Great stay. 10/10 ice machine, cold water and sparkling water available at all times. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Someone manning the luggage room so we knew our belongings were safe whilst we were out on checkout day. Late checkout of 12pm which gave us plenty of times. The door man made us feel like we were in a 5* hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ashling hotel, it was very convenient to public transport the tramstop is nearby, Hueston station nearby. Public transport in Dublin is easy to use, we bought our travel card at the nearby Centro and were able to top it up at the nearby tram stop when necessary. We enjoyed taking advantage of Phoenix Park which is a short walk away. It was close to Stoneybatter pubs, centro and cafes. Our room was a good size, and like the rest of the hotel it was immaculately clean. We found all of the staff to be very helpful and friendly especially the doormen, it's a nice little touch when you've been out for the day, to be greeted in such a friendly and helpful manner. We enjoyed the breakfasts. We recommend this hotel.
Nice hotel, located slightly West from the City Centre. It is next to Irish Criminal Court and close to lovely Phenix park. The service and food are very pleasant. It is slightly cheaper then hotels in the City Centre, very well connected with public transport in every direction. I would recommend it for tourists, or people from counryside of Ireland.
I had a wonderful experience at Ashling Hotel, and I would especially like to thank Darius at reception. He is incredibly kind, professional, and always pays attention to every detail. He goes above and beyond to help guests and is very understanding and patient with anything they need. His excellent customer service made my stay even more enjoyable. I did not find the Ashling to be worthy of 5 stars when it comes to quality of rooms. Very small and musty, poor air circulation with no fans in bathroom. We came during a heatwave so I am giving them one extra star for grace, as they cannot control the heat. No iron, blow dryer or sheets... only a crunchy comforter on the very small bed. On a positive note, staff was exceptional, kind and efficient. We appreciated fresh laundry hung on the door when we did not need full room reset. Lobby was beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the breakfast, although not sure if it was worth the cost, it was convenient. The hotel is close to some really wonderful pubs and to the city center.
