Hannah the tour guide, was excellent, The borders at Croatia and Montenegro was quick and easy. The weather was lovely. I enjoyed the tour of the old town in Montenegro.

We had a great day out to Montenegro. We went to Kotor and also to Perast and Our Lady of the rocks island. Our guide was ok but I wouldn't say very informative and difficult to understand . We got through customs quickly in the morning but had a delay of over a hour coming back in afternoon. It was a worthwhile trip, Kotor is a beautiful city, although very busy with cruise ship passengers. It was lovely to see it though. Great if you like cats! The island is nice, worth a short visit and Perast is also a lovely village, not much to see but we only had 40min there. All in all I would recommend the day out.
Fantastic coordination and well paced. The ride didnt feel long at all as it was 45 mins to the border and another 30 mins to the spots.
The tour was explained pretty much exactly right. It’s truly beautiful scenery. The climb up the St Nicholas Tower in Perast was worth it for the views but you need to be able to sustain small cramped stairways. There’s a lot of tourists who visit this place. We enjoyed being on the ferry going to Lady of the rocks and then onto Bay of Kotor. Fresh produce in the market in Kotor machine was a highlight for us.
Day trip to Bay of Kotor from Cavtat. This was a really well run trip with our guide Hanna running the day like clockwork. Information provided by her was very useful and she was passionate about the history of Croatia and the region itself. The border crossing into Montenegro was fairly hassle free despite the worries that one had. The bus trip was also comfortable and organised. Kotor itself was very beautiful but the numbers of people there with cruise ships etc dis impact on this a little. Plenty of free time to explore though so that was nice. The visit to The Lady of the Rocks was also a lovely trip that was included in the price. It was a very long day but it was well organised, really well led and was somewhere where we have always wanted to see. A very good experience overall and would recommend it to visitors of Cavtat.
Absolutely terrible. We paid for a “boat tour” around the bay of Kotor. It was essentially a ferry. It doesn’t stop along the coast to let you swim or jump off like we had thought. Food is not included as you would assume (that’s our fault for not reading the website). To go to the caves is an extra €10 per person on top of the €40. There was barely any seating as it was so crowded, like group had to split up and share tables with other people. We tried to jump off the boat when it stopped at a pebble beach and they said no it’s too dangerous, although just minutes before the boat crew were jumping off! An hour and a half is not enough time to explore Kotor. So disappointing and wish I had booked a different company, don’t waste your time.
Excellent trip , fabulous scenery, brilliant coach driver and tour guide. The trip on its own is definitely worth doing and I would highly recommend it. The only downside was waiting to get through the border crossing ( Croatia side ) on the way back for 3.5 hours and not being able to use the restroom.
We really enjoyed this trip. Combining the bus ride with the boat tour and the walking tour of Kotor provided a variety of enjoyable experiences. The trip was well organized, efficient and kept to a good time schedule. Of course, crossing the border twice in a day took up time. But, everyone was patient and things went smoothly.
Enjoyed the coach trip around Kotor bay. The tour guide was very informative and friendly. She told us about Montenegro and Kotor. The local tour guide in Kotor was good and made the visit that more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this trip.
Wonderful day in Kotor, I want to highlight the good vibes of Andrea and the other girl whose name I don't remember although the tour is in English the girls also speak Spanish and if you have any questions or didn't understand something in English they will gladly clarify it for you in Spanish, the only thing you have to keep in mind is that you have to be a little patient at the border, it went well for us but it can be delayed, again I reiterate the good vibes of the two girls and the bus driver!
Great way to spend the day and get to see other countries. Tour guide was very good and informative.
Ollie was a fantastic host! She was enthusiastic and her instructions on where to meet in Kotor, Prevast and the island plus at what time, were super! The border crossing was very slow (90 min in morning and 2 hours returning) due to tourist volume. We loved Prevast the most as quaint and picturesque. Kotor was stifling hot and super busy plus walls radiate heat so come prepared.
Great tour. The female tour guide Olie was so knowledgeable, Vibrant and enthusiastic to delivery a lot of cultural information about Croatia.
This tour was ok but personally would be improved by a longer time in Kotor old town and cutting out the lady of the rock visit. We only had around 2 hrs before we had to get bus back at 14.30. Perast is pretty but basically a ferry stop for the boat and the lady of the rock can clearly be seen from the road. There’s also a 3 euro charge to go into the small church-not much to see. Kotor bay is beautiful and is a natural fjord. Boat took around 45min. Border back was quick but waited 40 min on way out. Aircon on bus wasn’t good and it was 33’. It all felt a bit rushed.
My husband and I took this tour on our first full day in Croatia. We learned so much and loved our guide and driver. There was plenty of time to visit each site. I was happily surised to find out that the boat we took to the island also took us directly to Kotor. The wait at the boarder went by quickly and we were lucky on our return to only have a 25 minute wait! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area for the first time.
Very enjoyable day out, the tour guide was very knowledgeable, I would definitely recommend the trip,
Amazing scenery. It was worth the amount of time (roughly 75 minutes) we had to wait at the border on the way back to Croatia. The guide was competent at her job.
Scenerypoint was amazing. Huge mountains and forests. Sea lovely colour. Quick going thru border. Kotor beautiful and very busy. Did the 1350 steps up to the view point. Worth it.
Well organised and informative guide and trip to Kotor. Personally I could have done without the boat trip to the island, seemed a little pointless as you could see it easily enough from the road. Would recommend trip
It was a beautiful place. The guides were so nice and shared a lot of information with us, was really interesting. Would recommend to go to Montenegro when visiting Croatia.
Outstanding vegetarian and vegan options and good food and service all round. This place has a great buzz and is popular with locals. It is situated just beyond the old city walls but is an easy and safe walk for those staying in the old town. We loved it so much we went back and it was equally wonderful. Highly recommended.
Amazing day , Laura the guide was very knowledgable and made everyone feel at ease , would 10000% visit this place if given the chance … picked up 7:20 at cavtat home for 6:30pm 👍
Excellent trip from start to finish. Well organised and perfect amount time in each place. TJ our tour guide was fantastic and had great knowledge and kept the day fun. Best tour guide ever!
Wow what and amazing trip, the scenery is amazing, if you get a good day and plenty of sunshine you will not be disappointed. The trip is quite long via coach from Cavtat, first stop is Perest in Montenegro, it’s a lovely Italian themed resort with crystal clear waters and a few shops and restaurants to wander past, part of our trip was also a visit to The Lady of the Rock which is a small church on and island just off the Perest shore. We spent an hour on there admiring the views around us. We then ventured via boat into Kotor Bay, it was busy and could only imagine when a cruise liner is docked how much busier it can be. The old city is worth a visit, there are plenty of shops and various types and restaurants. The walls are worth a wander and the walk up to the mountain top fort would be worth a trip even if we didn’t get time to do it ourselves. It was definitely worth the low cost for a full day out.
OMG, the tour was soo amazing. Especially in this october warmth too. The only downside is the long wait at the border, to and from. Wasn't rushed either, so u had plenty of time to look around.
Great day trip to Kotor bay , we were picked up in Cavtat right on time. Border was a bit of a pain waiting to cross but when we got to Kotor it was worth it. Scenery was beautiful Kotor was a lovely little town with narrow streets full of souvenir shops and restaurants and of course cats. We had a half hour guided tour included in price in Kotor then a boat ride out to the lady of the rock. Good value for money.
The entire trip was brilliant from start to finish. Very well organised, perfect. We went into Montenegro and had a guided tour which was great then an amazing boat trip to the Lady of the Rock and on to Perust wonderful day
Great experience our guide Sandra did an amazing job and is a very kind person! Very well organised by company. You stop at a gas station before we cross the border but bring tissues as no toilet in any of the stalls!!! Apart from that which is out of company control I have no faults for the trip! Would use this company again
Don’t go on this trip. You will spend hours on the bus. We spent 4 hours at the border for no reason. The bus has no toilet. Ridiculous! Very little info provided by the tour guide about the area. Disappointing! Kotor is interesting but not worth the money or the hours waiting.
I loved the boat ride to Kotor and the free time to explore. The water and mountains were a beautiful sight.
Our start was bad as we were given the wrong time and pick up place!!! We were called by the tour half an hour before our pick up time to say we were late!! So a rushed fraught start. We were eventually taken to the coach. Luckily the tour staff were great, as was the trip overall. It’s long but worth it and we had a lovely day in Montenegro. Loved the boat trip, very peaceful. Perast and Kotor are well worth visiting.
The tour of the old town was great, the port was lovely in kotor…. The boat trip was great and loved the beautiful island 🥰
This was amazing! The host was such a lovely woman, very helpful :) I would say to be prepared for wait times at the border, very lovely tour
Excellent area and beautiful scenery. However, the tour was lacking. The second guide, in Kotor town, who's name may have been Rita, was very challenging to hear (partly due to language barrier, and partly simply because she did not project her voice) did not wait for participants to arrive before speaking, and generally seemed impatient with participants. Unfortunately we left feeling a bit like cattle being herded through the tour and not enough time to enjoy.
Very good day out, long but worth it! Tour guide in Montenegro was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable! The wine alone is definitely worth the day trip !
The trip was excellent. So well organised and the guides were very very informative. The timings all worked out perfectly with the early start getting us back to Cavtat by 5pm.
Good day overall. Almost got stranded as coach was setting off as we approached even though we weren't late. Had to run and knock on side of coach. No numbers checked?
Friendly informative guide and driver. Comfortable bus. The best tour out of 3 that i have taken here by far. V enjoyable day
Kotor is a very beautiful ancient town with examples of varied cultural and historical architectures. A lovely day trip
This was a fantastic trip with beautiful scenery around Perast, Our lady of the Rock and the Bay of Kotor - really breathtaking views. Both tour guides were brilliant, very knowledgeable and funny making the whole experience very relaxed. The only downside was the queues into and out of the Croatian border, it took 5 hours to return to dubrovnik due to the traffic at this border point. This took away from the trip slightly and something to bare in mind when booking.
We took a trip to Montenegro from Cavtat as a family. Set off at 9:15, did a couple of hotel pickups and headed to border. After border we did short trip to Lady on the Rock and afterwards went to Kotor. The guide in Kotar was funny and informative. We got about 2.5 hours to look about and visited the Cat Museum. We managed to get a decent meal for 5 for about 110 Euro. After the Kotor visit we headed back to Cavtat. On the way back the border queue was enormous. It took over 2 hours to get through back into Croatia. I had to take a pit stop for the loo at the border. The toilet was worse than trainspotting. The tour guide was helpful and fun. The coach was comfortable but man.... what a long expensive trip for a few hours. At best this was a 3/5 experience. We were not warned about the potential huge delays at the border. On that basis do not do the trip in busy times unless you have an obsession to see Montenegro.
We didn't do the tour as it had been a long journey. Could have done with a little longer at Perast. Montenegro was beautiful.
Really good trip, organisation top notch. Kotor, Montenegro was beautiful. Boat tour picturesque. Definitely recommend.
You have to be up early for this one if your coming from Dubrovnik, we were picked up at cavtat on the way so got a little longer in bed , bus was on time and we were met by our guide for the day who's name unfortunately has escaped me but she was very good at keeping us informed and on time at every stop, the border crossing is a pain and takes at least 30 minutes but could take twice as long as that depending on traffic both ways, an hour is not out of the question, also be aware lots of buses and the dreaded cruise ships will be doing the same thing to Kotor so it is extremely busy like Dubrovnik, lots of beautiful scenery and the boat trip helps cool you down if a little slow, Kotor is a lovely walled city like Dubrovnik lots of places to eat, but you cant escape the crowds, it was a good day out but a hot and long trip especially if you are coming from Dubrovnik
Kotor was lovely had a great lunch and explore. Would have much preferred a later start to the trip as was up very early and could have finished later in the day.
Beautiful scenery and wonderful place to visit but be prepared for long waits on border crossings between EU and Montenegro
A comfortable minibus ride, with a knowledgeable and friendly driver. I learned many things about the region and its history while admiring views. We were lucky because the border crossing went smoothly and did not take long. Also, the quick walking tour in Kotor was very nice and informative! All in all, a great day activity.
Lovely trip to Montenegro and Kotor. Scenery was amazing and the setting was beautiful. We drove through Montenegro and stopped off briefly in Perast. This is a gorgeous town with lots of character. Wherever you looked it was beautiful. We then went by boat to The Lady of the Rocks which was lovely. Our next visit was to Kotor by boat. Kotor was also amazing. There was such a lot to see, fantastic buildings and lovely little shops and cafes. The only downside to the day was the long wait going through border control.
Priest and kotor was amazing places to visit. Just watch out at the montenegro border as they have tourist prices at Perla cafe tells you on the menu price but not the same what they charge
Tour guide rude and disrespectful continously requesting extra money. Arrived to lady of the rocks was unable to view church due to scheduling conflicts to many visitors on rock. Lady if the rocks has 2 bathrooms both were nasty. Old Town was nice but overall experience was poor.
