Wonderful Stay at Royal Blue Hotel Dubrovnik We had a wonderful stay at Royal Blue Hotel Dubrovnik from August 10–14, 2026. The location is absolutely perfect, with beautiful views and easy access to the sea. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a fantastic choice and something for everyone. I would easily give it 10/10. The staff and service were exceptional—friendly, attentive and professional throughout our stay. Another highlight was the excellent availability of sun loungers, chairs and umbrellas, making it very easy to relax by the sea and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The restaurants were also excellent, with great food, service and atmosphere. Overall, Royal Blue is a fantastic choice for a relaxing Dubrovnik stay. The combination of the location, beautiful seaside setting, excellent food and outstanding service made our stay truly enjoyable. 10/10 — highly recommended!

The hotel itself has 5 stars and is a resort as well. I think if you give your hotel as a resort with 5 stars then it should be fully private to the guests that stay’s there. We’ve stayed for 4 nights and you only see the “hidden” and imperfections if you stay long enough. First of all if the hotel says that the facilities and beach is private for the guests then why the locals use the same facilities as you? You pay the full price to have access to everything and at the end you just see that all can be used free because that’s basically what happens when you see the locals. Second is the staff from the bar or the lifesaver they all swim around like they are staying in the hotel like the guests. They jump from the roofs and rocks when they are working and they just walk around like they are guests from the hotel and all, nothing against them but if you are there working then you should be doing that. Third is the staff from the restaurants and reception are all very friendly. The only thing I should mention is that they need to learn their job students how to work properly and pay attention to how to treat their guests. If I knew from the beginning that it would be like this, we would never comer because at the end of the stay you just have the feeling that you could’ve used every facility for free like the locals, so I would say not really worth the price. Our room was booked with sea view and we had a half sea view so not really what we asked. Anyways, the hotel is more a 3/4 stars instead of 5. Our gratitude for the staff at the restaurant’s & reception, they were all very welcoming and always with a big smile.
I had such a wonderful experience at the Royal Blue Hotel in Dubrovnik. From the moment I arrived until the very end of my stay, I was extremely well looked after. The entire team was impeccable: attentive, genuinely kind and always ready to help. The General Manager was also incredibly welcoming and attentive, which made the experience feel even more special. Our room had a privileged sea view, and watching the sunset from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking. The setting is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by incredible natural scenery. What I also loved about the hotel, and the Royal Hotels & Resort group in general, is how complete the experience is. There are so many facilities, activities and beautiful spaces to enjoy that it is genuinely difficult to find a reason to leave the hotel. It was one of those stays that you simply do not want to end. I absolutely loved my time there and I am already looking forward to going back.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome, from the reception team to the waiters to the cleaning crew. Everyone was warm and attentive. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the crystal-clear sea. The restaurant made the stay even better with delicious food and that same easy hospitality. Everything felt seamless, a truly excellent experience. Perched above the hotel, the rooftop restaurant and bar with its pool is a highlight all on its own. Great views, relaxed vibes, and the perfect spot for sunset drinks.
We loved this hotel. Our room had a large balcony with an amazing view of the pool, sea, and the sunset. The restaurants on the property are all excellent, especially the Italian place, Bono. It’s more resort style than boutique, but you can’t beat the location and the quality. Multiple amazing pools on the property. Would stay here again.
