The Westbury Hotel

I was traveling solo for a wedding and wanted a hotel centrally located to walk around for shopping, dining and entertaining. I had stayed at The Westbury before and knew it was a perfect hotel for my needs. I celebrated my niece’s engagement with a vegan high tea for her, regular menu for me, in The Westbury’s beautiful main floor. One of the best teas we’ve ever experienced. They added a lovely chocolate biscuit Bride-To-Be which was such a special touch. Later that evening, I celebrated a friend’s 30th birthday with 6 guests in The Sidecar, including excellent bar bites, desserts, and fun drinks from the Martini trolley. A lovely evening with excellent service. Breakfast each morning was hearty, delicious and served in a lovely setting. The room was well-designed and even had an American plug if needed for any electronics. Now that is attention to detail. So many people worked to make my stay a wonderful one and the staff was attentive and welcoming. Shout out to David Earls - he patiently answered all of my emails and helped make sure my details were arranged for my events. I’ll be back!

My wife and I stayed at the Westbury in early September while in Dublin on vacation. The location of the hotel is excellent near the touristy part of the city which was fine by us. The room was very nice although it was notably smaller than the other similar class Dublin hotel we stayed in during our trip. The restaurant (WILDE) and bar (Baffles) were fine with good food and service. Unfortunately what would have been a positive stay was impacted by something inexplicable. At 1:45am the night before having to get up early for a long flight home, my wife and I were jarred awake by the loudest construction noise I have ever heard at a hotel. The drilling/hammering was so loud it seemed it was coming from inside the room. We called the front desk, was told it would be addressed, waited for a bit and had to call again before the work finally stopped. I can't even imagine what would possess the hotel to allow construction at that time of night when there are guests in nearby rooms. The next morning we were told they were looking into the matter. Also, a bit of a minor point but I asked for a taxi to go to the airport and they called a car service. The service charged more than double what a taxi costs. The hotel should give guests the choice.

Our room was beautifully designed, exceptionally comfortable, and maintained to the highest standard. The location is simply perfect, placing Dublin’s finest shopping, dining, and cultural attractions just a short stroll away. Every interaction with the team reflected true professionalism and Irish hospitality. The Westbury is more than a hotel—it’s an experience of timeless luxury, comfort, and excellence. We had a wonderful stay at The Westbury! The location couldn't be better - right in the heart of Dublin and within walking distance of anything you could possibly need. It made exploring the city so easy and convenient. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, including the currency exchange available at the front desk, which made traveling even easier. Our meals at WILDE were exceptional - both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious and truly highlights of our stay. What really made our experience special, though, was the incredible staff. Everyone was welcoming and attentive, but we especially want to recognize Beatrice and Anderson. Anderson was our server on our first night, and he made our dinner experience wonderful with his excellent service and attention to detail. Beatrice was one of the best parts of our stay. She greeted us with kindness every morning, remembered us, and made us feel genuinely welcomed each day. The combination of the beautiful hotel, amazing location, outstanding food, and exceptional hospitality made our stay at The Westbury unforgettable. Thank you to the entire team for making our time in Dublin so special!
