Neptune Eilat Hotel

I was in this hotel with my parents in the 80's and came back last week with my husband and it was a great surprise to see how the workers there are so nice and smiling and helpful with anything, from the house keeping, to the waiters and bar etc. Smiling and nice even though not everybody is always nice to them so big up to the Neptune team The rooms are nice and clean, we got a beautiful view on the red sea and they even treat us with a bottle of arak and snacks for our honey moon Location is perfect, on the beach and the swimming pool is nice and quiet when they are not ugly people to come with their loud music and cigarettes (even though it is forbidden) definitely recommended!

We had a wonderful weekend at the Neptune Eilat.prime location.excellent food variety.all personnel welcoming and service oriented. A few things to note for:1.no coffee machine in the rooms only kettle.2.a roof tile was missing in the gym.3.the blue light in the balcony cannot be switched off and it is eye glaring.also the glass is partially milky by design so the beautiful bay sight it is a bit obstructed.4.some guests brought personal speakers by the pool and were lately treated by the staff to lower/remove it..(inappropriate unless u do it in a personal way in my opinion )

I really wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel. My whole experience was frustrating and honestly pretty disappointing. I originally booked a stay at the Dan Panorama, but were placed here instead, which already started things off on the wrong foot. This hotel felt much more outdated and not at all what we were expecting or paying for. On my first night, the front desk gave another couple a key to my room and actually assigned them to it. They walked in while I was about to shower, which was pretty shocking. We barely got an apology, and no one seemed to take it seriously. After that, my room key kept randomly stopping working. I had to keep going down to reception and waiting in long lines just to get back into my room. It happened multiple times and got really frustrating. There were also ongoing issues with other guests. The room next to me was smoking, and the smell filled my room. I called to complain, but nothing really changed. And was yelled at by the manager over the phone for not calling security, although I did, they just didn’t do anything. I was also woken up at 6am by people yelling in the hallway, and again, no one did anything about it. The manager of the hotel also told me that 6 am is a normal time for people(adults) to be yelling in the hallway Overall, it just felt like the hotel was poorly managed and didn’t really care about the guest experience. Definitely not somewhere I’d ever stay again.

I really enjoyed the stay. Location is prime. you can choose between the pool and the amazing see beach. also located directly on the broadwalk with plenty of shopping and food alternatives. room was excellent. very spacious, amazing balcony with ocean view. the bath is also very large compared to other hotels. and has a bath tub with jacuzzi and also a shower.
