This is a really cute little museum, perfect if you have a bit of time to fill, especially on a hot day. The guy who runs it gives a lovely introduction before you start. Probably only takes a maximum of an hour.
Such a cute small museum which gives you the warm and fuzzies. We loved reading about the stories related to Dubrovnik and the individual love stories. The man who welcomed us gave us a wonderful opening welcome to the museum and it’s the perfect way to immerse yourself a little more as well as escape the heat. A few people came in and left due to having to pay but we thought it was well worth it for the price
Thus museum is a gem ! Enjoyed all the fastinating exhibits and recommend this museum to all travellers in Dubrovnik. Worth finding this museum near main Pila entrance to Old Town. They also had great exhibit on Games of Thrones filmed in the city
Such a lovely place very romantic and lovely room where you can write a Post-it note and see what people have put brilliant fantastic and well wortha visit. We only managed to pop in here because it was raining before we did the city walls and it was actually one of the that really stood out about our holidays
It was an amazing and beautiful experience — I really enjoyed it with my husband. I highly recommend it! You come out of it feeling happier and more in love.
Loved our time spent in the love museum this afternoon, the guy was so welcoming and friendly. It truly is a lovely hidden gem and worth the small admission fee it charges.
Love, love, love this museum. 3 floors about love, each with a different theme. The exhibits were charming in an old school way. The top floor was FILLED with paper hearts—on the walls, the ceilings with personal messages from people who visited from all around the world. My husband and I left messages about our romance and I left a paper heart for my mom and dad too. And the darling woman at the front door took our picture in front of the museum as a memento of our visit.❤️❤️❤️
This was the most unexpected and beautiful part of my trip to Dubrovnik. The Love Stories Museum genuinely touched me. It’s quiet and unassuming, but something about it grabs your heart in the gentlest way. I cried. I smiled. I felt hope. Real stories from real people. It reminded me that love is everywhere: in heartbreak, in joy, in loss, in beginnings. Something about this place made you feel healed and less alone. If you're in Dubrovnik, don’t miss it. It stays with you forever ❤️🥰
Excellent owner, Dragan! He was very friendly and had positive vibes. Worth visiting, as another museum experience, in the name of Love, right? I loved that you could write down your own love quote/love letter to the rest of the world to read and inspire others. With love, Sony from Sweden🇸🇪
We loved visiting this little museum. It’s so beautiful and romantic. I loved reading the stories of both the city of Dubrovnik and of people. The lady running the museum was so warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend spending a quiet moment to visit.
I absolutely loved my visit to the Love Story Museum in Dubrovnik! It’s such a unique and touching place that takes you through real love stories from around the world, including some famous ones from film, history, and everyday life. Every story is carefully chosen and beautifully presented — it’s both emotional and inspiring. The museum itself is cozy, creative, and thoughtfully designed. The atmosphere is intimate, and it really makes you reflect on the beauty and complexity of love in all its forms. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. You can tell they really care about creating a warm and meaningful experience for every visitor. They were happy to answer questions and share more background about the stories and the museum itself. Whether you're visiting Dubrovnik solo, with a partner, or with friends, this little museum is absolutely worth your time. It's something different, authentic, and truly memorable. Highly recommended! 💖
It is such a charming place. The owner is vey nice as well. He was very friendly and gave us free goodies! The place is worth a visit
Just a walk round a few rooms in a house, some have photos, others a few props and there is a room full of post it notes so you can be in and out in 10 mins
Wow I saw this advertised in a bus on my travels in Dubrovnik. It was an amazing magical experience for me. I am so thrilled that I was able to experience this. It is like nothing else that I have visited on my travels through Europe. The love stories from history recent and ancient. The game of thrones display showing the buildings and how they were enhanced. The room of donations and their stories and of course all the paper hearts. I wrote one out and attached it to the hundreds of others already there. Such an amazing place.
I loved it! It was absolutley beautiful and made me feel so happy. Very cheap but even if it wasn't I would still go in. It contained famous stories, objects from peoples lives that reminded them of love and even messages from visitors. Great place to go anytime.
This is a lovely little museum off the beaten track. When we got off the bus from babin kuk at the old town there are some steps on the right. Go down the steps and follow the path. We loved the rooms filled with objects and the love stories attached from around the world. Also the room filled with heart shaped notes, you can write a note yourself too. There are a couple of great selfie opportunities before you go up the stairs and on the top floor. The lady working there was lovely too and we came away with a free postcard. We got a reduction on the ticket price with a dubrovnik pass. Warms the cockles of your heart.
This was a feel-good place to visit! Separated between three floors with different aspects of love and love stories the tour does not take too long, but will set a smile on your face. :)
Cute place, ticket was 9e/person. But small. And quite hot and humid. If you enjoy love stories and are willing to read in English, it's cute
This little museum was so wholesome and lovely to walk around. It made you appreciate love with statements from people about their relationships while also having people’s personal memorabilia. The host was so nice and passionate about what he does! The little rooms at the top where you could write on a heart was such a nice idea! Loved it all and worth the money 😊
The staff was really nice. At the end, if you want to, you can write on a heart shaped paper a letter (about love, your crush, your lover and who you love) and stick it with a pin on the walls.
loved this place so sweet and really loved reading all the special stories about all the love stories around the world 🌎
Amazing stories of love. And it keeps evolving . “ What the world needs now is love sweet love”JL❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇭🇷
Me and my wife stayed for a week in Croatia for our honeymoon. We couldn't recommend this place enough. We definitely enjoyed this place the most. The man was so helpful and friendly while he was talking us at the start he gave us a bottle of water each and a fan to cool down. He showed us pictures on the wall one was the most romantic spot in Dubrovnik. Upstairs we seen people's belongings and stories related to the item it was very interesting also upstairs you can write your own personal message on a paper heart and pin it to the wall. There's also a spot to take selfies which is also really cool. 10/10 experience
This is such a sweet and hopeful experience! There are love stories from the past as well as the present! So many interesting things to learn about love and relationships!
This is a perfect little museum filled with amazing, beautiful stories of love from around the world. The owner is lovely and welcoming and began our experience with showing us the iconic love locations and stories behind them from Dubrovnik, as well as running out to get us tradition Croatian candy. It brought tears and joy to all in my friend group and was one of the highlights of our trip to Dubrovnik I would highly recommend this experience!!
Lovely little museum to visit. Host was very accommodating and friendly. We loved the displays and left our name in the love heart room upstairs. Definitely worth a visit as great value for money.
Lovely museum to pass a little bit of spare time if you have it. The lady at the door is so sweet. Leave a little message of your own on the walls and read other love stories
What a sweet small museum about love stories in Dubrovnik and around the world. I loved that there was a room where you could add your own love story to rooms FILLED with hearts detailing the stories of visitors from all over the world!
It was gorgeous. Really good stories and it makes you feel a certain way. The owner was so generous and nice. You could tell he cared about the museum and it is a really lovely way to spend an hour or two just outside the old town. The interactive bits are fun too (leaving your own note etc) and it was really uplifting to see the messages people had left.
Glad my husband and I took a quick stop to this wonderful little museum. It wont take too much of your time but it really helps you reflect on the love in your life. The owner was very kind and appreciated.
I really enjoyed my visit to this little museum! I visited Love Stories just after visiting the War Photos gallery and it really did give some lighthearted relief from some of the heavy themes earlier. The owner was lovely and gave the warmest welcome, and I especially enjoyed reading the messages people had left in the room covered in sticky notes. Well worth a visit!
Beautiful little museum, the first floor had a few interesting local stories but the second floor with personal stories was the one to really tug at the heart strings, I will admit to some (happy) tears being shed. I appreciate in a world where museums often allude to a lot of the atrocities committed by various groups that a lighter museum like this exists.
The owner was incredibly nice. He offered some interesting insights on his favorite love stories. We enjoyed the visit, especially the room upstairs where you could leave a note which we found very cute.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Love Stories Museum! Dragen was incredibly hospitable and took the time to share some stories that haven’t yet made it to the museum. Highly recommend taking an hour to explore the museum before dinner date!
This was the cutest museum we have ever been to! Especially in contrast to the other museum we visited in Croatia, the museum of broken relationships. The owner personally explains the concept and welcomes you with open arms. This was a lovely hour spent! :)
Interesting concept to ignite a spark in the people visiting the museum. The owner explained me that they opened this place to inspire people and bring positive vibes! There are lot of bad news everywhere, what we need is light and love. Take your time to read each story, they are really inspiring! At the end of your visit you can share your story too. Extra tip: eat on the restaurant that is just beside the beach (ORHAN). Great views!
This museum is an interesting little find. You could spend a few minutes here or longer. The staff were very friendly and informative. I would recommend as a different thing to do as a tourist while in Dubrovnik. Contribute your own message at the end to add to the wall.
It was a really nice experience. The exhibits were interesting and the host helpful. I am glad we visited.
Museum was lovely - especially the final few rooms where people from all over the world had left message of love. No queue at all when we were there, and the lady who served us was unsure about the online booking we previously had. If visiting Dubrovnik and you fancy something different I would definitely recommend, but no need to book in advance.
If you have a love story with love like me you will absolutely adore this overcute museum ❤ Meilleur souvenir de Dubrovnik !
Great and interesting concept. The owner-guide is a great enthusiast, warm and helpful, full of interesting stories. I would definitely recommend a visit ...
Cute concept. Warm & enthusiastic owner/guide. Give yourself half an hour for this museum. Warm recommendation.
Super friendly staff, gave us a warm welcome and gave us some postcards and a discount of 10% for a local restaurant as we left. The museum shares some lovely stories and facts about Dubrovnik, if you go you will enjoy walking around with your other half and feel the good vibes.
Great little museum of love stories with information on some particularly famous couples of the Dubrovnik area (local or visiting). We especially appreciated the personnel kindness and jokes and the free bottle of water in the Dubrovnik heat. The small rooms with hundreds of hearts on which couples or individual people left their messages made the whole uniquely interactive. The visit indeed made me leave the building with a big smile on my face.
An adorable little museum not far from the old town center with a fair ticket price; suggested for every person who wants be inspired from love, at least for a while! Lovely atmosphere.
Loving this museum, i wasn't aware of this concept and thanks to this place i discovered a great line of museums/exhibitions.
This was such a cute little museum, and nice to see after also visiting the Museum of Broken Relationships in Zagreb, Croatia. I loved the different exhibits (television, music, etc) and that unique items from relationships are featured-- and that the exhibits change regularly with new submissions! My favorite was the souvenir mug from Dorel in Estonia.
This little lovely museum is a special one. We enjoyed both - reading about live Stories of famous people as such as the personal love stories of people all over the world. Love is universale - live is unique! Really great and also the lady who hosted the museum is a lovely person. She offered us cold water while it was really hot that day. Thanks to the museum!
Incredible experience at the Love stories museum! The personal stories are very cute and the host is such a nice and inspiring person. It was great to meet him and visit this cute and interesting museum! I was feeling emotional at the end! Thank you so much!!
