I would have liked to have more time in Medjugorje and cut out the Pocitelj stop. We still enjoyed the trip a lot though.

Itinerary
The tour starts with an early pick-up in Dubrovnik.
Enjoy free time to tour the most popular religious destination in the region.
After Medjugorje, join your driver and tour escort again for another short trip to the home of the region's most famous bridge, Mostar. Explore the narrow- cobblestone streets which make up the Old Town of Mostar with the Old Bridge at its center. Catch a glimpse of the fearless local divers who dive headfirst from the height of 24 meters into the whirling waters of the river Neretva below. Enjoy ample free time to see all the Old Town has to offer.
The Old Bridge Mostar is a reconstructed 16th-century Ottoman bridge that stands as a symbol of resilience, famously hosting local divers who leap into the river below.
Stop at the UNESCO-listed medieval town of Pocitelj on your way back. Take a break from the drive back and climb up the tower overlooking the Neretva river.
The Neretva river is an emerald-green waterway famous for its cold temperatures and stunning clarity as it flows through the heart of Mostar.

Although the country and sights are beautiful the tour is not. Our guide was not knowledgeable in the towns. He did give a quick overview of agricultural in the area than proceeded to vents about political & religious opinions. We were over stuffed in a very small broken down van. The back had been in an accident so we couldn’t even store bags. We had them in our laps or under our feet. In Mostar he offered to make us a reservation for lunch if we all dined together and paid for his lunch. I hoped he was joking. Overall it was a rush not well organized tour. Unfortunate!
We booked a coach tour, travelled 12 hours in a 8 seater minibus,, just with 8 people, no room to move.no guide to enrich our experience, driver did not talk whole journey, dropped us off and told us what time to meet him back.A shocking experience!
Too much time at border. Too little time in Medugorje. Too much time in Mostar. Bus driver was safe. Guide was knowledgeable.
We receive sufficient time to go to Medjugorje to look the Virgen. We visit the better place on this tour.
We purchased a small group experience of 8 and had a group of 6. We had a very skilled and excellent driver. He went out his way to show us little extras, like a place where sea salt is made. He managed customs in and out of Bosnia efficiently. He dropped us off as close as possible to apparition hill, the church and the core of Mostar, to optimize our time. He recommended an excellent place to have lunch in Mostar and dropped off each of the 3 couples close to their hotels at the end of the day. He was not an official tour guide but told us what he knew, sharing personal stories a making the trip delightful. Be prepared for a long day.
Very enjoyable day. Traveled in a small bus group with 7 total. The biggest downside was our driver was very nice, but didn’t tell us about anything that we were passing. Loved Mostar so pretty.
Very interesting and informative. Didn’t have enough time at the falls.
This was an excellent trip. We went on a minibus which meant less delay at the borders. Our driver was great and on the way he gave us lots of information about Bosnia. It was fascinating visiting yet another country although it was quite a long journey, particularly on the way back. The bridge in Mostar was an experience - the cobbled stonework was extremely smooth and everyone was slipping and sliding! A trip well worth the price.
The driver was very good, but it’s important to understand that this is transportation, not a tour. TripAdvisor is essentially providing transportation to Mostar and Medjugorje. If you’re expecting a knowledgeable guide who will provide information about Bosnia, its history, and the places you visit, this is probably not the trip for you. However, if you’re simply looking for reliable transportation to Mostar and Medjugorje, this is a good option.
It’s a very long day that starts earlier and ends later than listed. Nice way to see countryside and a few hours in Mostar is all you need. Glad we did it but would have gotten a lot more out of private tour of course.
Neither of us being religious we found Medjugorje an OK place to visit. My interest was Mostar and how it had changed over the years since the conflict of the 90’s. Having been posted to Bosnia back in the 90’s and witnessing the atrocities I wanted to see how thinks may have improved. The host Milko was knowledgeable and entertaining. Miro was the driver making the journey as smooth as possible.
What a great trip! It was a long day, but I feel as though I saw- and learned- an enormous amount. Highly recommend
Fabulous trip, very informative tour guide and great driver. Scenery spectacular. Prices excellent Definitely recommend to all.
Find out if the tour guide knows how to speak the language you have booked for. It’s hard to understand what the tour guide says.
Loved the energy of Niko and the driving experience of Mladen. They made the summerheat and the long drive bearable trought their interactions. Thanks to the timing provided we didn't had to prolong our visit because of the customs. They made the admission fee worth every penny. We were blessed by their pressence. Thank you! Sincerely Captain 🫡
Really a good experience! Niko was amazing, he gave us really good recommendations about food and stores, we enjoy the time in Mostar and the waterfalls!
Niko was very good and informative! Love the vibes and pure mems were made! Very interesting history. Make sure you bring cash as not many places take card and remember passport!!!!
Niko did a great job explaining the history of the former Yugoslavia and the role of Ottoman Empire. He made sure that everyone enjoy the trip, asked how are we feeling and about our impressions of the visited places. He leased the group well, cuz everyone was on time to leave which was very helpful considering it help us get fast through the borders with short waiting time. All together lovely experience!
Really good tour and recommended! Niko the tour guide is amazing and really helpful! Cash is crucial!
Well administered tour - on time, organized and fun!! Niko did a great job corralling our large group. We enjoyed his presentations and learned lots of new things. Loved the falls, would have liked to stay longer. Mostar was great with nice food and beautiful things to see and buy. We could have done without the last stop and gotten home a little sooner.
Niko was great, he communicated everything very clearly and effectively and was very knowledge to give tips and fun facts.
Niko was amazing!!! He was extremely professional, informative, and entertaining throughout our trip💕
This was an amazing tour with fun, education and beautiful scenery. Niko, our tour guide was the best.
Very good and smooth, guise was friendly (Niko)
Niko is the absolute best!! Very knowledgeable and friendly. He made this tour my favorite part of our Croatia vacation!
This trip was AMAZING and Niko was the BEST guide ever! Worth every dollar!
The tour overall was good. But for the little amount of time given at the stops felt very rushed and not worth the money . Medugorie only had 1 hour 20 min to see church and hike up apparition hill. He said he usually gives 1 hour, no way can you do anything . This stop should be 2+ hour. The tour should have organised it better to drop up off closer to the church or even in the town below apparition hill. We realised we could have organised a group to take a taxi to the hill . The hike was long about 1.8 km in the sun from the church, up hill and completely rocks and unpaved up apparition hill. I wish I knew this before so I did the hike first but again no info from the guide .The group that split to go to the falls also felt rushed. Literally walked to falls and turn back around as they were only given 20 min. Some people were late coming back to the bus because it was rushed causing the pick up at Medugorie to be 20 min late. Second stop was Mostar where we had almost 3 hours. This is too much time. It is a small town with a boat ride and mosque tower to see. We should only get 1.5 hours here max even with it being lunch time. The guide didn’t even tell us what we can do and see in Mostar, lack of info again. You don’t have a to give a lot of info but no info is terrible. The 3rd stop was Picotelj UNESCO town with stone steps up the hill. Only 30 min to go up to the tower ruins and back so you need to be in shape. It was a very physical tour if you did the hikes up the hills. I paid $102 while a UK lady only paid £36. Would I do it again yes, but I would have liked more info from the guide about how to maximise what to see. And also any interesting info about the stops we are going to. There was no real guidance by the guide except for you need to be back by this time. If he gave more info about what to see, it could improve our time management. You also need to give more time at the Medugorie/falls stop and less time in Mostar. We did appreciate the van drop off at the end near Buza Gate. They also need to put in description we need to have €3 cash for some ticket
Great experience, Niko was a fantastic host who was very accommodating and knowledgable. The recommended restaurant in Mostar was a brilliant recommendation with great service and a decent menu. All three locations were interesting and enjoyable and suitable for a days excursion.
The guide Niko is very nice and attentive. We enjoyed this excursion and the explanations
I had an absolutely wonderful day trip from Dubrovnik to Mostar and Kravica Waterfalls and Pocitelj! Everything was beautifully organized, and the journey was made even more enjoyable by our friendly and knowledgeable guide, Niko plus our equally nice driver (sorry forgot his name 🥹). Mostar was fascinating, with its charming old town and iconic bridge, while Kravica Waterfalls were simply breathtaking — a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish, with beautiful sights, interesting stories, and great memories to take home. Highly recommended to anyone!
Niko the Best born to be a guide
Niko was such an amazing tour guide and was so informative! We learned so much about the history and culture of Bosnia & Herzegovina and visited all the top spots!
Niko was an amazing guide! The trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina was beautiful and the food was delicious.
A long but very interesting and enjoyable day. Niko was a great guide and made sure we ran on time. The traditional lunch was amazing. Would definitely recommend.
We had a wonderful trip to Mostar and Medjugorje! Our guide, Orhan, was fantastic. He shared so many interesting facts about both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, making the journey informative and enjoyable from start to finish. Our driver was professional, punctual, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. Everything was very well organized, and we truly enjoyed the experience. Thank you for making this day so memorable—we highly recommend this tour!
Drazen was an awesome tour guide! We learned a ton, saw all the beautiful sites, and the tour was able to get us through the border between Montenegro and Croatia with relative ease. We had a full day with all kinds of beautiful scenery.
The sites visited were all very beautiful, I truly wish there was less time spent in Mostar and more in Medjugorje. I thought there would be enough time to climb apparition hill but there wasn’t even enough time to see the bottom of the hill or drive by the bottom of the apparition site. There wasn’t even enough lack of communication for the pickup and they ended up shifting my pickup time a whole hour back even after they confirmed it. A lot of time is lost during travel and border crossing (which is out of control of the driver). Our tour guide/driver only talked to us about each city while in the car and did not like walk around the cities with us. I liked having more individual free time in each city, but it is really difficult to hear the tour guide talking while you are driving on a loud road and sitting in the very back of the car. There was also miscommunication about where we were meeting to leave Mostar which ended up us losing more additional time. Overall ended up enjoying the trip and would go again, just could have been improved greatly with better communication. And if there is any flexibility in the itinerary would love more time in Medjugorje to be able to visit apparition hill.
Really enjoyed the tour today. Drazen was very engaged and passionate and I really enjoyed the tour he gave us! Would consider another tour with him for sure
Drazen shared his knowledge of the country, knew how to find a short border queue and helped me re-unite with glasses that I left at the first stop.
I got a call 8:30the night before trip asking if I could postpone the trip, this was after it was confirmed earlier that day. The driver that came had never done the trip before gave no guidance we missed out Medugorje all together I had to pay $10 euros to see waterfalls not mentioned in booking. This trip was thrown together because something went wrong. I am not happy paying full price for it.
Dražen did a great job explaining the history of each place we visited as well as further information of the local areas/countries and gave first hand personal experience to part of his tour which goes a long way and shows how much he truly loves his country! The border control is a nightmare with the new digital ID system and adds so much time to the trip, however once through the trip itself was incredible! Sad to hear about the hotel and waterpark they are wanting to build close to Kravica Waterfalls, a natural beauty I feel will be sadly lost by the amount of tourists that will be brought in by this build. As a travel agent, I will recommend this tour with clients!
Incredible day out with a super friendly team, driver Zack and Drajan. Perfect mix of places to visit. Very knowledgable and detailed information from Drajan. Highly recommended.
Excellent trip. Drazen our guide was very informative and ensured we got through the border controls smoothly. Our driver ensured a smooth trip. Well worth doing and worth the money.
Absolutely amazing experience do not even think about not visiting. It is the most amazing place. The atmosphere is really amazing. The waterfalls and the village were absolutely beautiful. The team is absolutely amazing. The guide is really informative. I was really worried aboutwaiting too long at the border, but the team is very organized and they check from where to cross so you don’t wait long the visit about 12 hours total. I was also skeptical about it being a big group, but you don’t even feel it.
Drazen has been an excellent guide. He explain us very well every place we visited. He also, answered all our questions. There is something else we appreciated, Teo, the driver he is a very experienced and professional driver. We highly recommend this tour.
Great day trip from the scenery to our driver guide,Igor. He keeps us entertained with interesting stories. Also re-entering Croatia, it would have took an hour's wait. But he took us through a smaller customs post ,which was an extra interesting detour. Still got back to Dubrovnik on time!!!
Igor was informative and explained a lot to us about the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, he went above his duties to find us a taxi when we detoured from the itinerary.
Great experience, really enjoyed it and the tourist guide Igor was really helpful and informative.
We had a very lovely day with our guide Igor who was very informative, entertaining, and attentive
