Dubrovnik Shore Excursion: City Walls Walking Tour (Entrance Ticket Included)

We did the Old Town tour and the City Walls combination tour, which was a fabulous introduction to the historic city of Dubrovnik, Croatia. We enjoyed the walk along the city walls the best, as our guide provided lots of historical details about this fascinating place.

This is a great tour of Old Town Dubrovnik and the Walled City. If you want to see the Old Town, you may as walk the walls. Our guide was incredible - intelligent, thorough and informative. We left the tour wanting to learn more and come back to Dubrovnik.

Our tour guide, Kate, was very knowledgeable. She provided us with a lot of history as well as current facts on the beautiful city of Dubrovnik. The old city is spectacular and the views were incredible. You need to walk the walls to see the beauty of the surrounding area. I highly recommend a tour so you can learn about the history and get some cool facts about Game of Thrones sights as well.

Sara was a great guide. She didn't overload us with information but gave us enough history to enjoy the tour without being bombarded. She gave us good recommendations for lunch also. Highly recommend this tour as it includes the old city and the Walls. Sara did a great job especially in the heat. Would highly recommend this tour

We really enjoyed our 3 hour tour of the City Walls and Old Town. Our guide was excellent and so happy we only had a small group of ten! He was very informative on what he was showing us. We highly recommend this tour.

The tour of the old city inside the walls was amazing. Sara our guide was awesome. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. She went out of her way to ensure we had a great experience.

We highly recommend this walking tour to anyone who wants to enjoy beautiful views of the old town and the seas. It's a great way to learn about the history and culture high above the crowded streets. It can be windy and cold on the walls so wear layers, take umbrellas and hold the hands of younger children for their safety.

This tour was exactly as described and we enjoyed it immensely. Our guide, Jenera, was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Dubrovnik history while walking the streets of the old town. After a short break, we climbed the city walls for breathtaking views. This was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommended.

<p>Great time and very informative for the whole family. Our guide Ivana was great and we learned a lot about Dubrovnik. Highly suggest walking the walls for some awesome pictures of the city and the landscape.</p>

<p>Vlatka was our young, vibrant, full of information tour guide. First, we toured the Old Town of Dubrovnik. What an amazing town. Such gorgeous views. Then we did the full walking tour of the City Walls. Again, so much information was given and we are grateful for all that new knowledge. We climbed to the top and then down and then to the top again. We were tired, but it was a good tired. This tour is a must.</p>

<p>Terrible. I was injured on this tour. Your guide did not inform me and my wife that since it was raining the cement stairs would be slippey. The wind was blowing and raining and when I asked to stop the tour. I slipped while going down the steps</p>

<p>We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour, even though it was hot and very busy in Dubrovnik. Our guide was brilliant very funny and made the the experience very enjoyable. Would thoroughly recommend the tour and the company.</p>

<p>This tour was excellent as we had combined the inside and wall walking tour - the group for inside the wall was nice and small - 12 people so it made the tour easier to get around and hear the guide and we were the only ones who stayed for the walking the wall so it was like a private tour most companies would have cancelled- we had the same guide for both and she was excellent providing alot of history and interesting facts - she also made recommendations after the tour of good places to eat and other sites to explore</p>

<p>Andrea met us on time and exactly where we were told that she would be. She was excellent, very bright and animated and had an excellent knowledge of both the ancient history of Dubrovnik as well as more current events. She was most helpful to one gentleman who wanted to explore the walls, but was afraid of heights. Would absolutely recommend this tour.</p>

<p>The tour guide was not feeling well. I thought we would do a little tour of the city, but did only the wall tour. She was very nice but you could tell she just wanted to go home to rest. This was a bit disappointing.</p>

<p>What we had was very good, and our guide was terrific, however, she was not the person who was to be our guide. We didn't have our guide as she was stuck with another group and we were blended into a different tour group. Would have been better, I'm sure if we had the entire time to do what we expected. The process was fine.</p>

<p>We had a thoroughly enjoyable day in Dubrovnik, starting with a walking tour of the city, followed by a tour of the walls in the afternoon. Our guide, Ana, was excellent, pointing out so many places of interest and explaining the history of the area including the more recent conflict. She is very knowledgeable and organised the tour very well on what was a crowded and hot day. Excellent value for money.</p>

<p>Excellent walking tour of the walls and city. Our guide (Mariaja?) was evacuated in the early 90's war and was able to give a great insight into what life was like then Her overall knowledge was superb and she made sure her small party (only 6) coped well with a very hot day. Great value for money</p>

<p>Our guide Ivana was knowledgeable and passionate about her work.<br/> She gave an insightful historical coverage of Dubrovnik which threw light on the siege of 1991-3.<br/> I would have preferred it if we had been brought into the side-streets off the main Stradun as it would have shown us a more intimate perspective of the city. The wall-walk was enjoyable and would recommend this highly to any one with a few hours to spare.</p>

Croatia was never something on my bucket list but our tour guide (who was from the local area) did an amazing job of showing us the highlights of the area, talked about the history, her personal experience during the war as a little girl, and made this tour so interesting. I now have a new interest in coming back and learning more about this area of the world. This is a must see tour. Beautiful !!!</p>

<p>The most beautiful City on our trip. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and spoke excellent english. I would recomnmend this excursion to anyone wanting to be thoroughly enchanted and entertained by one of the most historical cities we visited in nearly five weeks.</p>

<p>This was a wonderful tour and our guide Anna <br/> couldn't have been better. She walked us through the old city at a comfortable pace so that we could look at things and absorb the history of the city. Plenty of time for photo's. We then walked the city wall and Anna pointed out all the historic places and gave us background history. We had a wonderful day.</p>
