Please don’t pass up this incredible, culturally rich experience in Montenegro. We had an unexpected delay when our cruise ship made a last-minute stop to help a medically distressed passenger, which pushed our arrival into port back significantly. Despite the sudden change, the communication with the tour company was kind, flexible, and incredibly patient. They stayed in touch frequently and adjusted plans smoothly, which we truly appreciated. We were blown away by the hospitality and the depth of local culture shared with us. The food in Montenegro is absolutely amazing — and the locally cured hams are unforgettable! You can truly taste the tradition and care that goes into them. Kotor itself is a gem — historically rich, breathtakingly beautiful, and full of character. We were left wanting more and are already dreaming about returning to explore even deeper. Highly recommend this tour and this company — they go above and beyond to make your visit to Montenegro something truly special.

Barbara was a brilliant guide for our Dubrovnik walking tour - we learnt so much about not only the city itself, but also about daily life which was fascinating. Barbara was so lovely and engaging and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. Topped off a fabulous tour with a drink at a lovely cafe. The tour itself is mainly on the flat so no issues with too many steps!! Would definitely recommend.

We booked this through trip advisor who allocated Viator for the tour. They gave us Desa. Desa is local to the old town, in fact grew up there. We could not have asked for more. Desa is passionate about history and in fact is an educated historian. We are a couple in our fifties and don’t do crowds but want to learn about the history of the places we visit. Desa was perfect for us, lots of interesting history, we stayed away from the crowds and had a fantastic 2 hours. Great way to see the old town and get your bearings with an excellent guide. Thank you Desa.

Our day in Dubrovnik was towards the end of our 12-day cruise, so we were pretty tired and hot by this point in our vacation. Our guide, Vesna, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She showed us several sights off the beaten track, even pointing out the house she grew up in! She took us to an incredible view from, get this - a basketball court! It's the basketball court with the best view in the world, according to the WSJ...and I can see why. She was very good about keeping us in the shade as much as possible for my fair-skinned husband. And she brought us to a gelato place to try the local bitter orange flavor - yum! We learned a lot about the history of Croatia and Dubrovnik in particular, and what it was like growing up and living there. She took some great pictures of the two of us, which I very much appreciate. During our tour, we came across a bird that looked unable to fly. So she picked it up and moved it to higher ground. We took a few pictures - it turns out that the bird is protected, which we learned when she posted the picture online and Animal Protection reached out to locate it for protection!

She was not only available for the tour but also beforehand with restaurant recommendations, coffee recommendations, and even days after the tour for suggestions. Whether you are a Game of Thrones fan or just want to learn and the history of the Old City, you should book with Karmen!! 10/10 recommend!!

Karmen was absolutely fantastic! She went above and beyond to help us have the best experiences. We booked a private tour with her, especially because my partner has walking difficulties. Karmen was very flexible and adjusted the tour according to our needs. She's very knowledgeable and passionate about her job. She left us wanting to know more about Dubrovnik. In particular, she researched accessible areas for us, supported us with mobility, gave us good advice on where to eat and drink, shared the bus schedule with us from where we were staying to get into the Old Town, and shared details for a paint and wine experience. Karmen was inclusive and spoke directly to my partner, who was in a wheelchair (unfortunately, this doesn't always happen). She also has a great sense of humour. Overall, she exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend her!

She went above and beyond the tour by providing us with information with things to do over the next few days. She sent me links to restaurants and suggested places and towns to stop on our road trip to Split. I promise you will not be disappointed with this tour. She bought my husband some coffee and me some delicious gelato. I feel like I know so much about Dubrovnik after this tour. Mia was truly a delight.

I had an incredible experience today with my tour guide, who exceeded all my expectations. She was everything the description promised and more. Her deep knowledge of Old Town Dubrovnik was truly impressive. As we made our way through the streets, she pointed out breathtaking views and hidden details of the city that would’ve been easy to overlook. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide, and though I regret forgetting her name I'm pretty sure it was Alina she made the history of this remarkable city come alive. I’d give this tour 10 stars if I could, and I highly recommend both the tour and the guide.

Jardanka showed us Dubrovnik old town in a way that we could appreciate her town without being overwhelmed with history. She pointed out the less obvious things around old town away from the crowds. Mia was great about contacting us immediately upon our reservation and again shortly before we arrived. On our one day in Dubrovnik we met Mia and got her unique perspective along with some ancient and recent history of the city. She is very energetic and upbeat, intelligent and easy to talk with. I saw another review on the withlocals site that mentioned croissants so I noted that my husband really liked chocolate croissants and she did bring us some fantastic treats!! Aside from the sugar, we enjoyed our time with Mia very much.

We had an amazing private tour of Old Town Dubrovnik with Karmen. Karmen was friendly and knowledgeable. Karmen showed us cool lesser known spots in the Old Town, as well as all the main sightseeing spots. Karmen also offered helpful tips for our trips to Mt.
