We had an outstanding private day trip from Dubrovnik to Mostar. Marijan was our guide and driver and he was terrific. He gave us a ton of information about everywhere we went and was super friendly and knowledgeable. He recommended a great place for lunch in Mostar and took great care of us all day.

Our driver Boris made the trip, he was amazing! It was very cool to see the different cultures and religions all displayed in the architecture of the area.

The trip from our ship into Croatia and Bosnia was so beautiful, we could not stop saying how awesome the landscape was. Our driver, Marian, was superb. He was so knowledgeable and polite and professional. We enjoyed our day so much.

It's hard to imagine a better guide than Marijan, who took us to Ston, Mostar and the Kravica waterfall. He was highly knowledgable, interesting and friendly, and he made this tour insightful and fascinating.

Igor was our guide, he was so helpful and informational! Our experience would not have been the same without his help. We had a group of 6 and he accomodated our requests for frequent rest room and cappicino stops. If Igor recommends a restaurant, go there. If he recommends an item on the menu, order it. Our guide, Boris, was amazing. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of our day trip from Dubrovnik to Mostar. He was a wealth of knowledge about the history of the area, and seemed to know people everywhere we went. He introduced us to incredible locals and cuisines. We could not recommend him more highly.

We took a full day tour to Mostar from Dubrovnik with Boris. He was wonderful in communicating our pick up point and pre-planning. He arrived on time with a clean and comfortable van. The ride to Mostar was approx 2.5/3 hours in which he gave us background info on the country, war, politics and anything else we asked about. He’s quite friendly and knowledgeable. We first stopped to see the Kravica waterfall and enjoyed a break and coffee there. We visited for about an hour and a half. We then proceeded to Mostar. Once in Mostar, we stopped for a few pictures and then had lunch at a restaurant he arranged for us in the heart of things. The food at this restaurant (wish I could remember the name) was my favorite meal on the trip! We ordered the national platter (had a little of everything) as well as other tasting platters. After lunch we watched someone dive from the bridge, followed by time to walk around town and see the 400+ year old mosque. Boris took great pictures of us throughout. On the way back we had an option to see an old Turkish built town but everyone was too tired. We returned to Dubrovnik by 8:30pm. Boris was a huge part of the success and enjoyment of the day! He made sure everything was well planned, smooth and fun! He even moved our tour around the weather as it was a rainy day!

Boris made our trip so special! He was so knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and culture. Mostar was absolutely beautiful and Boris made sure we saw all of the best parts. This was one of our favorite days of our vacation! Highly recommend!

We spent 3 days in Dubrovnik and took 3 tours with Dubrovnik Top tours (Mostar, Montenegro and Dubrovnik walking tour). We were assigned Boris for those tours. I would venture to label him Mr Dubronik or Mr Croatia!. Boris is a fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge of history. He practically knows everyone on the street or more accurately stated, a lot of people know him. We had a very enjoyable time with him. We learnt a lot and saw the charm of Croatia. We never ran out of conversation. He can talk for hours on anything!. He was also very punctual and was also very flexible throughout those 3 days. Booking the tours was a breeze and Ivana who manages the company was very professional and prompt. I would give the highest rating for tours offered by Dubrovnik Top Tours. I highly recommend them.

What a day! Our guide Marijan was fantastic. He had so much knowledge about the region and made it entertaining for all of us, including our teen. We made a lot stop in Ston to see the salt works, and got to climb the old watchtower of this little town in Bosnia. Amazing views and a real taste of history. He took us around Mostar and then let us have some time to ourselves to explore the city. On the way back we went to Kravica Falls for some time swimming in the (chilly) waters. A long day but a lot of fun and really interesting way to see another country as well. Great tour.

This was an excellent experience and highly recommend for a family with children. We were able to visit several different sites and locations in Bosnia from Dubrovnik during a heat wave (40+). With the flexibility of the tour we were able to see everything and at our own pace and it really added to our enjoyment. Our driver/guide was an enthusiastic wealth of information and one of the highlights of the experience. Every stop was a highlight unto itself - Mostar, Ston, the Salt mining operation, the Mosque and Fortress, lunch, and of course the waterfalls.

Our driver was fantastic! He talked about the history and current issues of the areas we visited. He gave us the option to spend as much time as we wanted at every stop and gave recommendations on what to do. He made sure we had time to visit Medugorje.

The trip was 80% car ride so I did not know how I would feel about that but Boris was such a lovely person and he was able to tell us so much about the country that the time flew by. This tour is a must if visiting Mostar & its nearby towns as a day trip from Dubrovnik. Our guide, Marijan, was truly above and beyond! Not only did he ensure our comfort throughout the trip, but the wealth of information that he shared made the tour all the more meaningful.

Avoided so many obstacles with the border, would recommend! We traveled as a family with young kids and we were thankful to have booked this tour, it saved us a lot of time and effort When crossing multiple borders.

I can hardly summon up the superlatives to convey what an outstanding day trip this was and to recommend this company to you more highly. My husband, teenage son and I had the most wonderful time with our fabulous guide, Boris. He picked us up from our apartment in Cavtat at 8am and we were out well into the evening - he amazed us with his energy and enthusiasm, right to the end of the day. He took great care of us and, although it was a bit of a journey to get there, it flew by with his interesting - and often, amusing - tales along the way. He was really kind to my son and made a real effort to engage him in conversation and keep him entertained. Boris was a super-safe driver and we travelled in comfort in his air-conditioned vehicle. The temperature in Mostar was over 40 degrees but completely bearable when you could cool down with the air-con afterwards. We loved Mostar and were delighted to find that Boris had organised a special walking tour with Emir, an exceptionally eloquent Mostar local, who showed us the city - all parts, not just the more touristy part around the bridge - and explained so much about the history and character of the region. We felt really honoured to spend time with him and can hardly stop thinking about the information he shared with us. After our tour, Boris had organised a lovely lunch at Sadrvan, where we enjoyed sharing the Bosnian 'national plate' in a cool, shady courtyard. After time to browse for souvenirs, we set off to the Kravica waterfalls where we had a great time cooling down with a swim by the falls. After we had spent the time we wanted to there, we drove back to Ston in Croatia and had an opportunity to walk a section of the wall, before Boris recommended a beautiful seafood restaurant where we were able to sample the incredibly fresh shellfish, collected locally. Saying goodbye to Boris, later that evening, literally felt like saying farewell to a good friend - he was an amazing ambassador for Croatia and we loved his pride in his country and the wealth of information he shared - we couldn't imagine meeting a nicer guide, to be honest. If you are thinking about a day trip from the Dubrovnik area, this is the company to opt for - it was such a highlight of our holiday! We took a private guided tour with Boris while in Dubrovnik. Our group was 4 women and we had an amazing time. Boris is so nice and entertained us for the entire drive on the history of Croatia and the region we were going through as well as many funny stories which had us laughing along the way. Our first stop was in Mostar and it was great having him along. He knew everyone and where was the best place to eat and shop. I also felt more comfortable having him as a guide as Mostar was a little challenging culturally. But absolutely beautiful city and well worth the visit. We also visited Kravice waterfalls which was beautiful. On the way back we stopped in the town of Ston and walked the walls and learned all about salt. All in all Boris made it one of the best days of our trip. I highly recommend yours with Boris and his family.

I'm so glad we had an extra day in Dubrovnik! The day trip to Bosnia added so much dimension to our stay in Croatia. Marijan was a wealth of knowledge putting together all the pieces we'd learned about his marvelous country as he drove us to the highlights. Don’t even think about going with another company. We almost did but the other place canceled on us so we gave Dubrovnik Top Tours a call and booked a Mostar tour right away to replace the cancellation. Dubrovnik Top Tours is the only way to go! With the wonderful Boris as our guide, my husband and I enjoyed the day trip to Mostar. Boris will educate you about Croatia and the city of Mostar as you enjoy the scenery along the way. Boris knew many of the locals while we toured the city. You can tell that he loves meeting people and values the relationships that are made. The tour guide was amazing- he customized the level of attention and intensity to our traveling styles. Not only could he tell what we wanted to see, but how we preferred to see them. Montenegro is beautiful. His knowledge and experience made the border crossings very easy, which maximized our time.

Overall, the trip was worth every penny. I cannot recommend taking the private tour enough, especially with our driver, Marijin. He was extremely knowledgeable on the sites and was very accommodating. We did everything that was listed in the tour & more. If you want to see the highlights of Bosnia in a day, take this tour. Amazing trip! Beautiful Kravice waterfalls and Mostar. Fantastic location and history. Border control was OK and not too long. Approximately 2.5hrs drive from Old Town Dubrovnik but totally worth it.

We were picked up on time by Igor who was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, great fun and well organized. His car was very comfortable, and air conditioned so as we had a 39C day it was much appreciated. All our border crossings were made easy by Igor and as I’d read reviews about how long it could take I was happy with our 5 minute stops. The trip is a very long drive but worth it. So much beauty as well as sadness.

although the day was hot our guide was excellent in keeping us cool and happy; he was respectful of our family dynamics and was sensitive to our needs through out

We took a day trip with a family of 8 to Mostar and Montenegro with Igor. The first trip we took was to Montenegro and the second was to Mostar. We will be going on another tour tomorrow because we have enjoyed the tours with Igor so much. We felt very safe and Igor was so accommodating, fun, knowledgeable, flexible, and laid back. We really enjoyed his company and couldn’t believe how much he knew about Croatia, Bosnia, and Montenegro. Igor really tailored the trips to our different preferences and needs. I really enjoyed all of the tours we took during our 3 weeks in Europe. Unfortunately our group really didn't think this tour was a winner. Our guide was great....really nice and informative about the history and current climate in Croatia! We really liked him! The drive to Mostar was slow and timely, with long waits at the border. The bridge was beautiful and it was exciting to see the divers, but Mostar was small, SUPER crowded and ultimately just underwhelming. We did have a great lunch with amazing views, but it was really far to go and we all agreed we would not have gone had we known the outcome.

<p>Our tour guide was Igor, and he was absolutely awesome! Very knowledgeable and friendly gave us lots of leeway on the different things we would do on our tour. Stopped off at a small bakery and advised us on some local treats, showed us some local fruit stands, made excellent recommendations at the restaurant we stopped at for lunch, and was a lovely conversationalist to boot! Would highly recommend this tour.</p>
