Mostar, Pocitelj And Kravice Waterfalls Private Tour From Dubrovnik

We had a great private tour to Mostar and Kravice Waterfalls! We were picked up from our hotel in an upgraded minivan, which made the journey very comfortable. Bruno, our guide, was really knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information throughout the trip. The waterfalls were beautiful, although visiting in October was too cold for swimming. However, it did mean that Mostar was much less crowded, and we were able to explore at our own pace. On the way back, we stopped in Ston to see the wall, which was a great addition to the day. It was such an easy and hassle-free way to visit Mostar, making for a relaxing and enjoyable trip. Would definitely recommend.

It was a very enjoyable ride to the waterfalls and to Mostar! Our guide (Disco) was super friendly and very knowledgeable of the history of the places, he is a super guide thanks to him we could enjoy the places and also know which places to avoid as touristic trap. Disco is very energetic, fun, great humor and very charismatic person.

Disco was an amazing guide and shared really interesting history of Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina. He also had us laughing and enjoying the whole day. In Mostar, based on his recommendation, I went to the Museum of War and Genocide and the Koski Mehmed Pasha mosque (I climbed the minaret to get a great view!). I wish I had more time for shopping - if they could offer a longer tour I would take it! Thank you so much!

We had a great trip to see Pocitelj and Mostar. Miodrag is a safe driver and has great stories about history of the area.

Miodrag picked us up at our port in Dubrovnik. We spent virtually the whole day with him. Miodrag made it clear that he wanted to please us in every way, and our wish was his command. Although we had booked the whole day to go to the old bridge and town of Mostar, I also wanted to get back to Dubrovnik in time to walk the old city walls there. Miodrag promised that he would make this happen and he was 100% true to his word. We got everything we wanted out of our day! We first went to the waterfalls, which were a pleasant stop. We spent about 45 minutes there, walking down to the falls and walking the many steps back up. Our next destination was Mostar. We needed to cross the Bosnia border to do this, and Miodrag accomplished this in a speedy way by going to a less busy border stop. Miodrag told us pleasant stories of the towns, the history, and even a bit about his family during our drive. Mostar is a very quaint town with a lovely iconic bridge. Miodrag explained how to wait and watch for a driver to drive from the bridge, and that was a fun thing to see. We spent nearly two hours strolling in the town and enjoyed Mostar very much. The pleasant co-mingling of the 3 religions (Muslim, Catholic, and Serbian Orthodox) sets a hopeful tone for world peace. Miodrag noticed that I enjoy taking pictures, so he suggested an additional stop in Ston on the way back to Dubrovnik. Ston makes world famous salt, and also has long, tall stone walls that climb the mountainside, reminiscent of the Great Wall of China. Indeed we enjoyed seeing these sights, and even with this extra stop we were still able to make it back to Dubrovnik by about 4:15, which allowed plenty of time for us to walk the old town walls before our ship left at 8pm. We enjoyed Dubrovnik, walking the city walks, and strolling a bit in old town. We learned quite a bit about the region and enjoyed our day with Miodrag. We recommend him and this trip. Be sure to ask for any specializations you want because Miodrag will absolutely want to please you!

Our tour guide was Mateo, he was very knowledgeable on all things Croatia. His history, recommendations and guidance were helpful! We enjoyed our trip and highly recommend Mateo !

The whole trip was fantastic. Our guide, Disco, was informative and friendly throughout the day and accommodating to any requests we had. Our family group consisted of a 5 year old and 18 year old but even with the age difference everything ran smoothly. Would definitely recommend this trip.

Marko, our tour guide, is a legend. Funny, knowledgeable, local, authentic and kind. He gave us great tips and taught us a lot about BIH! The waterfalls were lovely, but they are pretty commercial based, Mostar has some beautiful history - cobbled streets, markets, a beautiful bridge from Ottoman Empire, and some tasty local food. It is on the warmer side climate wise. Marko knew which crossing boarder points to use and it was very smooth. The minibus was comfortable and had AC, and the pick and drop off was door to door. It’s definitely worth a visit to find out more about BIH. The waterfalls are a consideration if you have walking difficulties or pushchairs - then take precautions/go steady. The water is around 16 degrees and you can swim in the little pond next to the waterfall, there are refreshments and cafes there. It’s €10 to get into waterfall. Lovely company and thank you for a great day!

This tour was an absolute highlight for our family trip to Croatia! Our guide Mateo was incredibly personable and endlessly knowledgeable, and we learned so much history about Bosnia and Herzegovina. The private tour was a perfect way customize our route, and we decided to skip Pocitelj and stay longer at Kravice to swim. We got to the falls with no crowds at all, before the tour buses arrived. Went above and beyond for us firstly picking us up from our location, recommending us and booking us a fantastic lunch which was very good value. What an incredible day. Our guide Bruno was filled with history and info that added color to our trip. Comfy, clean vehicle, fast pass across the border and excellent lunch spot to savor local treats. Communication was perfect and our driver was spot on time for pick up. This was a fantastic experience. The waterfalls were way more impressive than we expected- the photos don’t do them justice! Mostar was beautiful and very interesting, and our guide Novak was a wealth of really interesting information. Highly recommended!!

Driver disco was great, great day. But do not go on this if you get motion sickness. He drove very fast and at times unsafe, speeding around other cars.

We loved the private tour. We could go our own speed. Take as much time as we wanted, and skip things that were not as interesting. Disco (yes that’s what they call him) was a fantastic tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly and made the day zip by! Highly recommend!

We like the your very much. Based on the experience, I definitely recommend small group tour compared to the tour with large group, like bus your. It is time efficient, less crowded. Both destinations were good. We liked the waterfall a lot. I recommend doing 10 min boat Ride near waterfall. Mostar was OK. Of you have option to do only waterfall and come back, do that. Travel time from Dubrovnik to Mostar does Not justify the trip. Now the most important part, AND this is the major contributing factor for my 5 star rating: our guide, and driver, Miodrag. Throughout the trip he provided historical information about Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Yugoslavia, the places covered in this tour, and places around the road. He also shared the fun facts. He chatted enough with the group, making everyone engaged in the tour, but also enjoy the scenic route along the way. Big BIG thanks dear Miodrag.

I cannot stress enough how much I loved this tour. Our guide, Mateo, far exceeded expectations. He was so gracious and friendly and knowledgeable and so much fun to talk to. I would 100% book any tour with him in the future. Bosnia was absolutely stunning. The drive from Dubrovnik was gorgeous. I learned a lot about the history of Yugoslavia and the seven countries that now encompass it. This tour was the highlight of my trip, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Fun day with a great guide. Very flexible in terms of itinerary. Mostar is great but only need a couple of hours. Falls are ok. Stop for oysters was a highlight.

Our driver, Mateo, picked us up from our hotel in Dubrovnik at 7:00 a.m. and we proceeded to explore the Dubrovnik Riviera, crossing the border into Bosnia Herzegovina to see the Kravice Waterfalls and town of Mostar. Very comfortable ride and Mateo was quite knowledgeable sharing a great deal of interesting information about the area's history. Highly recommend! 😃

He was very accommodating and very knowledgeable - apart from sharing the history of Mostar/ Bosnia - he also share stories about 90s Balkan wars - how the great Yugoslavia broke down to 6 different countries - which I appreciate a lot. And of course the coffee sessions / stories with Emilia Clarke added more fun!

"Excellence" is the first word that comes to mind when thinking of this tour with Marko. When he picked us up, he greeted us like old friends and made us feel extremely comfortable. As we drove through the tour, he shared a perfect balance of fun facts, historical information, and personal stories. We could really tell that we were being taken around by someone who knew the area in a way only someone who had lived there could. We joked about how he could control the weather, because every place we stopped immediately became sunny, even though the forecast had said it would be rainy all day. All I can say is it really felt like we were driving around with a friend, and he made us feel welcome and comfortable the whole time. I also really appreciated that he had a microphone and small speaker so he could chat with us without having to scream to the back of the car. All this to say, if you are thinking about booking a tour with this company, you need to! I can't speak for any of the other tour guides, but if you're lucky enough to get Marko, you'll be in for a great day. Also, all the people on our tour were relatively young, but I think anyone of any age could enjoy this tour. We ended up taking the more difficult path down to the waterfall, but there were options that were less strenuous, so they really make sure it is accessible to anyone. 10/10 would recommend across the board.

Easy pickup right outside our accommodation. Within 10 minutes every group was in the van and we were off on a scenic ride up the coast. Bruno, our guide kept us informed throughout the trip and really explained the culture and history of the region. Would really recommend. It was very cool to see a different culture and unique city. The advantage of the small group tour is we were among the first at the waterfall and got to experience it in semi serenity before the large bus groups really started streaming in. Another advantage is earlier arrival back in Dubrovnik so had 2 more hours to explore before sunset.

Disco was a very good driver and guide, he was friendly, talkative and considerate of my parents needs. He was very knowledgeable about the area and history. Unfortunately we had experience very bad weather, due to this the waterfalls were closed and our trip was cut short. However, I would still recommend smaller private tours as it gives you the flexibility, convenience and comfort to go and see things at your own pace. Will book again with this company in the future and recommend to others as well!

We had the best guide, Disco- who was so knowledgeable and worldly and shared so much insight and information, both factual and experiential, that it was such a full experience. The locations were stunning, the timing of our tour just missed all the crazy crowds, and we all had a great time- especially the 9 and 12 year olds! What a day!!🤩

We were very pleased with choosing Laus Travel for a day trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina. In a market with so many agencies to choose from, I can now say that Laus does indeed deserve the overwhelming number of accolades they receive. The positive experience began well before we arrived in Croatia during the planning process. Praise to Ivo for his responsiveness and patience with my many questions. We booked a private tour for four of us to visit the Kravica Waterfalls and Mostar. Our driver Novak met us near our Airbnb in a nice size comfortable van. Ivo also was there to introduce himself and make sure everything was okay. Novak is a very competent and friendly driver; during the ride to Bosnia and Herzegovina he explained much of what we were seeing and the history of this area. Being a private tour, Novak was extremely flexible in the amount of time we were able to spend at each stop. I was able to communicate with him and Ivo easily via WhatsApp or email. After the trip, we inadvertently left a few personal items in the van; Ivo proactively notified us and brought them to us! Without hesitation, I would again use Laus Travel if traveling to Dubrovnik again.

He provided us with lots of information about the region during our comfortable ride in an air-conditioned minivan to the Kravice waterfalls and Mostar. The waterfalls were beautiful and I enjoyed sitting at the outdoor restaurant sipping an iced coffee as I watched people way braver than I am swim in the 56 degree pools beneath the falls! Mostar was charming and the history of the area was fascinating. The restaurant Disco recommended had great food, was very reasonably priced, and took credit cards, which many restaurants in Mostar do take.
