Private 3-hour Game Of Thrones Tour In Dubrovnik With City Walls

We met Mihaela at the square after the driver had brought us from the Port. We toured the fortress and walls (both an extra charge, but worth it) and walked through Old Town. We saw sights from GOT and also learned general history as my husband never saw the show and could care less about that part. The views from above are spectacular and if you can do the stairs and the 1.3 mile walk around the walls, do it!!

We booked this private tour for our party of five (three adults, a 13-year-old, and a 9-year-old) while visiting Dubrovnik on a cruise, and it was the absolute amazing. What a wonderful way to spend a few hours submersing ourselves into the history and making of Game of Thrones. Roko was truly wonderful and enthralled us with his GOT knowledge and introducing us to Dubrovnik. Was really sad when our time with him was over. Would not hesitate to recommend this tour for a very personal tour.

Very personalized. Femi goes with your pace. In the short 3 hours with you, she takes care of you by taking pictures of you, asking you to be careful not to miss a step, reminds you to watch out for road hazards and remind you to drink water and take your time.

We had an amazing private tour with Desha around Dubrovnik. She was wonderful and a great storyteller. Being a huge GOT fan, I learned even more from her and the locations she took us to were beautifully breathtaking! We walked the most we have walked in a long time and all uphill but it was worth it. What a gorgeous city no wonder it was chosen for Kings Landing. Highly recommend!

Even though the weather was awful, we decided to stick with the tour—and it actually worked out in our favor. The rain kept most of the crowds away, so we had many of the Game of Thrones filming locations almost entirely to ourselves. Our guide was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and exceptionally knowledgeable. She shared so many interesting details about the filming locations, the cast, behind-the-scenes stories, and Dubrovnik’s history that really brought everything to life. If you’re a Game of Thrones fan, this is a great excursion and definitely worth doing, rain or shine!

This was such a great experience! Matea was so knowledgeable. She showed us all the scenes and gave us so much history of Dubrovnik. We weren’t aware of the war that happened in 1991-1994. It’s such a beautiful city.

Desa kept us so engaged that we forgot that we had just spent 12 hours flying only two hours before joining this 3-hour walk around Dubrovnik! You’d think we would be ready to pass out but it was a terrific time!! Anything you want to know about Game of Thrones, Desa can answer since she’s seen the series 9 times and he husband was an extra! So much fun!

This was a fabulous experience for the 3 of us. My husband and I and our 27 year old daughter really enjoyed this tour. Of course we enjoyed the Game of Thrones part, but equally enjoyed the fascinating history of Dubrovnik, the fort and the walled town. Our guide, Drazen, was amazing. He is smart, interesting, engaged, knowledgeable and really enthusiastic. He was very flexible and adjusted the tour for our interests. It is because of him that we enjoyed this so much. I would recommend doing this first thing because it gives you an overview and you can go back and spend more time at any places of interest.

We took the three-hour Game of Thrones tour and it was outstanding. Our guide, Drazen Popovic—who was actually part of the GOT filming—was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable, not only about the show but also about the city’s rich history. This tour is absolutely worth the money and the best way to experience the entire walled city. I would 100% recommend booking a tour with Drazen again

Wow! What a great experience! Micheal was a great guide. She was so knowledgeable about Dubrovnik and all things GOT! It was a private tour so we got to stop for gelato and purchased some Hard Rock shirts. Great memories!

Great information and experience for Series Buffs and great historical information on Dubrovnik. The guide took us to important locations in Old Town and gave advice on other activities and places to eat while we remained in Dubrovnik.

Matea our guide was very good. She was very patient and accommodated the needs of all our group. She was well prepared in explaining sites including with game of thrones pictures. Recommend this tour but there is a number of steep steps to climb up and down.

A great tour. The tour pickup ended up being easier than I thought. The pickup at the port was a bit complicated because it is very large. Our ride was only meters from us for several minutes before pickup time. We got a ride to the old town in only a few minutes before pickup. It is very busy! Our guide was Femi. She knew history, facts and GoT data like the back of her hand. Be prepared for a LOT of walking. The show took place all over the city. We spent a lot of time on the city walls. They are in great shape but there are still 2 or 3 places where you need to mind your steps. The whole of old town is very photogenic and there are a lot of places to eat. This tour was money well spent and we would recommend it.

Dubrovnik was one of the ports of call on our cruise. We usually book private tours with Viator as they tend to be of higher quality than most. We were picked up by black Mercedes limo from our cruise ship to meet our guide outside of the Pile Gate. Our guide on this tour of the old city of Dubrovnik as told from the GOT perspective was outstanding. Vlaho worked on production of the HBO series so he was able to give an expert behind the scenes review of the series in relation to the history and architecture of the old city, aka “King’s Landing”. We throughly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it, especially if you have only a day to visit.

A 5 star experience all the way! Matea was fantastic - so knowledgeable about the history of Dubrovnik as well as the Game of Thrones locations/references. Having the book of still photos of the corresponding locations from the TV show really helped to bring this aspect of the tour alive. We went at a really gentle pace with lots of opportunities for photos, rest stops & refreshments along the way. We were picked up from our hotel so didn’t even have to make a separate uber booking to get to the meeting point. Would highly recommend! Thank you Matea 🙏

I booked this tour for the scenery! I knew it was centered around game of thrones but figured it wouldn’t be non stop once we clear non of us watched it. The city and tour were fabulous! The sights wonderful as expected. But enough already. I didn’t need non stop talk and showing of pictures about the scene that took place. Kind of pointless if no one saw the shows nor cares which was repeated numerous times. Maybe too politely. If you are a fan. This is the tour for you. You will not get enough it’s non stop. Highly recommend for Game of Thrones fans.

Absolutely awesome tour! Drazen was a great guide, flexible with what we wanted to see and knowledgeable of the city/sights. He even arranged our tour so that we wouldn’t get overheated. We were able to visit Fort Lovrijenac and walk the entirety of the city walls. We had plenty of time to refill water and stop into shops. Definitely recommend, and would go again if we could!

We had an awesome time in this tour, the views are mesmerizing, my whole family was amazed by how clean and well maintained the old town is, the history is very interesting and then you add our guide Mihaela, she is very professional and very knowledgeable about Dubrovnik, she is a local and you can feel how proud she is about it, and then she is the nicest person you could meet, she made our day, by far the best Tour of the 11 ones we took in this cruise.
