Great day getting back to Split from Dubrovnik. Great option for traveling from Dubrovnik to Split! Drazen was an excellent and informative guide and Mostar was a beautiful and interesting cultural spot. The Old Bridge lived up to the hype! Really enjoyed a traditional Mostar lunch at Sadrvan (thanks for the rec Drazen)!
Five stars! Our 2-day transfer/tour from Dubrovnik to split via Mostar was one of the highlights of our whole trip! Incredible experience!! Drazen is amazing and the trip was everything we could have asked for. Really nice and knowledgeable driver!! I scheduled transfers to several locations using Croatia Private Tours. Miro, our driver, from Dubrovnik to Split via Mostar was very professional and personable. He was knowledgeable about the area and accommodating ie: stopping at a roadside fruit stand and allowing us extra time in Mostar.
We spent 3 wonderful days with Mario “the man with the cool red shoes”. Day 1 - Montenegro and Kotor. Day 2- drive from Dubrovnik to Split with a stop at Mostar and Kravice falls. Day 3- Visit to Brac with a stop at an olive museum. The excursions were exactly what we wanted. Learned a lot and saw a great many sites. Dubrovnik, Mostar, Castle Klis, Split. From pickup to drop off totally professional. Stipo went above and beyond to make our journey a memorable experience. Clean comfortable car. Cold bottled water supplied. Had booked Mostar but didn’t realise we needed to have a visa for Bosnia. He made phone calls to government department and made everything work for us. Informative commentary along the way. Stipo was helpful and so obligingly with any request. He even walked us with our luggage to to our hotel in Split which was inaccessible by vehicle and took us to the 3rd floor for checkin. We would not have found this ourselves. Cannot recommend this wonderful service more highly
We had a great day with Mario. The pick up was very efficient and we had a great spacious van. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and the drive was very comfortable. We loved getting to see Mostar and being able to be flexible with our time. Highly recommend over a stuffy bus tour!

You couldn't ask for a more punctual, better organized company. My two-and-a-half-year-old son and I were with Croatia Private Tours for this and 3 other day trips, and all the driver-guides were friendly and easy-going and great with my small boy. They were also knowledgeable of the history behind the sites, but also places of interest along the way. We booked two transfers with this company and found it to be punctual and efficient. The cars are very nice and the drivers both helpful and personable. Our driver on this trip gave us good tips on navigating the Mostar old town and dining choices, and we had a very pleasant visit. I would trust this transfer company again. They will get you to your destination on time and safely.

With COVID we wanted to be privately transported from Dubrovnik to Split via a stop in Mostar. Our driver, Matko, was the best in every way ( punctual, friendly, informative, considerate, flexible, and helpful).
We had a great day with Matko. Before our trip, we communicated via WhatsApp to set the pickup time and location. We also added the private oyster tasting tour. The whole drive was nice and Matko was super nice and friendly. The oyster boat tour was amazing and intimate. We had the best oysters we ever had before. Mostar old town was interesting and we had a great lunch there. The rest of the ride was smooth and nice. We got to Split by 5:30pm. Very happy

Matko was right on time in the morning and got us to Split a little earlier than expected, but without rushing through anything. He let us decide how much time to spend in each place and gave us some guidance in that regard. We saw great scenery, had a smooth and easy ride, and enjoyed Matko's company. Highly recommend!!

We highly recommend Croatia Private Tours to anyone who wants a fantastic, highly customized transfer anywhere in Croatia. Our driver was Hrvoje, who also happens to be an owner of the company. He coordinated and then kept on track several interesting stops on our way from Dubrovnik to Split including several stops around Ston (oyster beds, a winery, and the Ston salt works) and then a detour to Mostar. Hrvoje was an excellent guide/driver. He met us right on time in our designated pick up location in a clean, new, spacious van. Since we were traveling on a Saturday in peak season, Hrvoje monitored traffic on the border and we took an alternate border crossing to maximize our tour time in Mostar. The oyster bed stop was excellent. Hrvoje lined us up to visit a family that has been farming oysters in the bay for many generations. We also got to sample some excellent local wine and some of the best cheese I've ever eaten, which unfortunately you can't buy as it was obtained in a trade between the oyster grower family and the cheesemaker. We visited the Miloš winery in Ston, which was a very nice family owned winery and one of oldest family owned wineries in the region. Our final stop was in the town of Ston and the salt beds. Ston was a nice little town and the salt works were interesting. Next we headed to Mostar, where we met with our private guide, who provided us with lots of interesting information about the culture and history of Mostar. We visited a mosque and an old local home. We had a very nice lunch at a local restaurant that had tables on a patio overlooking the gorge and a great view of the bridge, which happened to be hosting a Red Bull international diving competition off of the bridge.It was insane watching them dive into the little river below the bridge. I highly recommend this company for any of your travel needs while in Croatia. They are really polite, hardworking and knowledgeable.
We arrived in Split and did a tour of the city. We then arranged for a ferry on our own to Hvar. After two days in Hvar we took the ferry to the Dubrovnik. Also booked online separately. In the Dubrovnik we had a very nice tour of the city with a brief introduction of some of the Game of Thrones sites. We enjoyed this because it was short enough And it was very hot inside the city walls. The following day Martina drove us back to Split with a stop Ston to view the walls Built to hold back the Ottomans. We did a private tour of the oyster farms and tasted fresh oysters being harvested directly from the sea which was a lot of fun. We also got to taste the local homemade wine which was wonderful. We also saw the salt producing area and had a wonderful lunch with Martino. She was extremely helpful and gave us a lot of insight of how. The local people feel and live. We would give her a six star rating if we could. We want to thank all of the guides for all of their help to make this a wonderful trip for the two of us. We drove from Dubrovnik to Split via Ston and Mostar with Damir today. He was an engaging and entertaining driver, mixing history with personal stories. We appreciated his flexibility in allowing us a little more time in Mostar and less time in Ston (we decided not to climb the walls, so there really wasn't much to do there). He was very responsive to texts, which was useful in the morning when he accidentally drove past us in Dubrovnik because we didn't realize we were meant to meet him much further down the road. It was particularly insightful and moving to hear his experiences of the Yugoslav Wars and his personal journey afterwards. He delivered us right to the door of our AirBnB in Split with much impressive navigation of the extremely narrow road (he's a native, so he assured us he's old hat at this, and he wasn't kidding) and was gracious enough to take us to an ATM in town when I realized I had miscalculated how much we owed. Highly highly rate this company! My only regret was I didn’t book our lake bled day trip with them as well! :( will recommend to my friends who are traveling soon. I was with my 60yr old parents so this suited us perfectly. Everything was at our own pace and the car is spacious, clean and nice ;) Thank you!
Instead of taking a simple trip up from Dubrovnik to Split, do try going on this tour instead. The car provided was cool and comfortable despite the extreme heat outside. Our guide was also most friendly and knowledgeable, and got us to Mostar and then to Split in good time. Along the way, we had really lovely Ston oysters. We also had plenty of time to explore Mostar. Our guide recommended a number of places to visit and eat at, all of which our family enjoyed so much so we asked for more time to do so, and he readily and patiently waited for us. It was a most memorable experience and one of the highlights of our trip.
We took private transfer from Dubrovnik to Split with side trip to Mostar and Medjugorje. Since we first communicated via emails, Hrvorje had been very patient with me who changed the schedule back and forward many times. On the day, Hrvorje himself picked us with mercedes minivan because he was not sure how many luggages we had. He drove safely and comfortably and told us a lot of information along the way. In Mostar he recommended us to have lunch at a very authentic local restaurant which turned out to provide very good food and reasonably priced.
First of all thank Mr. Harry (impossible to write his name in Croatian) for the kindness he had in keeping our reservation without prior payment as our CC did not exceed the new confirmation step that some reservations have. We stayed in touch via mail as the reservation due made well in advance. This already clearly speaks to the kind of Service they provide. The trip itself a wonder, our Božo driver, a real charm, gave us time for everything, respected our times in Medjugorje, gave us perfect directions and in some cases accompanied us to where we should go.Super nice and interesting conversation. Which is very important. I would recommend this Service always. Thank you. Everything was awesomely good!!
