Loved this cute boutique hotel in the middle of old town Dubrovnik. We loved how we could walk around on a hot day and pop back into the apartment to refresh or take a break from the heat. Communication for entry and check-out was easy. The room and bed was clean, comfortable and quiet. Great restaurants right outside the apartment and the location is centrally located. Lots of stairs in old town and more stairs to the second floor to the apartment.

This place is advertised as a hotel, but in reality it is just a private room in someone’s home. I never met the host at any point during my stay. The location in the Old Town is convenient, which was one of the main reasons I chose this place. However, I was told that the easiest access was from the northern gate. In reality, getting there with a suitcase was extremely difficult because of the long and steep stairs. It was a very challenging arrival experience, especially with luggage. The room was located on what would be the third floor, and I had to carry my suitcase up the stairs by myself. This was very difficult and would not be suitable for travelers with large luggage or mobility issues. I arrived at night and was instructed to unlock the door myself. It seemed that the entrance was monitored by a security camera, because when I once had difficulty locking the entrance door properly, nobody came to help; instead, I received a message telling me to close the door correctly. When I asked for an extra bath towel, I was simply told to take one myself from a shelf downstairs. The shower room was also poorly designed, and the floor became completely wet after use. There was no personal interaction with the host at all during my stay. The checkout procedure was unclear, and I simply left the keys in the room because I was not sure what else to do. I am glad that I only stayed for two nights in December and did not spend more money on this experience. While the location is good, I would not recommend this place unless you are a very light traveler who does not need assistance or hotel-like service.
This place is a perfect location! Be careful with the stairs as they are steep but manageable. The staff is very responsive to helping. The room was nice and had everything we needed. The biggest draw back if visiting in the summer is the AC. The unit in our room struggled to the point where most shops and the laundry coin had better AC.
The room was very well located, clean, and spacious. The reception staff were very helpful and always available to assist us. I highly recommend it.
Lovely room. Great location close to the side entrance to the old town, not too far to walk to the airport bus, Ubers & cable car - albeit with lots of steps still, but this is unavoidable in the old town. My only complaint was with the check-in, as others have mentioned below, this isn’t actually a hotel, more like an airbnb. I received no instructions for entry, but for future guests there is a phone number written on the letterbox you can call to receive the pin for the lock box. I would happily return with this information.
