We stayed in a Junior Suite at Royal Neptun Hotel for five nights and had an amazing experience. Although the hotel is a little far from the Old Town, it was very convenient. The bus stop is only a 3-minute walk away, and Bus No. 6 takes you directly to the Old Town. This summer was extremely hot, so after walking the city walls, we spent most of our time relaxing by the hotel’s swimming pool and swimming in the beautiful sea right in front of the hotel. The ocean view was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sea every morning and watching the sunset in the evening were unforgettable moments. The seaside promenade leading to Lapad Beach was also beautiful and perfect for a relaxing walk. The breakfast had the same menu every day, so it became a little repetitive after a few days. However, enjoying breakfast with such a stunning sea view made it worthwhile. The pool restaurant was also reasonably priced compared to the restaurants in the Old Town, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious. Choosing Royal Neptun Hotel made our trip to Dubrovnik truly special. Even after checking out, we were allowed to use the swimming pools, showers, and other facilities. Since we had a late-night flight, this made our last day so much more comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose this hotel again if we return to Dubrovnik.

My son and I had the most incredible time at the Royal Neptun. Our room was kept immaculately clean. On a trip staying in several hotels in different European countries, this was by far the room with the best cleanliness, view, and air conditioning. That last bit is a must in Croatia during the summer, and it was a delight to be able to retreat to the room in the high heat of the day. The pools are wonderful. My kiddo loved the shallow saltwater pool the best. The breakfast was utterly fabulous and included in the stay: made-to-order omelettes, a delightful selection of pastries, and so much fresh fruit, among many other options. We also enjoyed the restaurants, including the pizza place and seafood restaurant with the best sea bass I've ever had. The location was supreme: incredible views, an easy walk to the bus line that goes straight to the Pile Gate, and direct access to a beautiful promenade lined with restaurants and cafes on one side, and the most incredible sea views on the other. When we return to Croatia, we will absolutely be staying at one of the Royal hotels.
Perfect vacation spot! The hotel has beautiful views and a great beachside promenade for walking or running. The staff are so friendly, and the pool area integrated with the rocky beach and lounge chairs is fantastic. Breakfast was delicious, too. Best of all, Bus No. 6 comes every 10 minutes to take you straight to the Old City—no parking hassle at all! Highly recommend.
The hotel is top-notch. The receptionist was very attentive and always ready to help, and was Vanessa, with whom I corresponded and who was very polite and always ready to help us. The room was very large with a beautiful panoramic view. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Special extra points for the wonderful spa at the hotel. They have a heated pool and several saunas, and they also provide slippers, a robe, and towels. They have everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The stay offered several notable highlights. The view is truly stunning, and the warm pool adds to the overall sense of comfort and relaxation. The presence of multiple restaurants within the resort is very convenient, with the ribeye steak at La Castille being particularly outstanding. Breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. Overall, these positive aspects contributed to a pleasant experience. Definitely will book this hotel again.
