Overall, I gave the tour a rating of 5 but it isnt perfect. Some hotels were excellent, others were a little less so. All the tour operators and guides were Amazing. The biggest thing you should know when booking this tour is it isn't really one (1) tour, its about 6-7. And in many cases you are on your own to get to the place to be picked up...like the bus station where you travel between cities. This was a surprise to me. Maybe i didn't read the instructions well enough. This made the trip a little more intimidating, but it worked out and we don't regret taking it. If I had a chance to rate them differently it would be a 4.8.

Itinerary
Day 1
1
Upon arrival at El Calafate Airport, you’ll be transported to your hotel (shared service).
After check-in, you have the rest of the day free to explore local shops and restaurants around town, or venture outside El Calafate to surrounding areas like Laguna Nimez, where you’ll see a beautiful sunset (the front desk personnel at your hotel can give you information on transportation, hiking and more).
Day 2

After an early breakfast, head out for a full-day guided excursion to Los Glaciares National Park, where you’ll see Perito Moreno Glacier.
Admire beautiful views of this UNESCO World Heritage Site on a boat cruise, which allows you to see the glacier up-close. Then take a walk on nearby walkways that will lead you to viewing platforms which showcase the 19-mile-long (30 km) Perito Moreno Glacier from different angles. Stop for lunch at the park before continuing your exploration (lunch is not included). After your visit to the national park, you’ll be driven back to your hotel in El Calafate, where you’ll have free time to eat dinner and relax. **OPTIONAL: If you would prefer to upgrade your tour to include the Mini-Trekking or Big Ice excursions, both of which allow you to hike the glacier, please write it down in the special requirements box (while booking) and we’ll quote it for you.

You can get all the necessary hiking information at your hotel or at the Tourist Information Center located right next to the bus station. There are full-day hiking options to Cerro Torre and Mt Fitz Roy, located on the border of Argentina and Chile, as well as shorter, 2- to 3-hour hiking trails near the mountain. Don't forget to pack lunch if you decide to take one of the full-day hikes! Also, if you don’t feel like hiking, you can take an optional boat tour down Lago del desierto (Desert Lake) to discover more of Chalten’s natural beauty.
Day 6

Enjoy an early breakfast and spend your last few hours in El Chalten at your leisure. This is the perfect day to go for a morning hike and buy some souvenirs before departing to El Calafate.
In the afternoon, your transfer will pick you up at your hotel in Chalten to take you back to El Calafate where you’ll have the evening free to do as you wish.

On the way to Torres del Paine, you’ll visit Milodon Cave, a natural monument composed of three caverns (entrance fee is not included). After reaching Torres del Paine, you will visit the most scenic panoramas of the park that are accessible by vehicle. Covering 447,260 acres (181,000 hectares), this national park is full of stunning natural beauty. Some highlights of this tour are: Grey Lake, Pehoe Lake, Salto Grande waterfall, Nordenskjöld Lake, Amarga Lagoon, etc. On the way, your guide will point out local wildlife like wild guanacos, caramel-colored animals in the llama family, which can be found roaming the nearby plains. After admiring the breathtaking views you can call it a day as your transport takes you back to your hotel in Puerto Natales. The evening is yours to do as you wish. **OPTIONAL: If you would prefer to change this tour to a full-day hiking tour please write it down in the special requirements box (while booking) and we’ll quote it for you.
Day 9

The rest of the day will be free for you to enjoy on your own. **OPTIONAL: This day, you have the option to upgrade your regular bus to a door-to-door transport that includes a navigation and walk on Magdalena Island (which houses one of the largest colonies of Magellanic Penguins). Day 11

After breakfast, you will leave on a full-day excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park. This tour will give you the opportunity to get off the beaten path and see a side of the park that most visitors miss. Your guided tour of the park includes hiking along the Beagle Channel and canoeing on the Lapataia River to Lapataia Bay (lunch is included). After enjoying the stunning views and learning about the region’s incredible scenery, you’ll be driven back to your hotel. The rest of the evening will be free to enjoy as you wish. Note: canoeing is subject to weather conditions. Canoeing difficulty: low.
Day 12

After breakfast, you’ll make your way to the pier for a boat cruise on the famous Beagle Channel (transport to the pier is not provided). Gain gorgeous panoramas of Ushuaia Bay and see diverse marine wildlife like cormorants and fur seals on De los Lobos and De los Pajaros islands. Very close to those, is Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, an authentic symbol of Ushuaia, built in 1919. Hop off the boat on one of the Bridges Isles, where you’ll walk and listen to the history of the native inhabitants, the Yamanas. As this is the largest island, you’ll enjoy amazing panoramic views of the Beagle Channel with the town of Ushuaia in the distance. During the cruise, you will be offered included snacks and a glass of mate, the typical Argentine beverage. After the tour, you’ll get back to your hotel by your own means. The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy as you wish. **OPTIONAL: If you would prefer to upgrade this tour to include the Magellanic Penguin Rookery visit on Martillo Island, please write it down in the special requirements box (while booking) and we’ll quote it for you. Please note this optional excursion is available from October to April and from July to mid September.

This was an amazing experience. The itinerary was fantastic and includes some incredible experiences in Patagonia. It is a good mix of free time and organised tours. I would highly recommend this trip.
This 13-day package, there’re about 6 days on your own or the travel agent arranged you on local bus from city to city, no pick up from accommodation and bus stop, all on your own expenses. If you are on transfer from city to city and that count one day of package. Accommodations on this package were cheap arranged, no starts hotel, far from the “town”. Very inconvenient. I will not recommend any tours, packages that offer/arrange by Say Hueque travel agent based in Buenos Aires Argentina,
13 days, there’re many days, transfer hotel to bus station, meeting point on your own, meaning need to pay from what you had paid advance. Hotels are small and cheap. Not worth it at all. There’re many improvements those travel agents need to put effort.
Found this company from Travel Local. They adapted tours to fit our requirements and their advisor Maria was really able to understand what we wanted. Excellent service and a very good trip.
We went to El Calafate on our own. By domestic flight and driving. Such a beautiful place to see and experience.
After researching independent travel, I worked with Say Hueque Agency to put together a customized 12 day tour of Buenos Aries, Ushuaia, El Calafate, and Iguazu. I was very happy with the professionalism and courtesy offered by Karen Rosa in the planning and booking process and Cecilia Martire while I was in Argentina. I felt comfortable with all the tour operators and transportation companies that provided services that were exactly as I expected. Everyone was polite and helpful while eagerly sharing their knowledge and pride of their city or region. Argentina has so much to offer and I am happy that I have great memories of the nature, architecture and people of an awesome country.
I chose Say Hueque to organize me a tour of Patagonia and it was a very good choice! The program (developed by Say Hueque, I did only one amendment - I added one day in El Chalten) contained the most interesting places of Patagonia, the most worth seeing. Everything was perfectly organized, everything took place at the time Say Hueque gave me, everything lasted as much as Say Hueque gave me, all the trips took place according to the schedule. The hotels were clean, warm, met the expected standard, the staff very friendly and helpful. Buses are also comfortable and clean. My trip lasted 14 days and there was not a single organizational slip at all times. Before the trip, I got all the information and details about the trip, including an emergency phone number to Say Hueque. It's a very professional travel agent and recommendable to everyone!!! I am planning to visit South America more in the future and I will certainly do it with Say Hueque.
From start to finish we received an absolutely top class service from Say Hueque - and Lujan, in particular. This was the first time we had ever used the services of a tour operator and, based on our experience with Say Hueque, we would happily do the same again. Lujan was patience itself, responding to our endless queries ahead of our booking with great professionalism and consideration. We also hugely appreciated the opportunity to tailor the 13 day trip to our own particular needs such that we were able to exchange the days earmarked for Buenos Aires with days in Chubuk Province and a visit to Gaiman and to Peninsular Valdes, both utterly fascinating destinations and highly recommended. The hotels were all clean and comfortable and all were within easy reach of the town centres which made exploration strolls and going out for meals really easy. The tour operators selected by Say Hueque at each stage of the trip were as friendly and as professional in the delivery of their services as Say Hueque themselves. The groups were small and the attention to detail - and the willingness of the guides to always go that extra distance by responding to all queries - was outstanding and very much appreciated. We absolutely and without hesitation recommend Say Hueque to anyone else wanting to visit the many natural splendours of Argentina, a fabulous destination that we would very much like to return to again - to visit the eastern and northern parts of the country. We will then certainly enlist the services of Say Hueque again!
Travelled for 3 weeks through Argentina and Chile visiting Patagonia. Excellent service with friendly guides and drivers. Will do it again.
Say Hueque did a great job for us. The entire process including planning, booking, transportation, lodging and daily excursions went very well. There was great communication every step of the way. Marcela, our Buenos Aires destination host was outstanding!
We actually significantly tweeked this itinerary to fit our needs. Could not have competed with the excellent job that Patricio at Say Hueque did for us. Everything was as expected or better. All the transfers and connections were on time and worked. Ended our trip with a tour at Iguazu Falls and a half day city tour of Buenas Aires and evening dinner/Tango show. All were very well done.
I had a clear picture of my trekking holiday through Patagonia in mind and Say Hueque put it all into reality for me. Service and information plus support were excellent before and during the trip. Request for changes were quickly addressed and even when there were questions during the trip the support was always there and adapted to my personal needs! I can highly recommend this agency!
Say Hueque did a great job of making our tour of Patagonia unforgettable. From standing next to a glacier and watching it calve chunks of ice to walking with the penguins, almost every moment was fantastic. The hiking opportunities to view mountain peaks and glacier lakes far exceeded my expectations. Thank you for a trip of a lifetime.
My Patagonia trip was one of my best trips. I chose Say Hueque service because I like to travel by myself but not speaking spanish. The tour program allowed me to travel freely in some days that suited my traveling style. Everything went smoothly from well organized tour operators in each town. Most hotels are in good locations and not far from bus stations. I was lucky about the weather in most days except the afternoon in Torres Del Paine. It was raining while we were about to walk to glacier. I was not sure about what we could see when raining but the tour leader insisted us to go. After 20 min walking in the valley, it rained a lot more with strong wind. All of us could not go further and had to walk back with wet pants and shoes. After that we went to the giant sloth cave. It was my terrible experiences to get wet and cold almost 2hrs until delivered to the hotel. If I could spend 1-2 more days in Torres Del Paine, it would be great experinces because this national park has a lot to see and too big to visit in 1 day. In addition, traveling from Puerto Natales to Punta Arenas and to Ushuaia by buses took very long time and made me tired. If I could change, I would have not follow the program to Punta Arenas and Ushuaia but spend more days in Torres Del Paine because the highlight of this program is in El Calafate, El Chalten, Puerto Natales.... Just my opinion. I do not rate the Say Hueque tour 5 scores because it was rather expensive. Besides the high price, I was happy with the professional tour operators : )
I have used Say Hueque twice now for incredible trips to South America. Four years ago was a 2-week trip to beautiful Patagonia, and they did an excellent job. Now I just returned from Peru and Bolivia where they arranged flights, transfers, and an exciting 26-mile hike on the Inca Trail ending in Machu Picchu. The trips were flawless, and I would highly recommend them. In fact, we traveled to Lake Titicaca, and as we were speaking with fellow passengers on a little boat from Copacabana to Isla del Sol I mentioned to a lady that we had used a travel agency from Buenos Aires and she immediately asked "Say Hueque?" This blew me away; out of the hundreds of agencies there must be in Buenos Aires, she would mention my favorite? Their reputation is well deserved.
Finding that organising an independant trip for my brother and myself in South America for a non-Spanish speaker was difficult and likely to result in long delays, unexpected expenses and awkward connections, I contacted Say Hueque for a quote. From the start, their travel consultant, Lucia, provided answers and alternatives to my many enquiries and changes of mind. The result was a fantastic trip on a modified itinerary of the above trip. I doubt that I could have saved money organising this trip myself and it was definitely cheaper than a group travel company which we wanted to avoid. Say Hueque provided great accommodation choices and travel connections that were unbelievably efficient. People turned up on time for transfers and everyone went out of their way to ensure the success of our trip. Even when things went off track, as they sometimes do, (eg; landslides, border closures, road accident delays, etc.) the service providers ensured that time loss and inconvenience was kept to a minimum. Thanks Say Hueque, and Lucia in particular, for the fantastic friendship and impression of Argentina that we came away with.
After much searching for South America travel agencies, we requested a quote from Say Hueque. From that first request through the end of our trip, we could not be more happy with Say Hueque! My husband and I are very active and love being outdoors, and were looking for the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation for our honeymoon. Say Hueque (and Lucia specifically!!) helped us plan an incredible 2-week itinerary that included exploring Buenos Aires, visiting penguins in Ushuaia, a day long trek on the Moreno Glacier in El Calafate, and five days backpacking the W trail, and ending with three days of luxury in Patagonia Camp. Lucia was super responsive to our emails, and patiently adjusted the itinerary many times since we were rather indecisive in the beginning. We are not big on traveling with a group, which was perfect because a lot of our trip was self-guided. That being said, all of our transfers, tickets, and reservations were on point and we always knew where we had to be and when. Oh, and they were BY FAR the most affordable travel agency we could find! SUCH amazing value for the price. So if you want an adventurous, once-in-a-lifetime trip to see Patagonia, appreciate a mix of tours and time to yourself, don't want to have to worry about coordinating transfers, hotels, etc, and appreciate saving some money - you have to choose Say Hueque!!

The trip and all accommodations were excellent. It was truly the trip of a lifetime. The tours were wonderful and the trip was very well planned out by Viator. My only complaint would be that I would have liked more information regarding our itinerary before we left home and we had one problem with a bus trip where we did not receive any tickets in advance. Otherwise the trip was excellent. The trip was very inexpensive compared to other tour companies and we were extremely happy with all our accommodations.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Here is an overall review of our trip '13 day Patagonia. This is an insider review for you to know what actually happened on the road. Also to give you the analysis of agents to put this trip in place. If you have any specific question, we are more than happy to answer!

El Carafate
Picked up from the airport and explained everything, that was good
Hotel, Las Dunas, was nice, good breakfast, very helpful staff, slight problem: being outside the city, taxis were not always reliable.
Los Glaciers National Park: was very good, Daniella, the guide, was very passionate about Argentina and the park, explained everything well.
Kayaking la Leona river: it was nice, we were a small group, had a lot of fun. It was great that all the equipment was provided. However, description of the trip needs to be updated, it did not give enough information about the hike/walk etc.
Bus: Double decker bus was very comfortable and smooth we enjoyed stopping at la Leona ranch and reading the history.

El Chalten
Hotel Posada El Barranco: Small but ok, very helpful and friendly staff, their breakfast needs improvement, meat and cheese perhaps and some non-sweet cereal would be nice.
Hikes: it was nice to decide and do the hikes on your own and discover the town as you wish.

Puerto Natales
Frances Drake Hostel: No one spoke English but one person and she was never there when we needed.
Torres del Paine National Park: The driver who drove the van drove fast on an uneven road without considering the effect on passengers. Nadia, the guide, did not seem to share her knowledge with the whole group. She did not point out half the information listed on the sheet given to us by Planet Patagonia. She didn't give explanations about much of the park. Seemed as if they were rushed to complete the trip and go on their own business.
Planet Patagonia was sloppy and unorganized the evaluation form they gave us to evaluate the day's activities was already used by someone else. When we pointed this to Nadia, she shrugged did not even tried to find a solution. When we were out of the hotel, Planet Patagonia left a bus voucher for the next day at the hotel for us with no explanation. Any question could not be answered because no one understood enough English to help. Hike in the park would have been nice rather than driving around in a van, which was very uncomfortable Puerto Natales was nice and easy to get around to.

Punta Arenas
Lacolet hotel was the nicest place we stayed except they gave us the matrimonial suite instead of two single beds. We had the best breakfast there and the staff tried everything to help us even though they didn't speak English.
Planet Patagonia's ticket voucher given to us, which we realized later, was for a different bus company at a different time than what our schedule from Say Hueque said. Our schedule said 9:00am departure time, when we reach to the location at 8:35am 1/2 hour before bus leaves there was nobody. We thought we were at the wrong place so we tried the other bus company listed in our itinerary, there was a person there that helped us realize we had missed the bus.

Ushuaia
In Hotel 'Rosa de Los Vientos' room was not clean, shower was broken, adjusting heat was hard, the beds were very narrow, we slept with a fear of falling of the bed to the concrete floor .
Trekking in Tierra del Fuega National Park and paddling in Lapataia river: it was a good hike, provided lunch was good, paddling in Lapataia river was fun. This was a very good excursion.
Beagle Channel: it was good, Rodrigo, our guide, was very informative.
Martillo Island: Fantastic! The guide Anita was very informative and pleasant.

Say Hueque
Augustina was very helpful throughout the booking process and the actual trip. She helped us the most when we missed our bus due to a time and company discrepancy on our itinerary. She even tried to set us an extra excursion while we spent an extra day hanging around in Punta Arenas which was not much fun, but it just happened to be too windy to go to. She has been prompt in responding to questions and has helped us even with situations that did not include excursions booked through Say Hueque.

Overall Viator did very well, we enjoyed being met at the airport, and explained the details for El Calafate. The hotels being chosen and paid for so that we didn't have to deal with all the details but find out about the places we were interested in and do as we pleased was very helpful. One last thing, we were surprised to find out that two people from our group who paid to stay in the hostels, the lowest price, stayed half of the time at the same hotels we did. We are wondering why we had to pay more for the same services!!!

Hope this will help you to figure out if any improvement is needed. Thanks for all

Overall the trip was awesome! I'm not very athletic, so trekking is not in my future, but I still had scenic walks and a wonderful time. The Perito Moreno Glacier, Beagle Channel and penguins are not to be missed! Ushuaia has the bluest sky I've ever seen.

We loved our trip. Everything was prepared perfectly. Good contact with the organisator my emails were answered almost imidiately Accomodation was like expected plus some upgrades. There was an info about our departures/excoursions waiting for us in hotels/hostels. Transport was on time. We had enough time for us and we were free to spend our time as we wanted to.
I can't say anything bad. Could repeat this trip even now :
I have only a good memories! Already missing sun, rain, people and landscape.

My daughter and I took the 13-day best of Patagonia tour with additional activities like the kayak tour in La Leona River and Walking with the Penguins at Martillo Island. Patagonia is an amazing place and the way Viator set up the trip was excellent. On our arrival, representative from Huellas Del Sur, met us at the airport and oriented us to the town and explained what to expect. Having all the hotels and the major visiting sites arranged by Viator, gave us more time to discover the towns and hike the trails we wanted to and tried numerous good restaurants and excellent Malbec wine all along. Highly recommend to anybody who loves nature and wants to see some of the most beautiful landscape of the world!

We had a pretty amazing trip. Everything was very well organized and on time and the places to see were incredible! We did not speak any Spanish but that was not a problem at all.

For anyone traveling to southern Patagonia, seeing the Perito Moreno Glacier is a must!

This tour was excellent with consistent accommodation throughout the trip. I had hostel private rooms and they were all fine for me and close enough to walk to the main parts of town. The only thing that was missing on the trip for me was a trip to see the penguins in Ushuaia but otherwise it was a very well designed trip and I was not disappointed! The tour I was on was booked via SAStravel.

My husband and I were very disappointed in this and tour and; and did not have a very good customer service experience. Unfortunately the character limit here keeps me from providing detail, but ultimately this was not what I would call a tour and you should just arrange it yourself or join a real tour.

I booked this trip for my wife and I, and chose the comfort accommodation. The tour is actually arranged by a local tour operator and Viator do little more than collect your money. Our tour arranger was Lucía Echenique and I had difficulty getting a response via phone and email initially on tour details. This made it difficult to make fine tuning on the arrangements. That being said we had the trip of a lifetime. The accommodation was adequate but the staff in every hotel were very helpful and welcoming. Calafate is a great town. Art Indio is a great place to change s and you will get your first opportunities to gorge on the excellent pastries that Patagonia seems to have in abundance. The Perito Merino glacier is spectacular and you will be astounded by the noise it makes round the clock. You are practically guaranteed to see a piece break off and fall into the lake. Danielle was our guide who provided an informative and entertaining commentary on the way there and back.
In Chalten we stayed at the Senderos, you will see reviews that the rooms are too hot and we had a similar experience initially. The overheating is due to the effect of the sun, Sophia owner was very considerate and provided a fan that dealt with the problem by sleep time. The hiking here in Chalten is every bit as advertised, however, time and distance estimates can be a little wild. If taking Laguna de los tres trail make sure to leave early in the day to ensure you return before dark.
Puerto Natales is where we discovered that Patagonians eat late and we could find nowhere open before 7pm. Navigating the border with Chile took a significant amount of the first day as we queued first to get out of Argentina and then to get into Chile. Dogs sniff all luggage looking for prohibited foodstuff.
The Torres Del Paine Tour is excellent but be prepared for the wind that brings gusts strong enough to knock you off your feet. There is a also the cave of the Milodon.

I booked this tour to help avoid the difficulty of arranging buses and accommodation in high season when doing Patagonia. There were some teething troubles in terms of support and communication from Viator and the chain of agents involved in the booking but overall, the tour does help with logistics pretty well and lets you get on with seeing the sights.

I would have preferred a bit more activity/trekking in Torres del Paine but in general most aspects were OK. The hotel in Puerto Natales was in the red light district which detracted from taking a wander in the evening.

What's really missing from this package though, is interaction with other people. It would improve the product for solo traveller like me, to know who else is on the tour in the towns so you could socialise and bring the trip to life as it is always the people that make the memories along with the amazing sights Patagonia has to offer.

To sum up, the tour was functional but overpriced for such bare bones service.

Excellent experience. Patagonia is an amazingly beautiful place and this tour gave us a great mix of locations and activities.

We choose the b and b level accommodation and were impressed with where we staying

The self guided nature of the tour is refreshing as you are not tied to a tour group

Considering that I am using a suitcase on rollers and not a backpack, the Hostel del Glaciar Libertador was not within walking distance. The hostel was fine. You just don't want a room near the breakfast area, which gets traffic evening and a.m.

Very bad hotel in Ushuaia. No breakfast provided, smelly and dirty room and the entire hostel. Won't recommend it to anyone.
No clear explanation from the travel agency about the entire tour. Missing maps of hostels.

The experience was not worth the Penalty the value for money quality does not justify u. Boat ride is what I definitely don't stir it myself.
I've never really been in these moves and I've had a great time. The game master Ruben, from 10 !!! We will repeat for sure, I loved it!!!! Everything great, to recommend!!!!
ENRIQUE AND HIS TEAM’S ATTENTIONS, treatment, respect, communication. All very beautiful. Worth it!!!!! Tracking guides, excellent food, animation all very wellnnnn 🤩🤩🤩
SALAUN tour from the Altiplano to Patagonia Local tour operator AMAHUACA ARGENTINA perfect in carrying out the circuit: quality of French-speaking guides, quality of sites and accommodation. Domestic flights on comfortable regular lines. On the other hand, Salaun and its local representative Roussel Voyages were completely defective in terms of the transfer from Paris to Buenos Aires via Madrid. 13 hours of flight with Air Europa low cost company which offers over 13 hours of travel a mini meal tray (non-airtight dish) pasta covered with aluminum foil, a piece of bread, a plate of butter, a chocolate brownie and a liquid cup. Breakfast a partially filled cup with coffee without any other accompaniments. The commercial proposal established with the local agency mentions a regular IBERIA type company, therefore non-compliance with contractual commitments. I contacted the local agency who should inquire with Salaun. I will update my comment based on upcoming events. (Service for 2 people 13,000 euros we could at least obtain a regular flight, we have never suffered this kind of inconvenience during much less expensive trips)
There are not enough 100 characters to name the people. A fraternal hug to each one of them. Every year I wait for the return
We spent 21 days in a four-wheel drive car from Puerto Varas to Punta Arenas. What we have seen and experienced there is really only the expression “dreamy”. Nice people, nice and special accommodation, as well as a landscape where you could not get tired of seeing each other.
