Bus driver, bus and Montenegro tour was great, however Niko as a tour guide needs some extensive training on communication and professionalism. He talks too much, repeated the same mundane stuff many times ( where to stand at the security post, not to blink your eyes, etc) . Our entire group felt as if we are 8-10 year olds going on a school trip with a teacher or chaperone.. Moreover, he 'forced' most of us to lunch at the designated place which was entirely optional. When we didn't want to, he showed some attitude - you can't do that just to get commissions from the restaurant. He also didn't return us the extra money we paid for the tourist tax right away when he had the exact change from other passengers. Even when we reached the 2nd stop as part of the tour, he didn't communicate to the entire group that the ferry to the island will cost extra. Anna, on the other hand on our Bosnia tour, was fantastic. I would not use the same tour if Niko happens to be the tour guide. I got a headache from listening to his incessant talking every few minutes about redundant things. He also didn't have a good sense of humor to make the tour lively or shared much important information about the different cities we visited..

Itinerary
Start your tour with a pickup from your central Dubrovnik hotel. Board your private, air-conditioned vehicle and admire Croatia’s coastline on route to Montenegro. As this is a private tour, feel free to ask your guide any questions during your tour.
After roughly an hour, cross into Montenegro. Trace the breathtaking, mountain-ringed Bay of Kotor (Boka Kotorska), and arrive at Kotor, the beautiful walled town at its head. On arrival, explore independently.. Then, enter via a gate in the 9th century walls, and discover the gorgeous Venetian lanes and squares lined with stone churches and mansions. As you look around, be sure to visit the town's showpiece, Saint Tryphon’s Cathedral. Dating from the 12th century, this twin-towered church boasts a silver altar screen and the remains of St Tryphon, Kotor’s patron saint. Break for lunch (own expense) at a restaurant, and if you wish, choose to spend more time in Kotor, or ask your guide to drive you to nearby Perast, also on the bay.
Explore this tiny Venetian gem and then spend time here at leisure, perhaps absorbing the lovely views over the island monastery of St George. Consider taking an optional boat ride to the man-made island, Our Lady of the Rocks.

Restaurant (Pepe Nero) recommended by driver cum guide at Kotor was really good and perfect. The homemade apple pie is must eat item.
We loved this excursion! We had a great time in Kotor and Perast. Our guide, Robert, was very knowledgeable.
I was thoroughly impressed with Dejan (Driver/Guide) as well as Montenegro! Dejan made a spot on recommendation to skip Budva, which was included in the trip and we toured Bosnia instead. This decision alone saved us a 4 to 5 hours wait at the border on the return drive to Croatia. He possesses a balanced knowledge of the areas we toured and an excellent sense of humor, which made the drive enjoyable and entertaining. The detour to Bosnia was time saving as well as a cultural PLUS!! I recommend the Montenegro trip, Dejan as a guide and an extra day in Montenegro if you have the time.
Zeljan Zach was extremely professional and highly recommend! Us customer top tour guide. He is an ambassador of Dubronovik tourism. Very safe driver and very patient. Very knowledgeable with the history of ex Yugoslavia and Croatia. Very satisfied with more information and planning on coming back next year. High class trip. We did 2 tours with him and requested him to take us on the tours. Good introduce company Super Tours Dubronovik. Fabulous tours both days. Very appreciated!
Had an amazing trip! Our tour guides, Zach, was amazing! He was very informative and professional and really helped make it a great day. Would highly recommend
Three friends and I did the private tour of Montenegro on 06/26 with Zach Z. And it was fantastic! Zach was so professional and thoughtful- he was the best tour guide we had through our time in Croatia and made the experience a 10/10!
What an excellent excursion while visiting Croatia! Our guide Zach Zeljan was really what put it over the top. He was extremely professional and thoughtful in his approach to the trip. He made sure that we had everything we needed from passports to supplies, and even some drinking water for us when we were very parched. He was very knowledgeable and had great insight on all of the best spots to go to in and around Montenegro. You could tell that he was well liked by many people in the area as he had good relationships with local bars and shops and was able to get us deals.
We had a lovely time exploring the locations on the tour and enjoyed some good food as well. Our guide, Dejan, was excellent and he was very informative. He was funny and made the journeys between each location enjoyable. Would recommend!
Super fun time! My guide Dejan was amazing. Very kind and informative. Great spots and views! Would definitely recommend.
We booked this tour through a well known tour website rather than directly, but could not be happier that this company ended up as our allocated tour conductor. Our guide was Zac (excuse the spelling if incorrect) who normally drives large tour coaches in the summer. We were an extended family of 6 so Zac drove us in a luxury minivan. Zac was a superb guide and driver. As he does this tour often, we gained from his insights into what to see, where to go, where to stop for convenience breaks and where to eat. He was very friendly, enthusiastic, proud of his country (he is a Dubrovnik local) and extremely knowledgeable. We also gained from his local insights, his familiarity with the border crossing procedures and staff, and his intimate knowledge of the areas you will visit. The tour itself is an absolute must-do. In the off-season, it is easily done as a comfortable day trip. There were no crowds or waiting times and the roads were not busy. The parts of Montenegro you will visit on this tour are stunning and magical. So close to Dubrovnik and yet so different. There was plenty of time at each stop and we never felt rushed. Do this tour with Zac. You will not regret it.
Zach drove the four of us from Dubrovnik to Kotor via Perast and gave us a wonderful day, full of local stories and colour. He was also an excellent photographer of our small group. Our visit was on a wet November day - good for low crowds, bad for wet feet. But the towns were still beautiful and unmissable as a day out from Croatia. Do not miss Montenegro. And we felt in very good hands with Zach.
I recently booked a private trip with Super Tours from Dubrovnik to Montenegro, and let me tell you, it was a total letdown. Our trip got cut short because one of their employees messed up big time with our passports. I feel like I need to share my experience so others can avoid the same headache. Right from the start, things went downhill. When we handed over our passports to the Super Tours employee, they somehow managed to lose one. We searched high and low, but it was nowhere to be found. I mean, seriously, how can someone be so careless? We had 11 people, but somehow only 10 passports made it across the border. It's not just unprofessional—it's downright risky for travelers relying on Super Tours for a smooth journey. To make matters worse, this employee we're talking about didn't even own up to their mistake. Instead of taking responsibility or showing any empathy, they tried to pass the blame onto us. Talk about frustrating! We were left dealing with the aftermath of their negligence without any support or understanding. And guess what? When we asked for a refund for the shortened trip, they flat-out denied it. Can you believe that? We were in that van for a measly two hours before the trip was cut short because of their mess-up. It's only fair that we get at least a partial refund. On top of that, we wasted so much of our precious holiday time searching for that lost passport. I strongly advise against booking anything with Super Tours. They lack professionalism, disregard customer safety, and refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes. This experience has shattered my trust in them, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same ordeal. I really hope Super Tours takes this complaint seriously and actually does something about it. They need to investigate what went wrong and make sure it doesn't happen again. But honestly, my advice to other travelers is to be cautious and consider other options before relying on Super Tours for your trip.
Luka was an amazing guide. This is a long day, but worth it. This is the way to see Montenegro. Wonderful food and sights! Luka tells the history of all the areas and is so knowledgeable!
The reason I am not rating this tour as excelent is its price which was double what we paid for the private day tour to Mostar and Kravice. Otherwise this tour is a must. Kotor is very beatiful, our driver/guide made miracles in the road to get us to all places on time and was able to surpass some unexpected events - like the ferry strike and still take us to Dubrovnik on time. I strongly recommend. Montenegro is BEAUTIFUL!
We liked our driver very much but felt the description of this trip was misleading. We were dropped off at Perast for an hour on our own and for 3 hours on our own in Kotor. All this was fine but I think labeling this tour of Kotor is not accurate. Since the traffic is very heavy having a driver was more convenient. The experience should be labeled driver to Perast and Kotor.
12 hours before this trip we received a WhatsApp message stating it was cancelled. This was too late for us to arrange something else so we were left with no activity to do on the last day of our holiday.
Eva was a knowledgeable guide who provided interesting cultural and historical information along our drive. She also knew how to make the border crossings go very smoothly. Our first stop was Persat with a nice stroll along the bay through the old town. The highlight was Kotor with wonderful views as we walked up the many stairs to the old church above the town. Our guide recommended Scala for lunch and it was a wonderful choice. Good way to spend the day.
Nino was an excellent guide and driver. This is a must if staying in Dubrovnik!!! Especially if you are not moving around. The border crossing was quite easy as well. We not only got to discover a new country, but got to eat some of the best seafood in our lives, see some truly breathtaking spots. Kotor is very touristic but still extremely worth it.
An amazing experience even as a solo traveler. I’m so happy I made the time to take the excursion. My driver was amazing & provided so much history. I would take the tour again!
Enjoyed this private trip to Montenegro, we saw lots of big tour groups and it was nice not being part of them, if you want something more customized, private so you can be more relaxed and get more done then go private :) This package isn't so much a tour as there won't be a guide with you at Montenegro it's mainly a driver giving you information and history during the drive, the driver was great though his name is Ivan, made the experience perfect.
I cannot say enough about this tour and our guide, Mario. It was a fantastic day. I am very glad that we chose the private tour over group as we were able to cross the borders very quickly. Also, we were able to ask Mario questions at anytime and have great conversations. He is a wealth of knowledge. Mario brought us to beautiful viewing areas to see the Bay of Kotor. He brought us to the village of Perast which is adorable and we arrived prior to the cruise shippers coming in so we did not have to deal with the crowds. Mario also drove us through a picturesque village with homes and streets right along the bay. We talked to others after our tour and learned that they did not receive the same service or highlights as we did. We of course did Old Town in Kotor which was beautiful. We enjoyed the trip so much that we requested Mario for the next day to Mostar, Bosnia and the waterfall. Again, another great day. He is great with timing as well. We felt we weren’t rushed nor did we feel that we were somewhere for too long of a time period. Mario has a great personality, has incredible knowledge of history and culture, and shared many stories and experiences about the areas. We had such a comfortable and enjoyable time with him. Thank you Mario!
We decided to arrange for a private tour to Montenegro and we were not disappointed. Our guide Drazen was perfect in every way. He was extremely knowledgeable and very flexible with the itinerary. There was a cruise ship in Kotor so we rearranged the schedule a bit to avoid the center while the ship was in port. He also recommended an excellent place for lunch. We were very satisfied with the tour and especially with Drazen!
Interesting and beautiful trip to Montenegro We learned from your history, your culture We liked the villages by the sea Good responsible driver and entertaining very professional
