Dubrovnik Old Town & City Walls Private Tour

Mateo is a fantastic tour guide. The walls are amazingly beautiful. The three hour tour flew by. Mateo gave informative, fun explanations. The end of the tour included a walk down the main street of old town. Highly recommended.

Our Old Town & City Walls tour with Darko was excellent. His depth of historical knowledge and unique perspective brought Dubrovnik’s past to life and gave us a much richer understanding of the city. He also introduced us to several museums and hidden spots that we never would have discovered on our own. Highly recommended for anyone wanting more than just a standard walking tour.

Matthew was great! We booked a private tour of the Old Town and City Walls. He gave so much information on the history of Dubrovnik all the way back to the 7th century. He was able to point out things we would have missed walking on our own. Additionally he was great at taking pictures of us at the best spots. Once the tour was over he has excellent recommendations for food and what to do with the rest of our time in Dubrovnik to be sure me made the best of our only day here. I highly recommend booking a tour with him!

We did a history tour mostly viewing and walking around the walls of the city. It far exceeded our expects. Our tour leader know all about the history from the 1st in habitans to today. There was no question she could not answer. The history of this area of Croatia is important to our world today and needs to be on your list.

We walked ourselves and enjoyed spectacular views and a welcome cold drink. The vista from the walls over the city and port is amazing. Do this late in the day in summer as the starts can be hot. Recommended.

The private walking tour was great, we took my parents and it allowed us to walk at their pace which really increased the enjoymemt of the experience. Our guide Jelena demonstrated a real knowledge and love for her city. We followed up on a number of her recommendations and it really enhanced our entirely holiday. Recommend this as a must do!

The tour was very interresting and our guide Kim very nice. All the explanations from Kim was very clear, it was very hot, but we took our time and make a stop to have a drink on the wall. We really enjoyed to spend time with her and for sure when we would come back will would ask her to be our guide again.

Ivan our tour guide was excellent! Viator charged $112 each for a private tour with no advert that it was private. Our friends booked the wrong day and we're added to a group your for $40 each. Viator would not refund us for false advertisement.

I cannot say enough to express how fantastic this tour was. Jelena was knowledgeable, lively, candid and engaging. It was great to spend a couple hours with someone who grew up in Dubrovnik and had a comprehensive knowledge of both history and culture. You will not be disappointed with this tour! Do plan for numerous steps and do it early in the day to avoid crowds.

Ivo is our guide and not only knowledgeable about Dubrovnik history , but also all corner where it was quiet from tourist spot. We were 4 in a group and it was worthy to go on our own pace. When we combined 2 tours together , it was same price as joining group tour . Highly recommend. Small hint, spend more than 2 days and still not enough. Will come back

I booked this tour 4 months before our trip and from the beginning Ivo was responsive to all my email communications. The cruise changed our itinerary so we had to change the day of of our tour and Ivo was very accommodating. We had 9 people in our group and we all enjoyed the tour. Ivo was knowledgeable with the history and since there were Game of Thrones fans that was a bonus. Wish we had more time in this beautiful city.

We had a terrific tour with Davor in Dubrovnik. He was a wealth of knowledge of the history of Dubrovnik and Croatia and was funny to boot! I can not recommend him more.

We went to Dubrovnik with friends and had no idea how beautiful this city is. Especially the Old Town is gorgeous. Ivo one of our guides, showed us everything we could see in 2 days. We did this tour with our guide Ivo. Everything was right from start to finish and it was never boring. Ivo speaks perfect German, is funny and knows everything you need to know about Dubrovnik.
