The driver and company were great. I have rate the trip at 2 stars since it simply not worth the time. The day is basically spent driving and crossing borders. Spend the day enjoying Dubrovnik.

Itinerary
Scenic drive along the Bay of Kotor passing villages Bijela, Kamenari, Verige (photo-stop), Morinj, and Risan before arrival in Perast. The guide explains the history of Montenegro, its culture, people, customs, food, and wine.
Short photo-stop at the viewpoint near Perast. Marvel at the stunning scenery of Kotor Bay with the islands of Saint George and Our Lady of the Rocks in front.
Admire this iconic man-made island and its 17th-century baroque church from the scenic Perast shoreline. It is one of the most photographed maritime landmarks in the Adriatic, steeped in local legend and history.
Upon arrival in Kotor, once an independent city-state, and from the 14th century under Venetian influence, you will have time to explore its narrow streets, sunny squares, and churches, followed by time for lunch (optional). We recommend entering Saint Tryphon Cathedral, Saint Nicolas Orthodox Church (free), and climbing Kotor town walls at Kampana Tower (free)
Discover this elegant 16th-century Ottoman masterpiece, an architectural gem featuring distinct stone arches over the Trebisnjica River. It remains one of the most significant historical landmarks in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a perfect spot for photography.
Your guide will explain how the city of Trebinje grew over the centuries. Visit the Old Town of Trebinje and its wide 19th-century Austrian alleys and squares, covered by the thick shade of Great Plane Trees. Visit the 17th-century Ottoman Turkish walled part of the city and enter through an auxiliary town gate to the Trebisnjica riverfront. Learn about the Bosnian way of life, people, customs, and its delicious food. If you did not have lunch already, try a portion of Chevapcici (meat sticks in Pita bread with cream cheese), or taste some of the local sweets such as baklava or urmasica.
Climb up the Hercegovacka Gracanica hill for great panoramic views of the whole town of Trebinje area, Friars' field, Trebisnjica River, and Leotar mountain in the back. Enter the church of the Holy Annunciation (free) and marvel at the ceiling frescoes and huge golden chandeliers.

Miho was a knowledgeable, professional, and experienced guide. We packed a lot into a short day trip and he made the entire experience comfortable and smooth. We learned a lot about each of the areas we visited and had plenty of opportunities to take photos & ask questions. We would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking to explore the area!
It was a. Beautiful route and plenty to see and enjoy. Our guide did a very good job telling us many historical post war activities.
We had an great day our driver and guild Kristina was fantastic She was so knowledgeable and informative she was so happy to help and pointed out things of interest and answered questions She is a asset to the company Would highly recommended the trip
Montenegro and Bosnia were beautiful countries. The coastline driving through Perast and Kotor were stunning and the mountain vistas of Bosnia were majestic. We want to give a special shoutout to our driver Baldo. He was a very good driver and knowledgeable tour guide. He was patient with us when we were taking more time to take pictures and get some souvenirs.
Great guide, very experienced in speaking about historical events. All went well with the pickup and delivery of passeo
Greta trip, but needs more time in Kotor and especially in Trebinje. One hour is not enough to have lunch in Trebinje as restaurants are slow. Also you need to warn travelers to bring cash to Trebinje. Tour guide/driver Kristina was excellent .
If you want to check off two new countries visited while you are in Dubrovnik, this trip is for you. The tour takes you to Montenegro and then Bosnia-Herzegovina in about 9 hours. Our private tour guide, Kristina, seamlessly drove us through several border checkpoints. Along the way, she recounted the history of the region and other timely facts about the places we visited. Going private with this tour is well worth the expense when you have a knowledgeable guide like Kristina, who is also a great conversationalist. Be sure to bring your passports and you’ll have a great time!
Wonderful day trip exploring Montenegro and Bosnia- absolutely 5 stars! Our guide was informative and helpful.
Baldo is the man! Amazing tour of three countries but Baldo, our driver and guide, really made the trip memorable. Delicious food and coffee as well as a new friend in Baldo! Must do if in the area!
We went on a tour from Croatia to Montenegro and Bosnia Herzegovina on Oct 2, 2026 and it was the best tour we have been on. We have went on at least 100 tours and this one was well above the rest. Our tour guide was very kind and knowledgeable about everywhere that we passed on the tour. The views that we stopped and saw were breathtaking and I would highly recommend taking this tour. 5+stars!!
Great correspondence and a time was arranged to pick us up from our hotel. Small group of 6 people. Driver was very informative and explained the agenda for the day. Every stop we made we were given some history. Getting from country to country was very easy - just remember your passport. The driver had arranged a guide for us in Montenegro with history of the old town we visited. Then we had a couple of hours spare time to wander on our own. Montenegro is beautiful and the photos we took don’t do it justice. We visited another town in Bosnia and had lunch before heading back to Dubrovnik. Would definitely recommend this trip.
This your is a good way to see two countries in one day. A little pricey but convenient. Bottled waters and snacks would have been appreciated on such a long tour. Our tour guide was very nice. She even stopped and bought us figs in Bosnia.
Our tour was cut short by an hour and a half due to a flat tire on our tour vehicle. We barely had one hour in the city center in Montenegro and one hour in the city center of Bosnia- not even enough time to eat. We were so rushed and didn't have time to shop, look around, or enjoy the towns. I felt like the trip should have been extended as we literally had to wait 90 minutes for the tire on our van to be repaired. We also spent way too much time at a scenic overlook in Bosnia waiting for the other people on our tour to shop and look around instead of enjoying the actual town. Our tour guide was very nice, but we felt ripped off.
Wonderful tour with Miho. This tour offered us a chance to see a little bit of two countries that we would not normally have an opportunity to see, and learn more about the history of the region. Highly recommend.
Great way to see both Montenegro and Bosnia in one day! Our guide Dora was very prompt, professional, and accommodating. She was a very safe driver as well. Kotor and Trebinje are charming little towns definitely worth seeing. This tour was hassle-free and worth going on!
It was interesting to have 2 country experiences in 1 day - from a cobblestone fort walled, cute town in Montenegro, to the top of a mountain overlooking Bosnia’s City & River while going into a Monastery where an important Poet was buried. Christina, our guide was lovely & very informative.
Our guide was great! She was happy and knowledgeable. Doesn’t get any better than that!
Vera our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the history of the cities to life with amazing stories. She answered all of our questions effortlessly and kept the entire group engaged from start to finish. You can tell they truly love what she does. Highly recommend!"
Great experience and our guide Christina was amazing! Wonderful having time to check out and hang out in Kotor and Trebinje for 1-2 hours each.
This was an excellent day trip. And as is almost always the case, the itinerary and the guide/driver are the two things that make it so. The locations were obviously great, but Miho really took it up a notch. His personal knowledge was immense and he’s just great company to be with in full day trip!
We had an amazing experience with Miho on our tours to Bosnia and Montenegro! From beginning to end, he was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, polite, and genuinely pleasant to be around. He shared so much interesting history and local knowledge, answered all of our questions, and made every part of the trip enjoyable and easy. You can really tell that he knows the region extremely well and takes pride in making sure his guests have a great experience. He was patient, attentive, friendly, and always made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. We learned so much while also having a lot of fun along the way. Miho truly made our visits to Bosnia and Montenegro even more memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and would absolutely recommend him to anyone visiting the region. Thank you, Miho, for such a wonderful experience!
The experience was everything we had hoped it would be, but our guide mijo made it a truly exceptional experience. His military background was a huge plus as it put much context on the trip and the history of Croatia. He has a great sense of humor and delivered a history lesson very fluidly. He is a true asset to your tour business
Our day with Miho was fantastic our guide was full of fun stories and engaging insights of local history and the geography. The wine spots were well picked and real amazing experiences especially the last stop (vrhunsco) was great to hang out with the owner he is such an inspiration. Definitely recommend!!!
Our guide Miho was fantastic, great driver throughout the whole trip. We had seamless border crossings and it was fascinating to see both Bosnia and Montenegro, along hearing our guide's commentary and perspective. Highly recommend!
very nice guide and very good experience
Joe was an excellent guide for trip. Very knowledgeable and helpful. A must trip for the scenery and culture.
It was great to get a taster of two countries in one day. We were lucky that there was only three of us so it felt like a private tour because we went by car. This made it very good value. Our driver was knowledgeable and friendly without being intrusive. We were worried about border wait times but they were much better than I thought. We only had about an hour and a half in each country but it was well worth doing because you get to travel through the landscape and learn about the history.
To start off, I don’t think Our driver was qualified to drive. She was very aggressive and always in big rush. As a matter of fact, we ended up getting into a car accident and our tour got delayed. The moment l got in the car, she was all in a big hurry and rushing everyone. Even though she showed up 10 minutes late. I feel certain that we are going to get into a car crash based on the way she was driving. Even though the accident was NOT completely her fault She could’ve easily prevented it. but I think she lack the experience all she was really having a real bad day. Also, she shares a lot of her personal negative opinions about other people lifestyle and religions, which I thought was not professional. I went to Christian schools most of my life, and I lived in a Muslim country and it is sad to see how the opinion that was shared was not even accurate or close to the reality.
We had Luka for our tour. Felt very safe and he was very good about knowing which boarders to cross which made a huge difference. We never waited more than 5-15 minutes at the borders. It’s a long day but worth it. You get to see several towns and have plenty of time at each. Definitely recommend for those with the wanderlust bug.
Great day out with lots to see and do, very good to see a snapshot of both areas, with a little time to wonder around.
We had a wonderful family trip today with Miho. He was very knowledgeable & quite witty. He provided many historical facts of all three countries. Would highly recommend.
Kristina was absolutely fantastic! A great guide who was enjoyable and provided great insight into the area and its history. She was very flexible, provided great recommendations, and the day was the highlight of our trip!
Jusip made this trip so memorable. Great guy , very comfortable car. It was just the two of us . He was very knowledgeable about the Balkans and a super driver
I recently enjoyed an amazing tour of Montenegro and Bosnia with our private guide, Miho. His deep knowledge of each country's history, combined with his great sense of humor, made the experience truly memorable. Although the drive was long, Miho kept us entertained and laughing, which made the journey a lot of fun. I highly recommend this tour!
A must-do if you have the time. Our guide was great and one of the best drivers I’ve ever seen. It was interesting to visit two additional countries all in one day.
Great private tour. Well worth doing and our tour guide was really friendly and informative. Definitely recommend
The trip was quiet long but sensational. I would love to spend some more hours in Sarajevo. Didn’t have time for not even one museum
We had a fantastic day with our guide, Miho. He was a skilled driver and knowledgable guide. He knows a lot about history and wine, too! We went on a Saturday, which made us wary of very long border crossing lines. Miho was well-aware of this and expertly avoided any long delays. Miho was personable, entertaining, and a highly experienced guide. We loved visiting all three sights, all unique in their own way. We highly recommend this tour, especially if Miho can be your guide.
This was a great tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and helped us better understand the region. We traveled w our four children ages 10-17 and everyone loved it.
What a great way to see two different countries in one day!! We had Kristina as our guide and she is great! She Gave us lots of knowledge and key things to see and places to eat at our stops, border crossings where easy and not to long of a wait. Highly recommend if you have a spare day and want to be driven around in a nice air conditioned car seeing some different towns and countries.
We had a great tour with Kristina! So many beautiful sights and cultural insights. Really grateful we booked this tour.
Great day trip! Bosnia was beautiful and Kotor Montenegro even better. Our guide Baldo was funny, personable and knew how to get across all borders in the least amount of time which enabled us to see more sights. It was a great day!!!
It was a fantastic trip, Christina was an excellent guide and drove us so well to Montenegro and Bosnia and also kept telling us history and culture and about all the places we visited. She was extremely helpful and was a very pleasant personality. She is very knowledgeable and made every effort to make our trip really smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended.
I highly recommend this tour if you want to experience Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina in one day from Dubrovnik. You stop at some great spots in both countries, and the tour guide keeps everything moving smoothly, making the border crossings feel seamless and stress-free.
Guide was wonderful and witty. He was a wealth of knowledge about the area and history. He was very informative.
This experience includes a LOT of driving time and long border crossings but it was enjoyable and met our goal of seeing both countries. Old town Kotor is incredible.
Simply amazing day trip through the cost and country side of Montenegro and Bosnia. We learned so much history and saw so many cool sites. We loved the stop in Kotor (the city of cats). Everything about this trip was done so well. If you're looking to learn a lot about countries that you may not have thought to visit, this is the perfect tour!
Chose this trip as it’s a small group (8 max) and therefore queuing is reduced massively at the borders and when going through the entry/exit systems. If you’re on a coach of 50 then I hope you’re patient! Baldo (apologies if I’ve got the name wrong) was a fantastic guide and driver. Was able to provide lots of interesting history and facts as well as personal stories and experiences. It was great to be able to visit Montenegro (had John as a guide there who was brilliant) and Bosnia in one day. Some amazing scenery and lunch was good - bear in mind it’s not until around 3.15pm so take plenty of snacks and water as it’s an early start. Would thoroughly recommend this tour.
The tour guide was very good and accommodating. He was also smart enough to get us on the road early to avoid long lines at the boarder. The only "down fall" was that my crew and I was highly excited about going to Bosnia as the description said but we ended up in a different area. We could not get magnets that says "Bosnia" I think the name should be changed.
