Spanish speaking grounps. Our ice trekking guide Arrua Emanuel, was excellent. He shared so much knowledge about the glacier with us. He was fun to be around and always offered to take photos, knowing the best photo spots. He made the adventure extra special.
I really recommend this tour. You have an amazing experience than just looking at Graciar from distance. Only one thing that was a bit annoyed was buying tickets. It was bad internet and couldn’t use credit card so suggest you to buy in advance
This is an incredible experience worth every single penny. The staff treated us wonderfully. The experience was safe and you never felt rushed. There are many places in the world that you can hike, an experience glacier with whiskey lol.
The tour was amazing, I totally recommend it. We started with the boat ride which was amazing, great views and they take their time so you can enjoy. The trek was great and you will see a lot of great scenery and at the end drink whiskey with ice from the glacier. Amazing scenery and lots to see.
It was a very enjoyable tour of adding new experience to life. The guides are very informative & explained all the details related to ice. It is such a beautiful scenery for the eyes on what the mother nature has provided to us. Highly recommend to join this tour for a memorable experience.
The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. Their primary concerns for safety and of the guests and our enjoyment went above and beyond our expectations. Leo and Sebastián were amazing.
Trekking on the glacier is an other-worldly experience. Our guide Joaquin was just wonderful in every way. He brought such joy to the experience. You will remember those moments. Do it!
All three guides were great, very personable. It was well-organized. Walking on the glacier was a special experience, obviously!
The trip was booked and paid for then the day before we were messaged to say they hadn’t got space from the x actual tour provider. By this time no availability for the rest of our stay in the area. Rubbish!!
Patagonia dream is very well organized and ponctuel, I suggest people book directly from Patagonia dream, not through other company, I booked with other company, they rarely reply me and don’t answer my questions, finally this other company took Patagonia dream, when I write to Patagonia dream, they responded my question right away . And the mini trekking is fantastic!
We booked and paid 800 euros. Confirmed and paid the website said. They sent us an email where to pick us up and we replied within 30 min. Suddenly an email came at the end of the day that for 1 of us an overbooking was and that he had to go the day after. Since we were only were there for 1 day we explained that that was no option! At 7.00 the next day nobody came to pick us up. Several attempts were made to contact the Buenos Aires office and viator itself. No booking was Visible at hielo y adventure which organised the tour for viator, who were extremely helpfull. Viator left us down and they sent an email at 9.00, 2 hours after pickup that the tour was overbooked and no space for us! WHAT A SHAMEFULL EXPERIENCE AND NEVER AGAIN THE UNTRUSTWORTHY VIATOR AGAIN.........
Well organized Great guides Fabulous way to experience the glacier We would do it again but also had great weather
It was amazing! The tour was well organized, the guides super nice. We walked for 90 minutes as promised and really far inserier the glacier. Always time for fotos and in the end there was a surprise! All in all for this prize a good way to spend his day! Almost 9 hours and nothing to worry about! I can definitely recommend this tour!
I have never written a negative review and I am guilty of not reviewing much in general but this experience has made me so upset and I want to warn others. I booked my tour through Trip Advisor with Gray Line Argentina weeks ago. After seeing the previous post by Jamie Scott I was concerned so I decided to follow up with all my tour operators. All the other agencies had an option to message them which I did to confirm everything was good to go, but Gray Line did not have this option. I tried e-mailing two of their e-mails I found online but no response. Finally I paid to call them long distance and was told that my trip was confirmed and they would send me a follow-up by noon. I never received a follow-up email. Today I wake up to a refund with zero explanation from them. I leave for my trip on Friday and I called them again. Turns out the local tour operator (Gray Line must not do the tours themselves) was at capacity. While the woman was very nice and apologized she said there was nothing they could do and they refunded me. Had I never called them I am unsure what they would have done--possibly just never picked me up on the day of? It is extremely frustrating because all of the tours are booked for this day as it's Christmas Day--which is why I purposefully booked in advance. I recommend booking only with the companies that will be leading the tours and not third parties like Gray Line (I didn't realize they did not do the tour). Hielo y Aventura seems to be the go to operator for this tour. Hope this helps.
I booked with Gray Line Argentina November via Trip Advisor 3 days before the tour. I sent my passport number and hotel details and got a confirmation that they would pick us up at 7:30am. On the day day of the tour they DIDN’T PICK US UP and after 90 minutes of trying to call them they said they no longer had availability for the day. This is SCANDALOUS! This was the only day we could do the tour so now we’ve lost the opportunity to do a hike on the glacier. It’s also unclear if I’ll be able to get a refund of £400. If you Google “Gray Line Argentina” you’ll see they have 2 star reviews with lots of unhappy customers who were unable to get a refund. [I will edit this part if I get my refund]. So I’m very surprised with the positive reviews of this tour on Trip Advisor. I would seriously recommend to AVOID this company - they are incompetent at best and criminals at worst.

This tour is very nice. You get to see the Perito Moreno really well and it's very special to hike a glacier.
I wouldn't recommend booking this tour through Viator though. You still have contact the local tour operator to confirm a few things, so you might as well book the tour with the local tour operator Hielo y aventura, which is about 50-100 cheaper per person. We booked it in advance because the local tour operator didn't accept Mastercard and we were afraid the tours would be fully booked but there's always a spot left.

I wish I could give zero stars but I'll give it a 1 because the actual glacier was unbelievable and a must see. Unfortunately Viator is the worst site to use for booking excursions. They don't provide accurate information or follow up. For example we booked both the glacier tour and a day trip to Chile to see Torres Del Paine. For BOTH of these excursions Viator sent information saying to contact the tour companies they assigned to us but when I contacted the companies multiple times I never got confirmation of pickup. In fact the companies listed in the Viator confirmation ended up NOT being the companies that picked us up. Only when I had the hotels call did I get the final confirmation and this didn't happen until the night before the tour. Again- no email confirmation- completely unresponsive tour companies and unless you micromanage EVERY detail and sweat it out with your local hotel you run the risk of not even making a tour you spend hundreds of dollars on. Ditch Viator ditch the vendors they use and find one that's responsive separately. That's my recommendation. I won't be using this site again for excursions. But you must see the Glacier if in Patagonia.

Absolutely incredible trip! The highlight of my trip to Patagonia. Every staff member along the way was kind and just fantastic. The bus pick up came a bit late, but they had called my hotel ahead of time to alert me. The scenery was indescribable. I wish we could have spent more time on the walkway but agreed with the design of the tour to have more time on the actual glacier. The chocolate and whiskey at the end of the trip was a very nice touch. The hike does not require you to be in shape, although it does help as the climb can be steep at times. However, the crampons make the climb almost effortless. I read a review that said stop reading and reserve this tour. I listened, and I again pass that on to you!

What a great tour! Very friendly staff, great transport to the glacier with a really nice and knowledgeable tour guide. We had a fantastic time! Perito Moreno was stunning, such a good experience! The mini-trek was definitely the highlight of the tour, definitely recommend it!

Very unusual experience. The hike on the glacier was great. The later view from the observation deck was fantastic. Guides were great.

Excellent experience. We celebrated with whiskey and chocolate at the end. Guides were extremely knowledgeable and emphasized safety. I would do it again. Scenery is amazing.

What an amazing experience. Breath taking at every moment. There is no more beautiful place in the world than the Perito Moreno Glacier. I wish I could capture the sounds of the glacier in my photos. A must for anyone visiting El Calafate. I still can't believe I actually hiked in the glacier. I'm not very fit and was worried but it was no problem. Tip: bring hiking boots and gloves as gym shoes hurt in crampons and gloves are required. The tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly without getting in the way of a true experience. Would love a repeat of this tour!

Fantastic experience! Hiking on the glacier was easy and fun! The guides were knowledgeable and fun! Don't just go look at the glacier, hike it as well! It is worth the money and time!

OMG, must do! Simply just book it and don't read any other reviews. Only advice is to bring your own gloves which are required. Well worth it

Ice trekking is a must. Excellent guides, very nice and helpful. Well organized. A great adventure.

Really good, prompt pick up in the morning, and really helpful guides. Would love to do this again.

Absolutely amazing! One of a kind experience, very easy to do. Gives you an opportunity to see the glaciers in few different ways!

Perito Merino glacier is a must see and if you want a very easy introduction to crampon walking on ice with good guides and much good humour and a whisky on the ice to finish this is the tour for you. We had a fun day with an extremely comfortable bus to get us there and back. The balcony walk to get the overview of the glacier and watch it crack and split if you're lucky was a lovely way to finish this trip too. Not too far from El Calafate. Highly efficient tour and great guide we hope Julio will come and visit us on his way to the glaciers in the south of New Zealand sometime

The tour was excellent and the whole experience is awesome but the it was not cheap. All in all we paid 100/ person on average. You can book the same tour for less money from either viva Patagonia or heilo aventura in el calafate for less amount of money. They are pretty good at scheduling so it should not be a problem.

Spectacular glacier seen through a well-organized tour featuring trekking on the glacier, seeing the massive wall of ice from a boat, and hiking along the cliffs opposite the glacier in the National Park. Great guides, informative, fun and orchestrated like clockwork -- a very professional operation

Hiking on ice was amazing experience. Highly recommended. Guy who took us around the observation deck after hiking lacks hospitality. Seems it is better to book the tour at tour agency in downtown calafate. 20 cheaper than online reservation.

A great tour! A must do if you are ever in Calafete. This was hands down the highlight of our trip to Argentina.

A pretty good. Just like walking on a huge ice sheet really. Can get some mad photos though. If you do this tour I wouldn't bother doing the 1 day Perito Moreno Glacier trip as this tour covers that tour as well as the ice walk.

The Perito Moreno Glacier is like the Grand Canyon- photos don't do it justice. You have to experience it in person to fathom the size and beauty of it. Our guides were multilingual, really friendly, and highly expert. 1.5 hours walking the glacier was just right. At the end of the walk we were surprised with free whisky and alfajores, which was a really nice treat.

It is a good hike. Never been on a glacier so this was quite an experience for me.

Unforgetable experience and especially our complements to Walter the tourguide

Absolutely spend the money and do this tour rather than just the boat ride! Trekking on the glacier was an amazing experience that you should NOT miss. The bus picked us up on time and we took 1.5 hrs to get to the glaciers. Entrance fee to the glacier is not included 260 pesos. We then took a boat to the glacier and got amazing pictures. Boat ride was about 20mins. Next we got fitted with crampons and off we went! Julio our guide gave us an intro to the glacier before we headed up. He gave history on the glaciers in the region and how to walk with crampons correctly up the glacier and down. He also gave safety instructions. At no time did I feel unsafe. We were on the ice 1.5-2hrs? We took lots of pics. You don't need any ice experience. If you can walk up a gentle hill you can do this! We took several breaks as we went up and down. After the ice trek, we had lunch, headed back to the boat and spent an hour at the balconies viewing the glacier.

Highly recommend this excursion if you're visiting El Cafate and the Perito Moreno glacier. The hike on the glacier is of low to moderate difficulty. Once you don the crampons and climb the icy mountain, you are rewarded with amazing sights including icy blue crevices and sinkholes, ice towers, and more.

Very nice tour. You can see and feel the glacier and the guides are really helpful, explaining for everybody's understanding all you need to know about the glaciers.
Now, as I've made the tour, I think that I should pick the big trek.

It was great! something highly recommended. However, if I could do it again, as we had rented a car I'd book it directly in the park as then you don't have to get the bus, restricted to the time, etc.
It's something you must do (either the hiking or the walking inside - check directly in hieloyaventura company that is the company organizing everything).

Fantastic tour. Views were amazing, guide was fantastic. Tour went like clockwork. Lunch is not included so need to make sure you have time day before to buy food. Hotel drop off/pick up included. Hiking is not excessive but is definitely not for people who have mobility issues. A must-do.

This tour was amazing! I recommend you strongly to join this tour!

wow this is a breath taking experience .the beautifil nature we wolked on topp of a glacier I am still excited of it.the crew is very profesional and all the plan Works like swiss watch.

The day before we made our reservation, we were suddenly told by email that there was no space available for us due to overbooking. It was canceled the day before and we couldn't make another reservation, so it was a really awful experience. We came from Japan in 1.5 days and were traveling with no time to spare, so I think this is really the worst treatment we've received. I hope God punishes you!
Gracias
A unique experience, something different and very pleasant, I would highly recommend doing this excursion, Guido helped us with the coordination and was the best support possible, it is an incredible experience.
Knowing Patagonia was a dream of travel and doing minitrekking in Perito Moreno was part of it, so much so it was the only tour I had a question of buying here in Brazil. The experience is excellent. Worth every cent invested. My rating is reasonable only by the posture of two guides during the tour. Initially, they ask if you prefer to take the tour in Spanish or in English. Me and my husband asked to do in Spanish. Even at the beginning, before we put the grampones on our feet, our guide simply sent us to accompany the front group without giving us further explanations. To our unpleasant surprise, the guide only spoke English. From there we ended up having to follow the tour in English, but gently the guide ended up speaking in Spanish for our sake. After placing the grampones and beginning the walk on the glacier, I presented a little difficulty walking on the ice, since I had never done this in my life. From there one of the guides who accompanied us, named Louis, turned to me and said textually: "If you are not able to make the walk properly, you better stay around here, because we have an hour and a half for it and by the way, you won't know." That comment upset me extremely. How come "stop here"? I made many tours in El Calafate, Ushuaia, El Chalten (including Laguna de Los Tres), some with guide and others without and none of them was so unpleasant and intolerant to me. Even I having difficulties on trails, ALL the guides, of ALL the tours helped me and were concerned with me, only even this gentleman who acted this way. Despite this occurred, the tour went without problems and still, I recommend that you do, because walking and drinking Whisky with ice from the glacier is an unforgettable experience and that everyone who goes to this region can do. My score is reasonable only because of that comment.
I loved. Very good guides. It was quiet but requires minimal disposition and autonomy, because there are some narrow stretches and some climbs and descents of the., even in mini trekking. It's too beautiful. At the end, whiskey with glacier ice and candy.
Guides Leandro and Gaston were the best!!!! Very friendly fun and attentive at all times. Enterprise also provides a spectacular Service in terms of personal facilities and care. EXCELLENT EVERYTHING!
