Beautiful hotel, serene and tranquil. Surrounded by birds. Bit further from town but there was a free shuttle running every hour.

Nice property a few minutes drive from the center of El Calafate. Rooms are spacious and clean, some with a view of the lake. The staff was super helpful, breakfast was ready early and was delicious. The lunch boxes were good too. The bathroom is a little dated, but functional enough. As with most properties in the area, the walls are a bit thin, but no noise from outside and the hotel felt overall quiet. Very recommended!

Wow! What a wonderful hotel and staff! I worked with Cecelia weeks before our visit and she assisted me in booking excursions and filling me in on all things Calafate. Having never been to Calafate, her help was a treasure. Upon arrival, I found the hotel to exceed my expectations in every way: the accommodations, the food, the views, and especially the service. I also highly recommend the in-house restaurant for meals. Not only is it convenient, but the food was of the highest quality and delicious! Thank you, Cecelia, Mattias, Eduardo, and all the staff for making our stay exceptional!

I had a fantastic stay at the Rochester Hotel in El Calafate. The location is simply stunning—it’s perched in a spot that offers absolutely beautiful views of the lake right from your window. Being a bit away from the city center is worth it for that view, and they do offer a free shuttle a few times a day. Service is top-notch as well. Rafael at the reception was incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure we felt welcome. Breakfast was delicious, with especially good pastries and amazing services from the staff!!! though I’d suggest adding some fresh orange juice to make it perfect. As for the rooms, they are spacious, but a bit on the basic side. The main downside was that the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. Still, the overall experience was lovely, and the lobby is really nice and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend it for the views and the great service!
