Shout out to this hotel which is the first I've ever stayed at (I think) that had a decent hair dryer. I usually call hotel blow dryers "breath dryers." This was a real hair dryer. Our room was small, the but the bathroom was large and modern. We liked the room overall except that the carpet definitely needs some attention, it appeared quite old and stained. Staff was fabulous. The gentleman who checked us in gave us detailed information on how to get around and what landmarks to look for to navigate, and he made suggestions of what cultural sites to visit. Requests for extra towels were fulfilled in minutes. I had requested early check in and our room was ready on arrival at around 10a. Location is great, easy walk to the Temple Bar area and the upscale shopping streets.

Absolute gem of a hotel. Beautiful space. More roomy and luxurious than the other comparable options in the area. Excellent black out curtains. Comfy bed. Everything about it was perfect. Oriel even helped us out the next morning with bag check and calling a cab! Couldn't be more satisfied with the stay.
Our experience was mixed. One thing future guests should be aware of is that the rooms on the 5th floor are significantly smaller than those on the 3rd floor. Our room was so compact that once two suitcases were open, there was very little space left to move around the room or the bed comfortably. The bathroom was also lacking in functionality. There was no counter space or conveniently located outlets for doing hair or makeup, so getting ready meant squeezing in next to the bed and using the outlets there. We also ran into an issue with our family members' reservation. My mother- and father-in-law were able to book a room with two beds online, but upon arrival they were told that no rooms with two beds were available. This created unnecessary confusion and frustration, especially since the room type appeared bookable through the reservation system. The hotel itself was otherwise fine, but the lack of space in the room and the discrepancy between the room booked and the room provided detracted from the overall experience.
Very well located hotel. Easy access to a majority of the places we visited during our stay. Rooms were very comfortable. Only had breakfast at the hotel but that was good - buffet food only. Definitely not a cheap place but good value which is a better measure.
Even though I gave the rooms a slight ding due to the outside noise(absolutely terrible: you can hear everyone talking, sneezing, fighting, morning construction/cleaning) we loved our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We went down to the bar a couple of times for ice, since there was no refrigerator in the room. But it was extremely clean, well appointed, fun decor, and the shower. OMG. A rainfall shower head and a detachable "point and shoot" made it the best we have ever experienced while on vacation. It was hard to pull ourselves out of the shower. 😆 The location was also incredibly walkable to anything we needed(Grafton Street, Dublin Castle, Guinness Storehouse, etc). I would 100% recommend this to anyone and stay here again. Thank you to the entire staff for an amazing stay for our first nights in Ireland.
