Disappointing for a hotel at this price point We stayed for three nights with our 8.5-month-old baby. The room itself was fine, but being given a room with internal stairs when travelling with a baby and a stroller showed a lack of consideration. Breakfast was generous and good. Unfortunately, the real issues lie elsewhere. Despite clear no-smoking rules, guests smoke freely around the hotel, including on the breakfast terrace and by the pool. When asked to intervene, staff simply respond that it is “not their job.” This is unacceptable. Worse, guests also smoke cannabis, with the smell drifting into the hotel itself. The pool area is far from relaxing, with guests playing music through their own speakers and bringing their own bottles of spirits, including vodka. It creates an atmosphere that feels more like a public beach than a luxury hotel. The gym is decent, but access to the spa is only included if you book a treatment. At €600–700 per night, I expect a much higher standard of service, comfort and facilities. Several areas of the hotel also clearly need maintenance. I appreciate that Royal Beach may be considered one of the best hotels in Eilat, but for travellers accustomed to high-end hotels internationally, the gap between the price charged and the experience delivered is hard to ignore. The hotel has potential, but management needs to take much greater responsibility for enforcing its own rules and maintaining the standards expected at this price point.

Here’s the updated review with your addition: ⸻ In my opinion, the Royal Beach Eilat is simply the best hotel in Eilat. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, which makes the stay really comfortable. The swimming pool is beautiful and perfectly designed for relaxing and enjoying the sun. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide and varied selection of fresh and high-quality food every morning. The view from my room was absolutely incredible and made the stay even more special. Overall, everything in the hotel is spotless, the service is great, and the experience is consistently top level. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it
I wish I could have given 5 stars for the experience. I had always loved Isrotel Exclusive hotels, until I visited Royal Beach Eilat. In my opinion, this is definitely not at the level of an Isrotel Exclusive hotel. The food quality was far below what we’ve experienced at other Isrotel properties. On top of that, we had a terrible experience at the Saturday evening dinner. We booked 4 rooms and paid a very significant amount for the dinner, so naturally I expected the high standard you normally receive at any Isrotel Exclusive hotel. Instead, the food was by far the worst meal of the stay, it honestly felt like we were being served leftovers from the previous day, which was extremely disappointing and embarrassing for a hotel of this level. Unfortunately, it didn’t end there. We submitted a complaint to customer service, and instead of handling it professionally, I received a phone call where I was spoken to disrespectfully, told that “this is the level,” that I’m not the one to decide what the standard of the food should be, and essentially that my opinion didn’t matter. Without question, this was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Personally, I would not return to this hotel, and I can honestly say this was the most disappointed I’ve ever felt after a vacation, especially from a brand I used to genuinely appreciate.
Royal Beach Eilat provides a high standard of hospitality with professional service and spacious well maintained guest rooms. The rooms are clean and offer ample space for a comfortable stay. The dining hall features an extensive variety of food options including a wide selection of fresh vegetables. Service at the hotel bar is less efficient and the cocktail preparation lacks professional technique. Despite the service challenges at the bar the overall facilities and accommodations offer a high quality experience.
Great hotel, maybe the best in Eilat. We had a suite on the 14th floor with lounge access. The lounge was great with good food and drinks. There are 3 connected pools and a huge number of seating options for sun lovers and people that like to read books far from crowd. The service is great everywhere. There is limited parking in the hotel so we paid 35 shekels for a daily underground parking just across the street, Royal Garden hotel. You can walk to most places, you can fetch a cab if you want to visit the Big Shopping area. There are at least 10 restaurants within 100 meters from hotel. Monkey's pub is a great gathering place for a beer after 10 pm, also less than 100 meters from hotel, exit from pool area in the back.
