Dubrovnik Shore Excursion: Game Of Thrones Tour (City Walls Ticket Included)

Very informative and fun! Our guide, Katrina, was amazing. It was fun visiting the different GOT sites. We had a lovely lunch afterwards at a restaurant recommended by our guide. It was also nice to have the Wall ticket included in the experience to explore after the official tour.

Katarina was a wonderful tour guide. She was knowledgable and enthusiastic and made the scenes from GOT really come alive. I also appreciated that she included a non-GOT historical perspective actually telling us about Dubrovnik in addition to explaining scenes from the film. I would highly recommend Katarina and this tour.

Great informative tour, the tour was paced to allow for everyone of all abilities. Lots of walking and lots of steps but never felt like hard going. The infomation provided was extensive and allowed for the tour to go into places you probably would go. Enjoyable, informative, fun!

We had a great time visiting various sites around Dubrovnik, and Lana did a fantastic job highlighting the spots that were used in the Game of Thrones seties

This tour was VERY informative. Our tour guide was very articulate and knew her history. This tour was a lot more in depth into the history of Dubrovnik as well as the history behind the filming of Game of Thrones. Definitely the highlight of our trip! Couple tips: Bring something to drink to stay hydrated Eat before going on this tour as you do a lot of walking!

Our tour guide Zoran (sp?) was excellent. He was thorough and made the GOT tour very enjoyable and exciting. He was very knowledgeable about the city & history of Dubrovnik as well. We will highly recommend him to our friends & family who may be interested in this tour.

The tour of the fort and walking the city walls were our highlights Enjoyed that historical information was also included with the Game of Thrones trivia.

Seeing the places where the show was filmed was thrilling and the guide was extraordinarily knowledgeable to the point of being almost too knowledgeable. Overwhelming detail.

What a great GOT tour! Even if you haven't watched, it still has something for everyone! Michaela was very knowledgeable, and shared a lot of interesting info. It was nice to have a small group. Definitely recommend!!

We had an excellent guide who knew GOT and the filming locations very well. Was a very well organised tour and it also showed us some areas of Dubrovnik town we wouldn’t have visited. We were also given brief history of the old town when we walked though the city walls. Would recommend.

Guide was knowledgeable and personable. Not only did she have stories about what happened during the show being shot, she also had funny snippets about how the cast acted during downtimes.

Our Guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about both the Game of Thrones and the history of Croatia making the tour very informative. He managed to take us to many fantastic sights for great pictures and seemed to always know where the shady spots were if he had to stop and explain something which I appreciated. I also appreciated that there was no forced gift shop detours.

Game of Throne walking tour was fantastic. Zoran our guide was super friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I would highly recommend this tour for G of T enthusiasts or not it was also very informative on the history of Dubrovnik.

You'll get exactly what you came for! A nice walk around the old city with highlights on filming locations of GOT. Easy to find out host, walk was at a leisurely pace, he was well prepared with scene pictures, etc.

Barbara, our tour guide is absolutely excellent, charming, & maximally accommodating to all tour guests, & she knows more about Game of Thrones than me, which is huge. Worth every Kuna we spent & more. She made the day perfect for this Superfan. And she shares all she knows, which is everything about Croatian history.

Obama was wonderful! She was very informative and knowledgeable about the area in the history. I wasn’t sure if I thought the Game of Thrones tour would be worth it but after taking it, it was completely worth it for all the beautiful views and knowledge and history about the town. Book it! Great suggestions on food and elderflower G&T!

I loved this trip and recommend it to everyone! It’s not only about Game of Thrones, our guide was amazing and talked about the history of Dubrovnik as well. It was great to see Fort Lovrijenac, and be able to walk the City walls on our own time.

The most important part of a good tour is by far the guide, and in Tea we had the best. She regaled us with information not only about GoT, but also the history of the city. We had a wonderful 3 hour tour which flew by. Would definitely recommend this tour to everyone from novices to die hard fans. Thanks, Tea!

<p>A truly great tour for the Game of Thones fan. This tour goes to a lot of places with heaps of stops. Your guide will provide a comprehensive description of what you are seeing and what scene/character is relevant. There are also plenty of photos to help you remember the scenes and characters involved in the location you are visiting. It is worth noting that this is a very physical tour with lots of walking in the hot sun and lots of steps and I mean lots, like 1500 of them. This can be a challenge for those not used to walking or those with mobility issues. In saying that, I am not fit, I am also asthmatic and walk with the aid of a walking stick, yet I managed quite well and my guide was exceptional in ensuring I was coping. So if you are up for the challenge, go for it! You will not be disappointed. What I really love is that you get to have a thorough exploration of Dubrovnik in and see all the same stuff other tourists will be seeing, but you will have a unique GOT perspective in doing so. My only negative was that there was not enough time provided at the famous step were Cersei does her walk of shame to get a photo taken, would have been nice to have a few minutes to do so. Still I would encourage all GOT fans to do this tour if they are up for the physical challenge.</p>

<p>Great tour, lots of interesting information, and lots of steps. Dubrovnik is an amazing city. After the Game of Thrones tour, we were given a voucher to walk the old city walls on our own. It was like going back in time. It was exhausting though on a hot day.</p>

<p>Ivana led our tour of about 20 people, she was very knowledgeable and funny. If everyone consents she will also provide actual historical information, finding the right balance of GOT and real information, which we appreciated. Ivana also gave suggestions on where to eat and drink after the tour, all of her suggestions were amazing! We definitely did not want to leave Dubrovnik, it was a beautiful city. We highly recommend this tour! It was fun to see all of the familiar sights, but please, please, PLEASE ask to hear about at least a little history of the city and country as well - it is very interesting and will not interfere with your time to re-enact whatever scene/photo you want.</p>

<p>Really fantastic. I know, all this GOT stuff is a bit over the top if you are not a fan but for those who follow the religion it really was entertaining. I might add there was a healthy dose of historical and cultural information thrown in as well. My husband is not a devotee but he enjoyed the tour also. Well done to the tour guide!</p>

<p>Excellent tour. The guide brought pictures of the scenes, talked about what we were seeing and where CGI transformed the actual site into the scene shots we were shown. She talked in depth about the filming experience for the people of Dubrovnik, including some interesting side stories of the cast. Highly recommend this tour.</p>

<p>If you love Game of Thrones, this is a great tour. WARNING: LOTS of climbing of stairs. If you have trouble with stairs avoid this tour. The old city is beautiful but very crowded. Its a good way to see the town, learn some genuine history of the town, and also learn about the filming of GOT. My boyfriend was not a GOT fan but he still enjoyed the tour because of the history of the city.</p>

<p>This tour was great. The guide was lovely, she had many funny stories about the cast and filming. It was an easy relaxed pace. My husband who hates group tours really enjoyed this one. It was a small group and she kept it interesting.</p>

<p>As part of a cruise around the Mediterranean, we had a port of call in the city of Dubrovnik. Being huge GoT fans, we booked this tour and were extremely happy we did so! The city itself is amazing to see, but seeing where major scenes were filmed in the city and hearing local stories about the cast and how the production crew created the scenes, was really interesting! Additionally, our tour guide Lana/Liana? was really knowledgeable about the show and was enthusiastic about relaying the stories. She provided stills of the scenes and pointed out how they were filmed as well as how the CGI added to the scene. She also provided much history of the region which was also really interesting.<br/> We did quite a few tours on our cruise and this one was one of our top 2. If you are a GoT fan, I highly recommend this tour! Note, it requires a fair amount of walking, including up steps, though.</p>

<p>Andrea our guide was fabulous!!!! Smart, articulate, and combined great Game of Thrones information with wonderful historical knowledge of Dubrovnik over the past 2000 years. She made the trip so fun for all of us as not everyone knew the show in our group. She was a great guide for this beautiful city.</p>

<p>This tour is from 10AM to 1PM. It is focusing on 'Game of Thrones' show. My son watched most of the shows. My husband and I have never watched it. Therefore, it is not much fun for us.<br/> When we walked passed many restaurants close to lunch time, the food smell very good and my son got very hungry. We left the tour at noon and missed 30 of the tour.</p>

<p>It's exactly what you think it's going to be, a guided tour of all the sites in Dubrovnik they filmed Game of Thrones. Our guide was friendly, informative and easy to find. He had the scenes on his tablet and would play them for us so we could recall what they filmed in a particular location.</p>

<p>Very strenuous for older folks with MANY stairs, but still doable and worth the money. Our guide Niko provided still photos and G.O.T. Videos at each location, a real benefit.</p>

<p>The weather made the tour impossible. The tour guide did not want to continue until the rain stopped, which it never did. We finally realized that we could continue on our own but the rain was terrible. We got inside to the fountain and got no further. We were soaked and didn't really want to continue either.</p>

<p>If you love Game Of Thrones this is a tour you cannot miss...and if you just want a tour with a different slant of Dubrovnik, this is a great alternative. We both loved this experience and the added insights into Game of Thrones that we were given.</p>

<p>The tour was good. I think the downpour of rain the entire time kind of made it not as fun as it could have been. There is a lot of walking and stairs on the tour so be prepared. It's mostly a tour of pictures from the show while you stand at the actual location.</p>

<p>Booked this for my 17yo son, he had a great time. <br/> Dubrovnik was really busy that day and they ended up sandwiched between 2 cruise ship tours following a similar route but that is not the fault of the tour.</p>
