We were picked up by our tour bus just 5 minutes from our hotel to join the excursion to Mostar and the Waterfalls.Our tour guide Carmen and bus driver Ivan greeted us warmly as soon as we arrived Carmen was an amazing guide.She was very informative and told us all about the history of Bosnia and the surrounding areas. She was very professional,fun and confident. she also spoke many languages ,so a very bright lady. Ivan our driver was also very good. He was a very skilled driver along the long high ,winding roads but we felt very safe in his hands. Mostar was an amazing place.With it’s historical buildings ,winding cobbled streets,many shops and a beautiful old bridge. After Mostar we visited the lovely waterfalls.Although it was very busy there was lots of room to swim and paddle to cool down.It was such a beautiful place. There was an extra cost of 10 Euros to enter per person but it was worth the experience. A little tip would be to take cash as cards in Mostar are not accepted in many shops . This was honestly one of the absolute highlights of our entire trip! Kravice Falls was breathtaking, but what made this experience truly exceptional was our driver, Diego. He was hands down one of the most delightful human beings we have met during our travels. From the very beginning, it was obvious that Diego genuinely cared about making sure the six of us had the best possible day. He was warm, funny, knowledgeable, thoughtful and incredibly accommodating. He knew the area so well, including which of the smaller border crossings to use to help us avoid the long lines and spend more of our day actually enjoying ourselves rather than sitting in traffic. Those little details made such a difference. The falls themselves were absolutely spectacular and even more beautiful than we expected. We had plenty of time to explore and enjoy them and never felt rushed. Afterward, our group told Diego we would love to have lunch somewhere really nice, preferably somewhere beautiful by the water. We left the choice completely up to him, and he absolutely nailed it! He took us to the most incredible restaurant right on the water. The setting was gorgeous, the food was wonderful, and it ended up being another highlight of an already amazing day. It was exactly the kind of place we never would have discovered on our own. What really stood out, though, was Diego himself. This didn't feel like someone simply driving us from one tourist attraction to another. He seemed genuinely invested in our experience and wanted us to love his beautiful part of the world. By the end of the day, it felt much more like we had spent the day exploring with a wonderful local friend. We have done several private tours during this trip, and this one will absolutely stand out as one of our favorites. Kravice Falls is definitely worth seeing, but having Diego as our driver turned a beautiful excursion into a truly unforgettable day. If you're considering this tour, BOOK IT, and if you have the opportunity to request Diego, absolutely do it! Fantastic experience to see Mostar and falls. Definitely the way to go if you are going to do the Mostar trip. Ivan was fantastic and I loved having flexibility on time and anything if we needed it. It's a long drive, which makes it even nicer to have a private tour that is not waiting on anyone other than your schedule. The border crossing is also easier on a private tour. You still have to get out of the car, but it's a lot better tha n a bus full of people. For us it was 5-10 mins at border. It was a great experience with a wonderful driver !

Travelling with Ivan was so amazing! He was so helpful and fun to talk to which made the longer drives go by so fast. His presence made the tour spectacular. Amazing service, his driving was safe, and he gave us many good suggestions for food and facts about Croatia’s history. He is extremely kind and considerate throughout the whole trip, not to mention so funny and enthusiastic! I highly recommend having Ivan as a driver!!

From the moment my daughter and I were picked up to the second we were dropped off, this day trip was an absolute delight and we owe it all to Goldie, our driver! He was so thoughtful and kind! He shared the history of Croatia with us, distant past and more recent past. He shared the history of every place we stopped in and drove through. He pointed out interesting facts and tidbits! Mostar was amazing, Počitelj was magical, and getting to experience Bosnia with Goldie was the icing on the cake! Thank you, Goldie, for such a wonderful experience!!

Ivan even gave us a great recommendation to stop for a glass of wine with a beautiful view on the way home. We had a great experience. We would recommend this to friends.

Great trip. Falls were beautiful. Mostar was very nice. Had a great lunch and took a quick boat ride on the river. Driver was terrific.

We had a lovely drive to Bosnia for the day with a friendly guide, Paco who told us a lot about the history of Croatia and Bosnia. He took us to lunch in a restaurant in Mostar which was our best meal in our Dubrovnik trip, and happens to be the cheapest too. While we only hired him for the transfer he showed us the must-see in Mostar before we ventured on our own. As we had children with us he was considerate to offer regular toilet stops for us, and changed the itinerary slightly to accommodate there are shorter daytime hours in October. Highly recommended!

Dzenan is an amazing tour guide. Like most guides, he was informative and gave great suggestions on things like where to go and eat. What made him stand out, for me, was his humanity. He shared about personal experiences and his family’s life. He demystified how the media portrayed his country. I appreciated his candor and his kindness, but mostly I appreciated his vulnerability. 100% recommended.

0ur driver (Evan) was excellent. Good tips for our location stops. Tried to avoid crowds, unfortunately Mostar was very busy due to large bus tours.

A fantastic, comfortable tour in a private Mercedes van. Carlos, our driver, was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the van cool in the 37°C heat (bonus points for resembling a Spanish Chris Martin!). Mostar was a highlight—wandering the old town, shopping in the bazaars, and enjoying lunch with a bridge view. I’d happily spend more time there and skip Kravice Falls in summer—€30 entry, overcrowded, and too commercial. Loved the peaceful stop at the coldest river, with its cave and monastery—a hidden gem!

After traveling to Montenegro on a huge bus tour we decided to go with the private tour. And it didn’t disappoint. We were very lucky to get Ivan as our driver and guide. The van was spacious and comfortable and we were able to relax and enjoy the ride and beautiful scenery on the way there and back (and the kids even napped in the back seat). Ivan was not just a safe driver but also a very informative guide. He got us through the border crossings in no time whatsoever and we were able to enjoy Kravica Waterfalls before all the tour buses got there. (It’s so amazing there that we spent an hour and a half instead of an hour and probably would have spent more if not for literally hundreds of people that started arriving there). The trip from the Waterfalls to Mostar was very quick and then we had about 2.5 hours exploring the old city and the bridge and had a wonderful lunch n the river with the view of the old bridge. Definitely try their Turkish delights (of course they call the Bosnian delights) and ice cream. Altogether the trip took about 9-10 hours and we loved it even though about 5-6 hours was spent driving. Thank you Ivan!

The trip itself was good but it wasn’t planned well by our guide. The day was extremely hot day and we realized it would have been nicer to spend more time at the beautiful Kravice waterfall than Mostar.

We had a great experience on a private tour from dubrovnik to Mostar. Our driver/guide Ivan was very knowledgeable. And gave us a lot of insight into the sights we saw as well as croatia in general. Highly recommend!

This tour was worth every penny. Minimal additional expenses and they’re very transparent. If you are near old town more than 2 days it’s a must do, in my opinion. Carmen was our guide…she was the perfect combo of informative and funny. We definitely had a good time. Mostar was the gem of the trip for me…the waterfalls were great too. Weather was great all day, but it was a bit overcast at Kravica Just warning it’s a very long day…you may catch some sleep on the bus unless you’re like me and don’t do well with that, and you may not want to miss the historical explanations along the way. One of the highlighted days of our trip. Enjoy!

Paco was a good driver, but needed to stay with the tour plan. He kept attempting to convince us to deviate from the tour plan. We think he meant well, but it made us uncomfortable and we decided to cut the tour short. We never made it to either intended destinations.

Our driver Ivan was so knowledgeable and accommodating ! The vehicle was brand new and Ivan was a great driver. We had a lovely day.

Absolutely amazing experience, fell in love with the city Mostar and its history. Dzenan was absolutely amazing and put his heart and soul into the tour. Carman was great and we had a super top time in Mostar. The bus was full but it went smoothly. We had a 45min tours in Mostar by a local guide followed by tips during all the trip covering history to food topics.

We were three couples, had private day trip (10hr) in a seven seater car. This was the second day of the two day trips we did with Adriatic tours. We were lucky to have Carlos as our guide/driver on both days. He was very fluent in English, good knowledge of the local history, gave us advice on good restaurants, advised us in local attractions and food to try. We visited Blagaj, Mostar and Kravice waterfalls. We spent most time in Mostar. Highly recomended

Had a marvellous time seeing things off the beaten track with an extraordinary guide, Carlos. He took us to beautiful Blagaj the site of a 15th century Dervish house. What an experience! Such a charming spot on the river with lovely terraces and places to eat.! We absolutely loved it and Carlos’ enthusiasm for our choice of destination. Then we went to Mostar with its very multicultural experience, streets of shops, famous bridge and the best Turkish coffee ever - again, a recommendation from Carlos whose knowledge and tailoring of our experience to what he knew we’d like was fantastic. We finished our tour in another small village, Pocitelj, where there’s a mosque, ancient fort and a scattering of houses and stalls and the best homemade Pomegranite juice EVER! Pocitelj’s history is a sad one as they suffered loss of treasures and people in the Balkan war of the 1990s. We had a fabulous day which finished only after Carlos made sure we were safely at our new accommodation (which was very hard to find). We loved this day tour and loved having such an interesting , knowledgeable and personable guide. Thanks Carlos!

We had a brilliant day in Mostar and Kravica with a surprise short tour of Mostar from a fabulous guide, Dzenan! His knowledge on Bosnia and Herzegovina was incredibly informative, emotive and eye opening! We enjoyed walking through the streets of Mostar and the waterfalls were beautiful! I great trip and would highly recommend.

Carlos was brilliant. He had vast knowledge of the regions that we travelled through. We enjoyed listening to him tell us the history and general knowledge of each town we passed through...Carlos helped us learn about Mostar, which really added to our experience. And Carlos went above and beyond the call of duty...I fell and hurt my ankle ( turns out,I have a hairline fracture on my ankle from the fall)... Carlos took me safely to hospital, helped me find who to talk to and ensured my husband and I were safe. Carlos you're a superstar...we thank you so much .👍👍

I fully recommend this tour!!! We we're collected from our hotel exactly on time then travelled directly to the beautiful city of Mostar. When departing the bus, we were greeted by our guide, Dzenan. He was incredibly informative & friendly. He also constantly checked on the group as a whole to ensure everybody had a fantastic tour. The city itself was beautiful, full of life, history & fabulous food. One of the best things to do while in this area!!!

Ivan was an exceptional guide with intimate knowledge of the area and history of Dubrovnik, Kravice, and Mostar. His suggestions throughout the trip provided an experience that gave more of a local feel of the place. I highly recommend Adriatic Explore Day Tours to anyone visiting the area looking for a great day of exploring!

Not sure why this company or Viator listed this tour as ALL FEES & TAXES INCLUDED, then the tour guide charged us 40 Euros extra to see the falls. I brought this up to our tour guide, Ivan, at the end of the tour (even showed him Viator's description from my phone) and he said if we hadn't paid, we would only be dropped off in the parking lot with no way to see the falls. WE PAID $442 for all four of us to see the falls as listed in the description, so the ticket price SHOULD HAVE been included and if not it, should have been specified in the description of this tour. Also on this 9 hour journey in 95 degree heat, we would have thought the guide would have provided us with at least one bottle of cold water each. Ivan was very nice, knowledgeable and drove well so we were very pleased with him in these aspects of the tour. The two tour destinations themselves were well worth doing and seeing, even if it was hot and a long drive away. It would have also been nice for the Ivan to tell us in advance (before we arrived in the van at Mostar) that any cigarettes or liquor that we purchased in Mostar would be confiscated at the border, not wait until we were seconds away from going through customs leaving the country! Thankfully we hadn't bought any but I would have been really PO'd at him if so. Our tour description also specified a 3 hour stay in Mostar but we were instructed to be back in 2 hours. We were given another 30 minute stop at a road side wine bar (which we had requested), that was nice but we still would have appreciated more time in Mostar since this city was the highlight of this tour. Mixed emotions about this tour. I would have left the guide a good tip and his company a 5 star review, if there wasn't so many irregularities and if we weren't charged extra for the falls.

Carlos was our driver and he was fantastic. Had lots ideas and knowledge. Everything was easy and flexible witch made our family very happy. Carlos also has a great taste in music!

I had a very nice tour in Mostar, accompanied by the guide Dzenan Durakovic. He told us the history of the city and showed the group the most important places. We had such an incredible time on this day trip - our driver Carlos was the utmost professional and a joy to be on the trip with. He was knowledgable about the area, warm and flexible - even when my mum wanted to stop to get fruits and flowers from the local sellers on the side of the road, no ask was too much. We got back to Dubrovnik feeling relaxed after our adventures in Bosnia - experiencing delicious food, hospitable and friendly culture and gorgeous natural landscapes. The variety in the trip of the city and the landscapes of the waterfall were a really nice balance and also change of pace compared to Dubrovnik.

It was FANTASTIC ,all other words are not necessary! Tour guide DZENAN is more than incredible, his way of explaining the history and culture of Mostar was more than perfect. Even if he do this tour every day it s not boring for him, he enjoy and love his Job. Respect! He took us with Carlos to the Waterfalls Kravice ,it was so amazing to be there , amazing waterfalls, food ,swimming… Carlos was a perfect driver and we felt secure I think so far it was one of the best tours where we had fun and maximum enjoyed our Day! I would like to say a massive thank you to Carlos for an awesome tour of Mostar, Kravice and Blagaj. My partner and I considered going on a group tour, but opted for this private tour as it started a bit later. Here are the great things about this tour: 1. Carlos, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable about Bosnia. He is very passionate about the country and can explain in detail about its history, culture and cuisine. 2. We got picked up at a time that suited us (08:00 am) and headed straight to the Neum border crossing - no waiting around and picking up other people. 3. Carlos was a very smooth and safe driver, plus the car is very comfortable (we had a Mercedes E Class) 4. The itinerary is very flexible, you can add more time at spots you like (we had extra time in Mostar for example) 5. Carlos suggested that we visit the Blagaj (pronounced Blag - Guy) monestry as well - so we added it in and it was very beautiful (definitely ask for this IMO). 6. You get restaurant recommendations for your lunch, we ate at a place called Lagero, which had a brilliant view of the Mostar bridge. Basically, I very much recommend this tour!

Our driver, Pero, took very care of us. He was always punctual (early actually), friendly and informative, and a safe driver. His recommendations for local food (restaurants and bakery) were spot on.
