Private Tour: Sarajevo Day Trip From Dubrovnik

Great day exploring with igor we were able to bounce around and maximize our day trip and see as much as we possibly could

A must do trip. We got to see all the main sites along the way and the rich history of the country. All explained and under the care of our excellent driver Najan. Absolute credit to the company who looked after us all and gave us tips and insights into the entire region.

Mostar old town was a beautiful place to visit with gorgeous craft items for sale and a lot of luxury brands knock offs. Sarajevo reminded us a lot of Istanbu. we were able to get authentic lokum and great local cuisine. The burek at Sač was amazing. The biggest surprise was the amazing beauty of the Bosnia & Herzegovina countryside. Our guide Nenad was excellent. He was very personable and willing to tailor the tour to our wants and needs. He entertained us with jokes and local "sayings" and educated us about Bosnia & Herzegovina. His nimble driving got us to and from our destination quickly and safely.

Fascinating trip with a very knowledgeable driver. Sarajevo was extremely interesting. I hope to be able to return.

Amazing tour. Me and my family were the only one in the tour and the tour guide/driver Marin was amazing. He took us to Mostar and Sarajevo. On the way, he gave history of the area and was very friendly. He gave us enough time at each location to walk around, eat food and recommended the places to visit in the area. We went during start of peak season, so we were lucky at the border crossing and there were no lines. I heard that during peak season, there are long delays at the border crossings. Weather was perfect - not to hot and it stopped raining after we started from Dubrovnik. Overall, amazing road trip to Mostar snd Sarajevo except for the long drive, it is worth experiencing.

Was listed to include luxury tour around Sarajevo Instead the guide said you can’t see anything by vehicle and proceeded to drop us off and pick us up later—not a tour at all. He should have at least walked around with us to explain what we were seeing. Very disappointing. Won’t make that mistake again. I even showed him what the trip was advertised to include and he kind of shrugged that off and told us where he would meet us later. Did the same thing in Mostar.

<p>Ivan was an absolute professional. His presentation background knowledge and ability to answer all our questions thoroughly was much appreciated. A safe competent driver. He also took the time to recommend and buy some local food for us in Sarajevp. A long day but well worth it with bonus time in Mostar. Well done Ivan credit to your profession</p>

<p>This was such a pleasurable tour, so informative and wide ranging. We were really impressed with our Driver/Guide Ivan! He was extremely knowledgable on any subject, making sure we received a full breadth of history about the region. Discussing the food traditions, wine making, fruit growing, making sure we tasted the specialties in the area like Burek, Chevarpi and of course the war. We had free time to discover Sarajevo. All this in a comfortable car too.<br/> I would highly recommend this tour! It was excellent!</p>

<p>This was a long! day. Tour should have started very early in the morning considering on how far we had to travel. We unfortunately got stuck in line at the border. This further delayed things by an hour. It was great to stop in Mostar for a quick tour and look. We drove directly to Sarajevo and met with the local tour. The tour was very good but it was fast as we wanted to get through things in order to hit the road to get home. Sarejevo really just gave us the downtown highlights. I think doing an overnight in Sarajevo would be better. Great to see, but the tour was just too rushed!</p>

<p>My tour to Sarejevo was wonderful. The two guides - one from Dubrovnik and the other in Sarejevo were very knowledgeable and had interesting stories to tell,. In particular my guide in Sarejevo was well versed in the history and restoration of Sarejevo. He was also very considerate of my need to rest occasionally and to walk a slower pace.</p>

<p>Our driver was Ivan, and he was awesome. The vehicle was very nice, his driving was safe and efficient, but most importantly, he had a detailed knowledge of the region's geography and history.</p>

<p>Our tour was amazing! It began with a great driver and a very knowledgeable guide in Dubrovnik. She was full of information/history of the entire area. When we got to Sarajevo we had a different guide show us around the city, he too was amazing. I would highly recommend this tour. He selected the perfect place for lunch which we saw later on the Travel Channel, amazing. Bosnia is beautiful and still recovering. I would love to go back and explore more, visit Mostar and tour more areas of Sarajevo.</p>

<p>Really enjoyed it.!! Driver is very good but drives fast. Know he is capable but what worries me always are the other drivers. Surely, if he drove the speed limit we would have been FOREVER on the road.</p>

<p>This was the best tour I've been on! Our guide, Vlado, was fantastic! He was so funny and open. He helped to put the history of the area into perspective, and he gave us a good background on where we were. It was interesting to see Sarajevo and the drive was beautiful. I would strongly recommend this tour.</p>

<p>One of the best tours I have ever gone on. Marija our guide was great - very informative, superb sense of humor. I definitely recommend going up to Sarajevo - a unique and very interesting place. We easily did it in one day - although it is a very busy day. The driver was also fantastic - very good and the car was great too. I give it an A+!</p>

Long trip (14 hours) but super interesting. Bo was an interesting guide. He spoke to us in French almost all the time. Excellent driver. Very clean and comfortable car. A nice way to see Mostar and Sarajevo (two interesting cities) and return to our accommodation in the same day.

It was a very interesting and intense day, we learned a lot and had excellent guidance from Milko. We highly recommend it. We are very grateful to Milko for his attention, guidance and company. Excellent tour!
