The trip was way to long for what was seen. The bridge in Old Town Mostar was really the only worthwhile site. This tour does not meet the standards we have come to expect from Viator, based on all of the past Viator tours we have experienced over many years.

Počitelj represents one of the most important and best preserved architectural ensembles within the city walls in the region. It is located in the town of Čapljina, in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The village is situated on the left bank of the river Neretva, on the main road Mostar-Metković, and it is about 30 kilometres (19 mi) to the south of Mostar and about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from the centre of Čapljina. The nucleus of the village is built in a natural karst amphitheater along the Neretva river during the Middle Ages. In 1996, Počitelj was named by World Monuments Watch as one of the world's 100 most endangered cultural heritage sites, as proposed by the University of York, United Kingdom, and the University of Sarajevo, in the light of its outstanding value.

Tomislav was incredible, knowledable and great driver. We got to stop at several locations since our group was small. We had lunch near a monestary, walke castles, ate fresh figs at road stand, had tirkish coffe Moestar and swam at the falls. It was incredible day, Bosnia is a hidden gem. Iwould highly recommend this guide, his van was new, clean and comfortable.
Very long day. The waterfalls and Mostar are lovely but there's not enough time at either.
Absolutely horrible. Asked if we would be back in time for our cruise departure and he waived his hand at me and drove off!!!! We weren’t rude only simply asked a question! That’s it and now we don’t have anything planned in Dubrovnik.
First canceled for the weather. Second booking tour operator changed time of pick up in the last sentence of reminder with old pick time. Of course we missed the bus. Unacceptable. Totally bad communication. Warning for future bookings.
The tour to Mostar, Pocitelj and Kravice falls was a complete nightmare. Tomi driver/guide was not communicative, nor was he interested in interacting with us. We were told not to interrupt or talk while he held a monotonous incomprehensible monologue. There was no microphone in the vehicle, so the people at the back could not hear him at all. At a roadside fruit stand, we figured out that he was telling the young boy (retail owner) to charge us more. A person from our group was watching the weighing machine, and the price for the locals for the same produce and weight was charged at a lower price. He also did not take into consideration that our group comprised of retirees in our 60s and 70s with different physical capacities. He just marched ahead, to the places of interest, and did not walk along with us. He was most irritated when the slower ones could not keep up. He went on with his information download, with the fitter ones. It was MOST distressful to be shouted at, in front of other tour groups and guides, when one of us "did not do as he commanded " ! This was very unprofessional behavior !!! At the Pocitelj Old City, Tomi gave us 1/2 hour to meet back at the vehicle. He stated that he had no intention to walk the Old city with us. When his other friend Tour Guide asked why so short a time, Tomi told him This Group only needed a Driver not the Tour Guide:( Overall, this private & luxury tour was terrible, with such a disrespectful, untrustworthy, unprofessional and rude guide - Tomi. Not to mention Tomi was 35 minutes late on the pickup. At times, our group of 6 felt scared and threatened that he might just leave us in Bosnia. Even after he dropped us off at our accommodation residence, since he knows exactly where we were staying, we dared not write the review until we had left the country for fear of retaliation. We wrote this feedback to ensure no one else go through this horrible ordeal like my group. Highly NOT recommended tour agency!!!
Our trip to Bosnia, Mostar and Kravica Falls were beautiful. Our tour Tommy explained the history and we learned a lot during the day. The places that were visited were wonderful. Kravica Falls was magnificent. Mostar was beautiful as well and the restaurant that we had lunch was yummy.
I waited more than an hour for pick up, nobody came and when I called the operator- he said tour was cancelled. It would be nice if they'd actually let me know ahead so I could sort different plans. Massive let down.
A great way to spend a day if staying in Dubrovnik. You get picked up at the hotel then driven up to Bosnia-Herzegovina. Tommy is so knowledgeable he points out interesting geographical or historical features all through the journey and also expands on historical facts. He also will answer any questions. He will look after you so will find somewhere for a restroom stop and coffee stops. Also showing us local food options like burek. He will also adapt the trip to suit people’s interests. Very much a personal private tour and worth it. Would choose again.
If you are looking for a true local’s guide to Bosnia, this is your tour! Our wonderful guide, Tomislav (Tomi) took us with a small group for a tour of Kravice Falls, a small village called Polticej, and Mostar. Throughout the tour, he explained the history and the local culture. We really appreciated how accommodating he was to ensure the comfort of all passengers. Unlike more ‘commercial’ tours, we liked how this tour allowed us flexibility to explore at our own pace and truly appreciate the sights and culture of Bosnia. We recommend eating a big breakfast before you start as it will be a long time before the lunch break in Mostar. Do not miss out on all the pastry shops Tomi recommends along the way— he took us to some great finds!
It is a great tour but we were disappointed with the guide. He is kind and you can tell he wants to look after you but you can't hear him. Our lovely American lady told him twice but he didn't get the hint. We just couldn't hear him and i am sure he had loads to say as he was talking but no one could hear him The trip was meant to start at 8. It was 9.15 by time we left. He was late to every meeting place too and we were waiting for him. This may be his experience of ensuring people were there but it didn't feel professional and we had to wait He was good with loo stops though. The trip was too long and it could be shorter. We got back at 9.15ish. If pick up was at 8 like it was meant to be and if timings were better you could end up with an evening too but we lost an evening. Make sure you eat in Bosnia and plan for it taking the whole 12 hours and not 9 as advertised Both kravice waterfalls and mostar are well worth visiting.
The day is LONG. But you do get to see some amazing sights and a scenery while you're in the car. Tomi is an amazing guide, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and was happy to discuss and answer any questions we had. There was a total of 7 of us on the trip. There were plenty of comfort breaks along the way before getting to the first destination. Every destination is beautiful and worth seeing. During our reflection after the trip we all had a different favourite spot and for different reasons. Bosnia is a really cool place, and I could not recommend this trip enough. Especially if you love history - it is absolutely worth the very full on day. Hvala Tomi!
Tomi is a nice guy and is trying hard but the trip definitely needs improvement. He speaks very low and it’s quite difficult to hear him even if you’re not sitting in the back of the van. He was almost 20 minutes late picking us up from our first stop which dug into time we could have spent in Mostar. This trip could be amazing and I hope Tomi makes some adjustments for future excursions
Mini Group of 8 to Mostar and Kravice waterfalls. Tomi was kind to provide us drinks for the journey. Tomi vehicle is comfortable and great driving to make us feel safe. Kravice waterfalls was superb and Mostar old town was perfect. We also did a mini stop at Poticelj, which dint interest us too much, as there wasn't much to see. Overall, it was a great day trip from Dubrovnik.
guide was amazing , Tomislav did very nice job to plan and guide us for complete day , he was very attentive and asked us to carry passport and other important documents for crossing border , he was attentive and we loved every part of trip
Great day trip from Dubrovnik and one you should do if you have the time. Each stop was well worth the visit, and Mostar is something out of a fairy tale. We were lucky enough to see it in both day and night, and there was ample time allowed to eat and explore the Old Town.
Worst experience ever. Got dropped at last minute due to weather. ( Suspect not enough people on tour). Was told we were booked on next available and was dropped again. When exchanging texts I have never had such rude customer service in my life. Don't risk even booking with this guy.
I really like Tomi. He is a very knowledgeable tour guide and driver. He speaks English very well and he made the whole day very enjoyable. Small group, so passed quickly through the Border in a few minutes (the day before I was on a coach with 50 others and the border crossing took an hour each way, so I highly recommend going as a small group). Price of the trip was very reasonable and the vehicle was extremely comfortable. If you want to experience a great day in Bosnia, I highly recommend you book this tour. FIVE STARS *****
Th sight are worth it even with the long travel day. Mostar was beautiful . Enjoyed learning about the history. Transportation was comfortable.
Tomi was extremely unprofessional and the rudest person we’ve ever dealt with. The day before, he messaged saying the meetup time was between 8:30–9:00 AM, while the booking clearly indicated 8:00 AM. To clarify, we sent him messages (which went unanswered) and even called, but he neither picked up nor returned the call. On the morning of pickup, when we finally reached him, he immediately screamed, “I will cancel your booking!” before hanging up. Confused, we called again, and with even more rage, he shouted, “Don’t call here again!” This behavior was completely unacceptable. It was unprofessional, disrespectful, and ruined our entire day. I would never recommend this company or this individual for any customer-facing role.
Tomi was the rudest person. He was super unprofessional. The day before he messaged indicating meetup time is between 830 and 9 The booking indicated 8am meetup We messaged in an attempt to clarify, he did not reply to texts. When we called, he didn’t not answer or return the call. The morning of pickup, we called and he answered screaming “I will cancel your booking” and he hung up the phone. Confused, we called again. With absolute rage he screamed “don’t call here again!” This was unprofessional, rude and threw off our entire day. I would never recommend this company or person in the customer service industry.
It was AMAZING!!! I loved the history and learning about everything there was to offer. The food was incredible too and there isn’t anything else I would change about it :)
Excellent tour!! Tomi was a great guide and knows loads of history about Croatia and Bosnia which he told us about while driving to each destination. Definitely take this tour to visit the beautiful country of Bosnia!
The tour was great! Tomo picked us up at our hotel and we went in a small group (only 4 people) in a comfortable minivan to beautiful spots in Bosnia. As Tomi studied history, it was very interesting talking with him as he could share a LOT of information. When hungry, thirsty, a full blatter,… Tomi stopped and knew the best places to go. He is a true local and it really shows! The trip was really worth it, we‘d recommend it to everyone! The highlight was when we went to a local and phenomenal (and cheap!) restaurant in Mostar Old Town. Tomi even showed us a really good bakery where we could buy something for dessert as I had big cravings for Trilece and Baklava 🤣. Definitely worth the trip!
Bonjour from France, So I went for a small group tour with Tomislav with a friend, and Tomislav was very welcoming, knowledgeable about history and explains during the travel to keep you engaged. He is also really warm, punctual, calm and not in a hurry to finish the trip. He takes his time and that is the best thing about him. Also his calm and composure. So, definitely recommended. Love from Paris, George
Very nice trip and perfect driver and guide I recently had a wonderful trip to Mostar, a beautiful city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The highlight was the iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge), which arches gracefully over the Neretva River. The view from the bridge was breathtaking, and I loved watching local divers jump into the water below. The old town was full of charm, with cobbled streets, traditional markets, and friendly locals. I enjoyed delicious Bosnian food like ćevapi and baklava. One of the best parts of the trip was visiting the nearby Kravica Waterfalls — stunning, peaceful, and perfect for a swim. I’d love to visit again someday.
We had a great day with Toni. He was fantastic and very knowledgeable about everything. He suggested additional stops that we decided that it was too much as we had kids with us and it would have been very long but if you have time I think is well worth to take his suggestions. Thank you Toni for a great day!
Mostar is a very special place. Would have liked to spend more time. Kravice is beautiful but over commercialized. Our guide tried his best to make our trip enjoyable
This is a recommended trip to see some of the highlights of Bosnia in a small group. Tomi picked us up and dropped us off at our accommodation and started the day at a reasonable time of 8-9am rather than the 6-7am some of these tours start. The minivan was cool and comfortable despite temps in the mid 30s. A lot of miles are covered but there are regular opportunities for water and comfort breaks. Tomi was well informed on history, local knowledge, good restaurants, and general security. The swim in the Kravica falls was a welcome relief from the bustling streets of Mostar. The small group offers a great opportunity to meet new friends. Thanks Tomi.
A perfect day trip. The driver and guide Tomi was super-nice and gentle. He gave us a lot of information about history, landscape, cities and restaurant. Everything we choose was perfect. Fare was absolutely OK. Communication between guide and us was great.
Very interesting trip to Bosnia. Long and tiring day but well worth it. Mostar was wonderful. Tomi the driver and guide was a really nice man!
It was exactly what we wanted and expected. Guide picked us up promptly, gave a constant narration on local culture, nature, politics, geography, and history n the drive to Mostar. The old town and bridges were beautiful and the guide’s recommendation for lunch was a great dive into Herzegovinian cuisine. Trip to the falls was nice and the park was beautiful.
A very long day, but very enjoyable. Just a small group so we got to know each other quite well and Tomi adjusted the schedule so we could visit more places. Highly recommend!
This tour is filled with culture. The guide was very knowledgeable and showed us so many beautiful spots for pictures and history. The tour times fit our cruise schedule, the price was perfect, the food was FANTASTIC. Tomi, our amazing driver got us back on time to our ship in Dubrovnik and even stopped to offer us some traditional pastries on the way! Perfect way to spend the day. Ask for Tomi, and everything will be great!
The tour itinerary was very well thought out and organized, with Tomi (our guide) even taking us to some extra stops. Tomi was an amazing guide - he was super knowledgeable and even gave us walking tours of the places we stopped at. He was also really thoughtful - always checking that we were comfortable during the long drives, asking if we needed bathroom breaks, and making sure we could hear him even in the back of the vehicle. He also didn't once make us feel rushed. Would definitely recommend taking this tour if you're ever in Dubrovnik!
The waterfalls are stunning - definitely not to be missed! The whole experience was very enjoyable and full of hidden gems 🤗
Wonderful experience! Lots of beautiful sites with a very knowledgeable tour guide! Tomi is wonderful, fun and very patient while answering questions! We had a great time!
Mr Tomy is a very good person. He speaks English, takes very good care of us, knows history about Dubrovnik, Mostar, Kavica Waterfall and about many other places that will come during our journey. We will always recommend him. His van was also new and very good and clean. He drives carefully.
Very good day visiting Mostar in Bosnia, Kravica Waterfalls and Pocitelj. I think it would have been nice to have a bit more time in Pocitelj and maybe to have arrived in Mostar slightly early on the back of this as it's a long drive from Dubrovnik. Maybe start the day an hour earlier would be my thoughts. Bottle of water provided, comfy vehicle and a great day on a small group tour. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to go and get a taste of Bosnia.
Bosnia was very interesting. I enjoyed the experience of visiting Bosnia and our tour guide gave me a lot of valuable historical information. Mostar was particularly interesting. The ancient Roman buildings are well worth seeing. Thank you Tomi for an enjoyable tour
Amazing experience with this tour and 100% recommended! The tour is very informative, and has a lot of knowledge. Felt very safe under his drive and he took us to stops that were not on the itinerary and we had an amazing experience. The itinerary is very good and you will not feel rushed. The scenary is amazing, you get to see so much. Guide provided us with lunch place recommendation as well as regular toilet stops. I went solo travel and had an amazing time. Obrigada Tomislav a excursão com você foi uma experiência maravilhosa! Keep up the amazing work.
We signed up for this experience not exactly sure what we were getting ourselves in to. It is a lot of driving. Like, a lot. And the roads are very windy and bumpy which meant motion sickness for some of the people on our group. But I can’t hold that against Tomi our driver. He was wonderful. Very friendly and patient with our six kids. He shared facts and stories about Bosnia throughout the trip. He was a very safe and considerate driver. He stopped when we needed a water or coffee break. He recommended an excellent restaurant in Mostar. This was the best possible way to take a day trip from Croatia into Bosnia. I’m not sure I would ever do this trip again as the motion sickness was hard for some of us, but Tomi was an excellent driver and made an excursion like this a fun and safe adventure!
We booked this trip as a family to benefit from the knowledge of the tour guide and it was well worth it. It was an excellent 12 hour sightseeing trip in an air conditioned people carrier with a number of stops - Dubrovnik bridge, ancient UNESCO grave site, Mostar, Kravica water falls and Pocitelj amongst others. Tomi was very knowledgeable pointing out various sights along the way so definitely worth it compared to just renting a car. Thank you Tomi.
We had a long, but exciting, interesting day. Toni did a great job driving us, guiding us, recommending restaurants etc and providing commentary not just on the places we visited but the country we passed and some history. Mostar is all about the bridge, a great lunch and some shopping, the waterfalls chilly water is just what you need to cool (bring togs) and all places were busy and quite vibrant. Prices in Bosnia were good too.
The falls were beautiful but Mostar was a little disappointing, even the bridge. It was summer in Europe so we undertand, but it was hot and EVERYTHING was extremely crowded. It was hard to justify a 12 hour (not kidding) bus ride for what we saw.
Waterfalls and Mostar bridge were very nice . It was a long and hot day - we still Enjoyed it . Tomi was very accommodating and his English was mostly good . Van was comfortable . . Suggestions - Hard to hear him the back . He can switch off the radio when he is speaking and speak a little Louder . 1 st stop at cafe in Neum could have been shorter with longer stop at waterfall
Great tour, but a very long day. Mostar was the highlight, with Tomi giving us a brief walking tour and recommending a (very good) restaurant for lunch, then leaving plenty of free time for us to explore. The waterfalls were a good opportunity cool off after visiting Mostar - a swim was a welcome relief after temperatures of about 42 in Mostar!
Never actually got to go on this tour. Booked to go and when selecting my hotel, I marked down "my hotel is not listed" since it wasn't and waited on the company to let me know where they'd pick me up. Didn't hear anything by the night before the tour, so decided to email the company. Had a response from Tomi that they could pick me up from near to where I was staying, at a different postcode up the road from where I was. This was fine and just to check in case they'd got the address wrong, I asked if they meant outside my address. Confirmed that no, they meant up the road from where I was staying. In the morning, I waited at where Tomi said he would stop but they didn't arrive. Tomi rang me to ask where I was and I said I was where they'd asked me to wait. As Tomi had a strong accent and it was noisy by the road, it was difficult to hear what he was saying but at no point did he decide to tell me where he actually was. He kept saying to come to the spot, not keep holding everyone up and that if I didn't get there in 5 minutes he was leaving. Confusingly when he rang me a second time he asked me to say what was near to where I was, so he could pick me up, which I did and then he replied by still telling me to get to where he was?? Tomi whatsapped me with a picture of where he was and a screenshot of a map (with no actual markings on it) and then said he'd driven off. By the time I realised where was (just outside my apartment) he'd gone. Having told me the day before he couldn't wait at my address and that he definitely meant the address he'd told me. An absolute farce and hoping to get a refund from the organiser (but not holding my breath) as Tomi was incredibly unhelpful and rude. If he's like that I can't imagine he would run the tour very well anyway as he's very disorganised and unpleasant to talk too.
An honest but flawed small group experience. Depending on who you are, this could be great or poor. Tomislav is a one man show. He’s the owner, the driver and the guide. You should be prepared for a full 12 hours, it will take at least that long. Also, the waterfall was a bit disappointing. Extremely full of tourists, borderline unpleasant. The old bridge in Mostar is the same, but the area around it is nice. The pros: He’s very knowledgeable and cares about explaining details about the region he really cares deeply about. He’s also very flexible, offering to stop at great picture spots, local shops along the way and happy to extend or shorten the experience according to the customer wishes. Crossing the border in a small group is also much faster than in a bus. Both ways. The cons: he talks very softly and therefore it is hard for folks sitting towards the back of the van to hear and understand anything. We also had concerns with his driving - he was inattentive at times, resulting in multiple hard stops and frequent lane excursions.
Had a lovely day with Tomi our guide He was very knowledgeable about his journey and point out lots of points of Interest took us to some places that were not listed on the trip which was nice enjoyed or lunch he helped choose our restaurant in Mostar for our lunch would recommend the trip it was really nice to do something different.
