What an incredible private tour of the beautiful walled city of Dubrovnik! We gladly walked the 1080 stairs eagerly hanging on to every word our tour guide Femica spoke. It wasn’t all GOT as she spoke of the history of the city, the many owners and the war in 1991.

Fantastic tour. Ines was great. It had been a while since we watched the series and she had lots of pictures of various scenes to help jog our memory plus help us compare how they modified the look of the city in the series vs what's actually there. She knew someone who worked on the set and was also able to share some anecdotes about certain scenes/actors which added to the fun of the information received. This was a great way to visit several spots of Dubrovnik while getting some information about Game of Thrones. This was also only our second time opting to book a private walking tour rather than a group one and the ability to be able to have an ongoing conversation with our guide and ask a lot of questions was fantastic. Will definitely consider going the private route again for future bookings. Very happy with the experience overall. The only thing I'm sad about is that I completely forgot to go back to the souvenir shop to grab a picture on the iron throne! We did not have the time to stop during the tour and it simply slipped my mind after. Did not put a damper on the tour itself though, which I highly recommend.

This was a great tour to combine Game of Thrones with some history of the city. Our guide clearly loves and takes pride in Dubrovnik and had some great insights about the GOT cast, filming etc. Great tour!

The Dubrovnik Game of Thrones tour was the highlight of our entire trip. Mihaela was an absolute joy! She had so much knowledge of the city’s history and Game of Thrones and brought it together beautifully. Great conversation when we sat and enjoyed a drink along the way. 10/10 would recommend!

Our 2 drivers picked us up and dropped us off at the port. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time and learned a ton about Zadar’s history. Well worth the money we spent. 4 adults and 3 teens.

We did the city walls tour with Mihaela and it was the most amazing experience of the Dubrovnik trip. The tour was very well structured, was insightful and super fun. Mihaela was fantastic as our guide! She communicated quickly via email when setting everything up as well as when we arrived! As fans of GOT her knowledge and use of pictures from the filming really added to our tour! As a native of Dubrovnik she made the whole tour so interesting! Mihaela was an outstanding tour guide. We have had many tours with Viator and this one ranks right at the top. Mihaela arrived early and was more-than-prepared with pictures and a myriad of stories relating to the filming of "Game of Thrones" as well as the history of Dubrovnik and Croatia. She was generous with her time and information. Mihaela is a certified tour guide and speaks fluent English. On a side note, when we arrived for our tour, we were very agitated because my husband had just lost his wallet. Clearly, we were concerned. Since she speaks the native language (as well as English and Spanish), Mihaela offered to call our Uber driver from the evening before to see if we had left it in the car. After the tour, she was on her way to visit the restaurant we had been to the night before to again check with them. And, she was going to check with a central Dubrovnik lost-and-found to see if the wallet had been turned in. Mihaela was sincerely concerned for us and was doing all she could to help us locate this wallet with our credit cards and IDs. Fortunately, we did locate our wallet at our hotel right after our tour and so we contacted her to let her know all was well. Both my husband and I were so impressed with her genuine kindness to us as visitors to her country. She not only provided an outstanding tour, she impressed us with her hospitality and gracious concern for us. We have several friends planning trips to Dubrovnik and we will be recommending Mihaela to them!

This was an excellent tour! Climbing the walls wasn't difficult. Mihaela was very detailed about the history of the city and she was very funny as well. I learned so many interesting and surprising things about Dubrovnik. Bonus - we met the cat Wallie!! Soooo Adorable 😍. This was a wonderful way to spend my afternoon! Recommended!

Mihaela, with Astra Tours Dubrovnik, was absolutely wonderful! She arrived promptly and kept our walking tour at a manageable pace. Her knowledge of both Dubrovnik's history and culture gave us a great understanding of this ancient port. Mihaela also speaks English fluently! Since we took the Game of Thrones tour, Mihaela's expertise of the filming locations and corresponding photos made the sites meaningful. On a personal note, we had lost a wallet just before the tour and were a little distracted. She helped us contact our Uber driver and previous restaurant from the evening before. We had Michaela as our guide and she knows how to lead a group! She mixed this tour with her personal view, family stories and was super honest about everything. We booked another tour and this was a perfect combo! You get to see all the main locations from Game of Thrones and Mihaela was spectacular. This tour was more than a GOT tour … Mihaela also shared many interesting stories of life in Dubrovnik and its history as we walked through Old Town. She is personable, very knowledgeable, and passionate about her city of Dubrovnik. From the moment the four of us met Mihaela, we were immediately comfortable with her, she is easy to be with, and by the end of our tour, we felt we had made a friend. At the end of our tour she accepted our invitation to join us at a cafe for a cold drink. She is also a wealth of info about restaurant and other recommendations. This Dubrovnik tour was a major highlight of our trip and Mihaela contributed “greatly” to that experience.

This tour was one of the highlights of our Mediterranean cruise! Instead of the Viking wall walk or city tour, we opted to combine the two with GOT background in a private tour for four of us! Michaela answered our questions promptly as we booked and was waiting at the port gate at 8:30 to drive us to Old Town early in order to beat the heat and the crowds. She then gave us an informative, facinating tour that included history of the fort, the bay, Old Town, and the City Walls along with pictures of GOT scenes, stories of filming and the effects on Dubrovnik, and interesting background on the actors! Michaela's outgoing personality, love of Dubrovnik, and knowledge of GOT made the experience even more enjoyable! Do not hesitate to book this private tour! It was perfect in every way!

Mihaela was a wonderful tour guide! When I had booked the tour, I wasn't sure about what time we should be meeting up, and at first we agreed on 8:30am, but then I read about how crowded (and hot!) it gets, the later you walk the walls. Mihaela kindly agreed to meet us at 7:30am and we had such a great experience. She had photos and detailed information on the Game of Thrones actors, and how HBO came to film their show, and intermingled with local knowledge about Dubrovnik. She's a gem and I highly recommend this tour for any GOT fans!

Mihaela is very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. we booked the wall tour with her, gave us plenty of time to take pictures, explained very well every part of the tour. after the wall, she was nice taking us to a local restaurant for some delicious local food. After lunch my friend and I we were very impressed and pleased with the your that we asked Mihaela if she was available more another one. happily she accepted and gave us the GOT tours. I must say it, you have to contact her if you're in town, you will make a Croatian friend for life!!

I’ve decided to go for a tour in Dubrovnik, being a local, trying to spend some past time in the Old Town. Dubrovnik was always our favourite city. We are big GOT fans and since we have already done a history tour it was time for this one. Perfect combination of history, GOT, Old town and City Walls. Her passion for Dubrovnik was the highlight of this tour and patience. Plus we were on a private tour so there was enough time for break, questions, photos and even coffee ;) City Walls are stunning, every single stone you see. We got to see House of the Undying too. I did this tour with my wife and it was amazing. This was our second time in Dubrovnik and we wanted to try Game of Thrones tour. Our guide Mihaela was AMAZING! She is a young and passionate local guide who showed us all the best GOT and historical spots (my wife is more a history fan). Mihaela had great energy and was really knowledgeable.
