Itinerary
Ston is a beautiful little town in the Dubrovnik region, at the southern end of the Pelješac peninsula. Famous for producing the best oysters in the World, for the ancient salt pans that are still working and the spectacular 7 km long City walls.
Pelješac is a scenic peninsula that stretches into the Adriatic Sea, best known for wine-making and beautiful hidden beaches. The Mediterranean vegetation and picturesque vineyards that cling to the rocky hillsides will make a great impression on you.
One of the most beautiful islands in Croatia and very rich in history and tradition. Korčula town, said to be the birth place of Marco Polo, is a beautiful walled city that is simply a must-visit.

We had a fantastic day visiting Ston. Orebic and Korcula. Carmen was our guide and she was fabulous. She talked about Croation history in general (very interesting) and specifically on the places we visited. She was really informative and made it fun with great humor. Carmen was very caring and thoughtful and helped us in lots of ways. The tour was 75 euro. Which I consider a fair price. We were picked up from The President Hotel in Lapad, visited a couple of places for one hour each before getting the boat to Korcula. We loved Korcula. It had a lovely vibe, reminiscent of Italy. We didn't get a chance to walk the wall and climb all those steps, but maybe another time. We walked up the steps into the old town and browsed the many shops. We then had lunch overlooking the sea, in one of the lovely restaurants on that particular stretch. On our journey home we stopped at a family vineyard to taste some wine, it was fun and no pressure to buy. At the end of the day we were dropped off at the President Hotel, very near to our own hotel. Overall a very enjoyable dsy with a fantastic guide and driver, who took us safely around the windy mountain roads. The timings were perfect and everything went smoothly.
Amazing experience! Very well organised and not rused at all! Totally worth to try it out and highly recommended!! Carmen, the guide, was super helpful in all possible ways:)
Everything was run to clockwork timing, the information given was excellent, and the wine tasting upgrade was very good.
Carlos was excellent...creative .and patient..we visited many areas along the coast...Stone.. arboretum...and mall
It was a nice way to spend a day. The guide Roza was very nice. Korčula was very beautiful. The wine and liqueur tasting was fun. But I have a couple of criticisms. It was not stated that the tour would be both in English and Spanish and it got a bit tiring to listen to the guide in both languages. Then in the itinerary it said it was a guided tour of Korčula, but the guide just told us a few words in the bus and then showed us the meeting point in Korčula and that was it. Lastly, I think the stop in Ston is not needed because there is not enough time to really do any activities there in the short time. I think it would be better to lenghten the stay in Korčula. In the end it was a pleasant trip, but I expected a little bit more
Our group of 6 set off in a comfortable minibus, having been picked up from our hotel by our pleasant, patient and knowledgeable guide and driver, Ivan. An amazing, full day was in store for us! Through stunning scenery we were driven to the beautiful, old, little town of Ston where we had free time to wander the narrow streets and alleyways, view the amazing city walls and sit in the sun at one of the pavement cafés. Continuing on our wonderfully scenic, coastal journey along the Peljesac peninsula, with Ivan giving us lots of interesting information and answering our many questions en route, we arrived at Orebic where a small craft awaited to carry us on the short boat ride across the channel to the picturesque town and island of Korcula. We were met there by a local guide who led us on an informative and entertaining city tour within the walls of the town she obviously loved! There was then free time to further explore and to choose a restaurant for a leisurely lunch break. Having then returned by boat to Orebic, we rejoined Ivan and our minibus and journeyed back towards Dubrovnik with a pleasant stop at one of the many local wineries for a tour of the cellars and a complimentary wine tasting. I highly recommend this tour, the company Adriatic Explore, and our excellent guide Ivan. On this holiday we only managed to fit in one of the many tours that Adriatic Explore offer, but they'll be our first choice to book with if/when hopefully we return to this beautiful area!
I took a private boat tour with this company, and they did a fabulous job. They were very nice, were very knowledgeable about the islands, the bays & inlets, and most importantly, knew the secret places to go which were not crowded. I went swimming and snorkeling in beautiful places, and it was peaceful, tranquil and lovely. The crew on the ship had quality refreshments and beverages, and we stopped at some islands along the way which were cool and not just touristy. I strongly recommend you use this company if you want to go for a great boat experience in the Adriatic Sea along the Croatian coast. Their boats are clearly well-maintained, they let me know immediately about all the safety measures upon getting on the boat, and everything was handled professionally. I give this company 10 stars
The forecast was not good but we decided to go anyway. When Jure met us at our hotel he told us we would have a nice time and we did. OK, we did get a bit wet when we visited the city of Ston but the scenery en route to Korcula Island is lovely. The weather soon cleared and we had an enjoyable 3 hours on the island. The visit to the Winery was excellent too. Overall it was a great trip. Jure and the guide are very pleasant and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with others in our group.
If you are staying in Dubrovnik and love the city, then you will also love to experience the scenery en route to the beautiful island of Korcula, and spend time in the old town of Korcula itself. The tour also includes a stop for a wine tasting, which is good fun too. Our guides were really knowledgeable and fun, and our driver, Jure, helped to develop a friendly atmosphere in our small group (of 8) throughout the tour.
Although the tour description says a "small group tour", we had more than 50 people on the big tour bus (all seats were taken), which does not qualify as a small group. The day was very long and my suggestion would be to eliminate the stop at the winery. Their wine (both whites and reds) was undrinkable, tasted like vinegar. Many people in our group were dumping it after one sip. If I knew the tour size would be so big, we would have taken a trip to Korcula on our own. It's a beautiful island with lovely beaches around it.
It was not really a wine tour since it included only one winery stop at the end so it should be named appropriately to avoid the confusion. Overall, very relaxing tour with a lot of free time given. It was a great way to escape a crazy crowd in overheated Dubrovnik and see what a countryside looks like.
An hour at Ston early in the morning, salt mines, city walls, coffee break. Short, easy ferry to Corcula and brief city tour introduction before 2 1/2 hours of free time there to eat, swim or explore. Great little place to explore, you can’t get lost. Amazing blue water all around. Davor was an excellent tour guide, the perfect balance between explaining and leaving us to our own devices. Perfect amount and quality of information, excellent English - and Spanish. Everything went exactly as planned. Wine tour in cellar was brief but fun, we tasted 5 wines and learned about the special regional traditions. We were able to explore the cellar which had many interesting old and new items. Several hours total in bus on many windy roads, with lovely views, air conditioning should have been higher. Back to Dubrovnik by 5:30, easy drop-off appreciated as they divided bus up into groups and had bans take us more directly back instead of to each hotel. Very relaxing and fun day overall. Corcula is for good reason recommended, a highlight of our trip for sure!
Great tour Ivan our driver got us there and back safely and a head of time. ANTE OR large croatian guide was great his passion for Croatia and its history was obvious and his own stories of his childhood growing up in the county were both touching and informative he has a good grasp of English and a good sense of humour. He and Ivan made us feel welcome and gave us plenty information it was good in Ston and Kocula yes more time would have been great but that's because there great places to visit. The wine visit part of the tour was very good delivered well and great wine. Thank you so much Ante great tour and great to have shared the journey with you.
We don't usually take group tours but chose this one as it was the easiest way to see Korcula and the peninsula with the kids. The communication before hand was prompt and helpful. We were picked up on time from the stated location. Our guide Ante was really hard working, friendly and helpful. He gave the right amount of information and a couple of good stories. The driver Ivan was safe. The tour was really good - the stop in Ston was a little short but a lot of restoration work is being undertaken in the town. We had c 3 hours in Korcula which was perfect and the vineyard stop was also for the right length of time. The drop off also went smoothly. All in all a very good day out. thank you Ante and Ivan!
I went on this excursion with my boyfriend, we took a premier bus and on the drive to Korcula the tour guide gave some history of Dubrovnik and Korcula on the way. The English was impeccable and the vocabulary used was impressive. Once we got there we had a quick tour of Korcula within the city walls. After that we walked around and had a great meal. They were right about the white wine being the best from Korcula! On the ride back we stopped at a winery and tried maybe 7 wines and brandies. If you buy wine, they package them in bubble wrap for you. Got back by 18:00. Great trip! Korcula island is not as crowded or as touristy when we went than old town which was a plus!
We did this 2 days before returning home. Anna Marie was our guide...and have to say really made the day!....superb English and really knowledgable...about Crotia...the history, area and all the buildings we visited. This tour is great if you enjoy variety....historic buildings, great beaches and locations...and of course wine tasting! Be prepared for quite some time on a bus..however it’s very comfortable...and plenty of scenery ..along with Anna great commentary. The trip to Stone is good to see the wall and salt production...however the island trip is stunning. Just enough time to see the buildings, enjoy lunch at the variety of restaurants and even get some time near the water.
Exelent guide, very knowledgeable. Interesting tour. To put on the list of to do. Safe bus driver made the trip very comfortable.
Overall, I rate the Korcula component as excellent but the wine tour component did not impress. Korcula is beautiful and offers much history, including the jailing of Marco Polo and the rivalry between Genoa and Croatia. I suspect the wine country tour did not live up to expectations because we were visiting at the end of the season when the vines have already been harvested. The guide Anna Maria was superb: knowledgeable and with a vivacious personality,

Trip was more to visit the towns of Ston which has a neat walledfortification and Korcula which is a gorgeous island , great promenade for restaurants and a small old town . We had one of the most relaxing lunches there Last stop was at the Matuscka winery which had one white two red, a sweet wine ,cherry and a grappa for tasting. Overall ,nice trip but was expecting more wine tasting We did spend over about 4 hrs total driving from location to location .Guide was informative

This was not the tour that I booked. Instead of a Small-Group Wine Tour It was a large group tour with a short stop at a winery. Instead of a mini-van we had a tour bus that fit the 40 plus tourists. The guide provided the history of the area But, it was a lecture. He was not accessible due to the size of the group. We stopped at one winery on the way home from Korcula. There was a scripted presentation of the wine. Because of the size of the group, we weren't give an opportunity to ask questions. It felt rushed. I would have liked to have had time to sit and enjoy the view with a glass of wine. We were also warned not to have a drink because of the long road home. Had I known that this was going to be a large group tour, I would NOT have booked it.

What a great trip! Excellent guide and you also go to Ston- famous walled village they hold a marathon running the wall which made me tired just thinking about it with salt making and assorted seafoods. Then off to Korcula which is fabulous- short boat trip, barely touristy compared with Dubrovnik and just delightful to wander around. Visit to a vineyard/winery on the way back is ok but definitely not the highlight. This is a trip you'd consider doing again.

I have worked years as a guide, tour operator rep and been some 15 years in the tourist business. I was very much deceived by this 'Small-Group Wine Tour'. I do not consider 28 persons as a small-group tour. We were fully occupying a mid sized bus almost to the last seat. We were constantly waiting for late persons at departure several hotels, at Ston as well as in Korçula.

Our guide was quite OK and informative, though the information for a professional person was shallow. Transfers Dubrovnik - Ston / Peljesac winery - Dubrovnik fairly long. Time in Korçula was good for stroll in the city lunch not included as stated. No wine tasting in Korçula. Visit to winery Matuško at Peljesac Peninsula was also OK. People got tired / restless standing through tasting. Tasting of light White wine, light Red wine, basic Red wine, local Grappa as well as a Sherry type wine. The really heavy and GOOD stuff Dingac Superior and Reservas we didn't get to taste. I barely had time to have a glass in the bar 40KUN for 0,15L of 5yrs old matured oak cask reserva 15 alc. WOW while others ran to the toilets. Enjoyed the nice wines when we got to Dubrovnik that I bought. Absolutely worth buying the good stuff 150KUN Reserva at winery as it is 270KUN at DBV airport.

Just in May we were in Florence and did a superb wine tasting Small-group tour via Viator. These tours were carried out by vans combined driver/guide and only take 8-9 people per van. Very nice

I thought this was a good tour overall. Korcula was a beautiful city to walk around and experience. The stop in Ston was interesting, although I think that could have been skipped to allow for more time in Korcula, as there really wasn't much to see or do in Ston itself. Our guide was really nice and kept us entertained with the stories and the history of the area.

Guide left us on our own most of the time. Highlight was boat crossing and meeting people in Korcula. Also, not much of a wine tour but the wine was great price so we took some home.

we had a wonderful time on this tour. the guide was very knowledgable and we felt safe with the driver, driving on some curved roads. were picked right on the dot at 8am from the hotel. first visited a small village called Ston. walked around and had coffee at a local café. then took a boat from Peljesac to go to Korchula. the guide gave a brief history of Korchula and then we wandered around the Island on our own. walked through narrow alleys up and down the stairs taking in the wonderful views. had lunch at a lovely café. sat outside and enjoyed the local activity. at 3pm, took the boat to go back to Peljesac, where we visited a vineyard. we were explained how different wines were made by a lovely lady and had a chance to taste them bought three different types of wins from there. we were back at the hotel by 5pm. it was great.
