Pay cash when u arrive was really nice and they have multiple boats. Dont book through Viator, it's double the price

He explained the history of the surrounding area and also took amazing photos and videos of our experience, super grateful for his kindness and passion for his work. We will be back soon for a night ride, this experience was so much fun!

Relaxing & worth every penny. Will definitely be doing if again this time with the kids. The driver friendly and helped rake beautiful pictures.

On the 4th of August my family of 6 went on a gondola ride. It was a beautiful and serene day. We went on two gondolas and the gondoliers were very friendly. The ride was silent and smooth. We would recommend this ride to all and to make use of the facilities. I work at the Point and never used this facility. It was a different day whereby the ride was enjoyed by all and would thoroughly recommend. I would do it over and over again.

The people did not have busses or drivers. After 90 minute delay we got a private taxi to take us. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Quiet uninteresting gondola ride that takes you down through a canal between some apartment buildings and office buildings. If you go at 5pm then you miss a good sunset when the better alternative is to just walk along the sidewalk behind Shaka Marine at sunset time. The Gondola operator did not offer any commentary so it was very peaceful/quiet but I did not learn anything about the area unless I specifically asked, “what’s that!”

The views were beautiful, we took lots of pictures. The scenery is just everything. I loved the experience. Would highly recommend.

The atmosphere was just amazing. We enjoyed ourselves. The temperature was also favourable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We saw 4 of the Big 5!!! The trip out to the reserve was wonderfulnwith conmentarybfrom our guide, Man! Weather was windy and rainy but our guide was prepared with ponchos. Excellent excursion.

This boat was extremely fun, relaxing, informative, and entertaining. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and was a great driver. We arrived early and they took us out on arrival. Overall great experience, only wish it could have lasted longer.

The whole experience was wonderful but only took 10 minutes or less..not 30 minutes as advertised. Only disappointing part was that otherwise the ride itself was enjoyable.

When the driver of the Gondola boat was buying ice cream for us, the Gondola boat moved with us and he couldn’t get back in. It was the funniest thing for us

What a lovely experience! We bought a voucher and took the kids for a magical gondola ride. It was a sunny Durban day and the 20 minute gondola ride was perfect. The canals are beautiful and really gave us a different view of Durban. They made it extra special by showing the children a floating bottle in the water filled with sweets for them. Wow that made their day. Definitely a must when in Durban.

The trip doesn’t offer much to see except other holiday apartments, but offers relaxation and tranquility while the guide slowly steers you around in the Gondola. The guide was friendly and chatty. This ride is perfect if you just want to relax.

Really nice ride. Just make the cruises a bit longer and let the guests see the vessels at the harbour

Russ Iz and self were staying in the Point Waterfront apartments overlooking the canal last weekend; below our balcony we could see the motor driven gondolas pottering along. Next day we strolled up the canal to ticketing at Zulu Safaris up the steps from the canal on the eastern side of the uShaka Mariine complex and bought our ride. Straight down and practically, straight on. Very pleasant, peaceful and rather unusual.

This is our first time in Africa/Durban, and we wanted to do something different. This was great! Albeit a little murky at the beginning of the ride (most likely due to it being still water), the ride featured wonderful views of the city. Our "captain" was friendly and engaging and offered to take pics of us which was nice. Would recommend to friends but take the night ride next time.
