Palmotta Palace 4*

I stayed three nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The bed was quite comfortable and the room was spacious. It is perfectly located right in the old town and if you enter through the Pile Gate there are minimal stairs. I highly recommend based on location, comfort and beautiful rooms.

👍 Good Points -Excellent location — only a short walk to Pile Gate. -No stairs or steep alleys — very convenient for carrying luggage. -Easy to find — just turn into the small lane with the same name as the hotel. 'The room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and pleasant. -One of the buildings is just 50 meters away from the main reception, also no stairs outside. --- 👎 Bad Points -The first room had a strong perfume and drain smell that caused a headache. -Needed to change rooms due to the smell. -Two out of three rooms still had a slight drain odor, though tolerable. -Rooms are in different buildings, so a bit inconvenient for groups. Overall, it’s good — excellent location, very close to Pile Gate, with no stairs in any alleys. You just turn into a small lane with the same name as the hotel, and you’re there. At first, the room (Department 6) we got had a strong scent of perfume mixed with a drain smell, which gave me a headache. So my friend requested a room change, and we were moved to another building just one alley away. We booked three rooms in total. Two rooms were in the same building as the reception, located on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The other room was in another building on the 2nd floor, only about 10 meters away, and also without any stairs outside. The room I stayed in was very good, but my friends said the other two rooms still had a drain smell, though at a tolerable level.

We had an amazing stay in Palmotta Palace in Dubrovnik. Location was perfect! Our apartment was clean and spacious with a fridge, safe, robes and slippers, coffee maker, and an air conditioner that was essential on a hot summer day. The staff was very friendly and the security system was top notch. Breakfast at the nearby Dalmantino restaurant was included with our stay and was delicious! Of note - our room was on the third floor so there were a lot of steps which was not a problem for us but just be aware!

We spent two nights here this week in the top-floor suite. While it was quite a climb, it was absolutely worth it. The suite was beautiful, spotless, and wonderfully air-conditioned. It also had a refrigerator and a table perfect for playing games. The location was incredible, and the staff were both friendly and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or to recommend this place to family and friends. Don’t believe the negative reviews — this stay was fantastic.
