'Game Of Thrones' Walking Tour In Dubrovnik

Guide was just right. She turned into what we were looking for and she gave us a perfect tour. Did not even think about all the walking we did. Guide was very informative and entertaining.

Great experience highly recommended! The tour guide was knowledgeable and super nice, she kept us off the sun as much as she could as the day was very hot!! We visited many GOT sites and it was nice waking where the crew walked, if a fan of GOT you will love this tour!!

Amazing tour! Our guide was wonderful - so knowledgeable not only on Game of Thrones but history of Croatia. Took us to the best spots and then recommended a great spot for lunch.

Only slight negative comment was that Viator stated the start point was the local booking agent's office. We were lucky that we contacted the tour guide on the morning and she told us that the start was at the Pile Gate. Ivana was brilliant - such a "Throney" herself she was so knowledgeable but also found time to throw in some history of Croatia and Dubrovnik. The tour only lasted about 2 hours but the price did include entry to the city walls which you can do in your own time at the end. Overall highly recommended

Kruno went above and beyond to give the group the most thorough , interesting, exciting tour ever. My husband and I couldn’t recommend it enough ….you will not be disappointed in the slightest . This tour ultimately made our holiday ! 😎🎉

Kruno was excellent. However I misunderstood what we were getting. I thought we had a 3 hour guided tour but it was 2 hours. That was ok but just misleading. I thought we were going to the island as part of the tour. You do get passes for the walk after the tour which I also misunderstood. But that was a good par. We bought the passes before and if I had known the tour would allow me to also walk the wall I would not have bought those passes In the end kruno was excellent. He have more info than just GoT

Lana was an absolutely fabulous guide!!! She gave us so much information and was very patient along the way!! We asked for recommendations for gelato and restrains she was very helpful!! She was so pleasant and gave us tips for touring the walls and lots about Game of Thrones!!! Highly recommend this tour and Lana!!!!!

The tour exceeded our expectations! The tour guide Branko is a true fan and shared a lot of behind the scenes spicy facts from when he was communicating with the cast in old city. Very relaxed and interesting, highly recommend Branko for this tour. Thank you!

Our guide was Tea and she was absolutely excellent and I would highly recommend her as her knowledge and guidance were brilliant. Tea is a credit to the company .

Meeting guide was fine no issues Directions were fine I would have liked a board for all to see, we arrived early and there was nothing to say we were in the right place

First of all Dubrovnik is one of the most gorgeous cities I’ve ever seen and this tour was absolutely incredible. My boyfriend and I are huge Game of Thrones fans and Lana did a great job at giving us traditional Dubrovnik history as well as highlighting the fictional history from the book/show as well. Entry to the city walls was included with this tour and we were given QR codes in order to go back later on our own time when it wasn’t so hot. We went in the evening around 7:15 before the last entrance which is at 7:30 and enjoyed a gorgeous sunset view of the city from above. We could not asked for a better day in Croatia. Thank you so much for an amazing day!!!

Sara was an amazing tour guide! She shared so many cool facts about the behind the scenes of show and filming locations. She was even an extra on the show! She also discussed a lot of Dubrovnik’s history, explained the layout of the Old Town, and provided amazing recommendations on where to shop and eat. Thank you Sara for such an awesome experience!

She gave us so much insight to the behind the scenes of the show, as well as the history of Dubrovnik. We did this tour as part of our honeymoon and it was simply my husband’s favorite part of our trip! He is a huge GOT fan and was highly impressed with Natasha’s knowledge of the show. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves GOT, learning about a new place and is visiting Dubrovnik!

Excellent guide. Knew the subject matter well and truly cared about the health and well being of the attendees. Took her time with those attendees, but delved deep in to to subject for those who are true aficionados of the Game of Thrones. She also managed to make it interesting for those who had not watched the series by introducing stories of behind the scenes with local color and communities. She has a great sense of humor and obviously loves her home town of Dubrovnik.

We had an amazing time with our tour and guide. Luckily being in march meant it was not busy and we had a private tour. Very detailed tour and very lovely lady. Definitely a must do when you visit Dubrovnik.

Well worth it, Sara our guide was actually an extra in GOT, so the narration based on her first hand knowledge was brilliant.

Nothing against the tour guides—they were very nice and did a good job. However, we were a group of 2 x 14 people, and for the money, I didn't find the tour worth it. There was no time for lunch, we arrived late at the gardens, and we rushed through everything. For the price, it was not the tour we expected. Sorry, we thought we were going to the Game of Thrones chair and taking a boat trip for lunch. Somewhere in the communication, something went wrong, which is very unfortunate. But again, this is not the fault of the guides!

I joined the Game of Thrones tour in Dubrovnik yesterday, and despite the dramatic weather—complete with intense hail—it was absolutely incredible! King’s Landing truly transformed into Winterfell right before our eyes. I’m so grateful the tour continued despite the conditions, as it made for a uniquely memorable experience. The guide’s enthusiasm and knowledge shone through, and it was fascinating to learn not just about the iconic filming locations but also about Dubrovnik’s rich history. Thank you, thank you for making this such a special tour! If you’re a fan of Game of Thrones (or just history and adventure), this tour is a must, come rain, shine—or hail!

Very entertaining and instructive. Kate was knowledgeable on the city and show us all around. She also volunteered to take pictures of us. She knew all of the best spots for perfect pictures & memories.

Sara was great, very nice, professional and interesting. She took the time to show us a real Game of Throne’s picture in comparison to the actual scene in Dubrovnik.

Sara was an extra on Game of Thrones and had some amazing stories to tell. She took us to some great locations used in GOT and showed the photos of the set to compare.

We could not hear a single thing our tour guide was saying the entire tour. We had headsets, and despite the volume being all the way up, we could not hear anything, and other people had the same issue. Half the time the guide did not even use the mic, but when she did, it was so muffled and quiet we heard nothing but warbled underwater sounds, and others could not hear either. Also, the tour simply consisted of her holding up pictures from the show and giving us synopses of the scenes (which we had already seen, since we were attending a game of thrones tour… therefore we had watched the show…) no additional info was really given regarding filming etc. We left about an hour in. Also, we reached out to Viator regarding a possible refund, and they denied the refund and told us “you should have turned the volume up” on the headsets… which were all the way up. Horrible experience, don’t waste your time. Just google where certain scenes were shot and find the spots yourself with Apple Maps.

Had a wonderful time with our guide. She was so knowledgeable about the show and the actors. We really enjoyed this tour. Even though the town was packed that day she kept us close and entertained while showing us all the cool spots

Our guide did not provide us with headsets for the tour which was unfortunate because we couldnt hear her. She turned away from us when talking which didnt help. It was crowded so hard to see her pictures. But a beautiful site, we were happy to see it.

Brilliant guide in Josep - very knowledgeable and entertaining throughout. Really enjoyed matching the scenes with the stills from the series as we went along and Josep added some humour and fun along the way. The time flew by - a must do for GOT fans!

We completed the tour with Kruno, he was extremely knowledgeable not only about Game of Thornes but about the history of Croatia. He also recommended a few places to eat which were phenomenal. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with him, and would highly recommend to book!

Our guide Marina was great. She took her time to explain not just everything about game of thrones but also the history of Dubrovnik.

It was a good tour. We spent a lot of time outside the walls and at the Fort. Less time in the Old City. We didnt go up the walls at all as I had expected. It was fun and informative, had lots of details of how the local population were involved. Also a good intro to the old city and tips on what to do around the city. My tickets came with tickets to the Walls of Dubrovnik but we did not know that it was only valid for 24 hours. We decided to go the next evening and could not use the tickets unfortunately.

Ivana was an amazing guide full of fantastic information and insights into the making of Game of Thrones and the history of the city itself. Ivana brought the whole tour to life creating images of the stories of the filming and adding interesting insights about the wonderful buildings and architecture all with an amazing sense of humour. The tour went so quickly a testament to the enthusiasm of Ivana who we cannot recommend highly enough…..thank you Ivana and Viator for a fantastic tour which was very much a highlight of our holiday here in Croatia!!!

Great tour! Nikola was an amazing tour guide. He gave us lots of opportunities to stop and take pictures at all filming locations and did a great job of explaining how and where famous scenes were shot. Highly recommend if you are a fan of the show.

We were a small group of 8. Our guide was so enthusiastic and knew all about the series. It was so much better than I expected. She was a first class guide. There were a lot of steps to climb. But very much worth it
