Very well organized tour. Mostly writing this review to highlight our tour guide, Gabriel. He was an amazing tour guide. He made the trip on the road much better by sharing stories, history, and humor. The tour itself is a must-do if you have 3+ days in Dubrovnik. Perast and Kotor are beautiful. We were picked up at our hotel. 2 hours in the comfortable 8 seater each way. Our tour was in October, so the border crossing was about 10 minutes, but during the summer this can take a lot longer! There were only 4 people in our group which was nice. Definetely recommend this tour company and especially Gabiel, Thank you!
Great trip - what a beautiful country Gabriel was a fantastic tour guide- hidden jewel in the middle of the Adriatic
Definitely select this option for a day trip to Montenegro. Plenty of time in Kotor and Perast. Gabriel - our driver and tour guide - was super amazing. Very approachable, and quite knowledgeable about both Croatia and Montenegro.
The tour was an amazing experience to go and see the bay of Kotor in Montenegro, with stunning mountain views and a scenic and idle view of the bay. Gabriel was an excellent tour guide, who was informative, knowledgable and very friendly and provided us with a lot of fun facts about the region and made the day that much better. He also provided us with places to visit and a good idea about where to eat and his recommendation was spot on and we had a great lunch overlooking the bay. Kotor was a decent visit but Perast was more appealing in my opinion.
Great experience; Phillippe (tour guide) Gabriel (driver ) were wonderful ! On time and super friendly.
Spectuclar Scenery. An experience not to be missed Excellent Driver and guide. Well worth visiting. Weather perfect.
Philip was informative and friendly. He managed the time well and we saw amazing views. Kotor is beautiful.
I had heard rave reviews about Amico Tours and as a result chose this tour. What a fabulous day! The tour was exactly as listed - small group (there were 6 of us), and the itinerary was followed as planned. The amount of time we had at each location was perfect. We had Filip as our driver and guide and he was excellent and was conscientious and responsible and took care of our safety and comfort. He also knew which route to take to avoid lengthy waits at the border. A very enjoyable day indeed. I would not hesitate to recommend Amico Tours to my friends.
The tour to Kotor and Perast was absolutely perfect! Gabriel, Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the history, and the culture. He gave was great pointers on where the best picture location s were and whst local foods to try. I would recommend this trip to anyone.
Phillip was a great host for the day Super knowledgeable and very friendly Kotor gorgeous, despite the rain
The weather was perfect and Phillip our guide is so passionate about Montenegro that it rubs off on you. Beautiful and amazing drive. Montenegro is a must see. So happy we got Phillip to share his personal experiences and knowledge of Montenegro. I highly recommend!! Thanks for the wonderful day trip!! Loved it!!
Gabriel was wonderful The weather was awful torrential rain all day but he made the trip fun and interesting We has plenty of time in the two cities in Montenegro and he imparted lots of useful information Good sense of humor and lots of interesting knowledge Thoroughly recommended.
This tour was fantastic and so worth it! Phillip the tour guide was a wealth of knowledge, was so nice, an excellent driver, and looked after everyone very well! Perast and the island church was amazing. We arrived there ahead of the crowds which made the day work very well! Kotor and its history was incredible! Phillip shared the map of Kotor ahead of time explaining what we could do while there so that we made best use of our time.
Dora was great , the places we went to were not too crowded she explained every stop and places we should try and see. Drinks on board, personally wish we coulda spent more time in caves but laying on beach wasn’t too bad. Service on the beach not great there a lot of ppl was hard to get one single drink but they had no control over that , but overall great experience
Brilliant day trip to beautiful Montenegro from Dubrovnik. Our group of 4 booked the semi-private minibus trip (which can take up to 8 people, but we had it to ourselves). The communication from the tour company was very good, the minibus was comfortable and air-conditioned, and our driver, Filip, was very professional and, as a native Montenegrin, his pride and knowledge of his country was a real asset and made our trip even more enjoyable. Montenegro has some of the most spectacular scenery. We took many photos of Kotor Bay and the Our Lady of the Rocks islet. The old town of Kotor was also very photogenic, and we had a really lovely lunch at a restaurant in the main square and enjoyed watching the local cats, which are synonymous with the town. We returned to Dubrovnik via Bosnia to avoid long border control queues from Montenegro to Croatia, which gave us the opportunity to appreciate even more of the beautiful countryside. Would highly recommend this trip!
