We loved the Old Dubai walking tour with Ricky. It was the perfect length for our family with pre-teen kids, and the pace kept everyone engaged without feeling rushed. Ricky was extremely knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting history and local insights. All entry fees were included, which made the experience very easy. Be sure to bring some cash for tipping and any purchases along the way. The local restaurant recommendation was fabulous and a real highlight of the day. Highly recommend for families wanting to explore Old Dubai.

This private walking tour was the absolute highlight of our trip to Dubai. If you want to see the authentic, historical soul of the city, you must do this! Ricardo was incredible—so knowledgeable and passionate about the history. Because it was a private tour, we could go at our own pace, ask tons of questions, and get a truly personalized experience. We loved stepping back in time while walking through the beautiful old alleyways and seeing the historic forts. But the best part was the two most "classic" Dubai experiences: riding a traditional Abra boat across the Dubai Creek and exploring the bustling souks. The sights, sounds, and smells of the Spice Souk and the dazzling Gold Souk were unforgettable. I can't recommend this tour enough. It's an immersive, fascinating, and fun way to see a side of Dubai that many visitors miss. Five stars!

It was a very interesting tour of old Dubai seeing wind towers, cafes and old home. Pri was a very knowledgeable and personable guide. This was our first full day in Dubai and a great way to get oriented.

Tour guide could give more historical details of places visited. I felt we run a lot and waisted to much time for purchasing. The guide seemed to have enough knowledge to give way more information than what he delivered.

what a good tour. Our tour guide Pri was amazing, she answered all of her questions and wanted to know more about us while telling us history of all Dubai during our tour we tried local coffee as well as Ethiopian coffee and went to different markets we were able to purchase souvenirs or simply look around if need be we do wish that we were walking a bit more as we are very active family, but nonetheless crossing, the river was amazing and everything about the world was great.

We had a wonderful experience and got to know the old part of Dubai before the construction of all the famous sights. We visited Gold Souk, Textile Souk and Spice Souk. It was dynamic and informative. Our dear guide Pri learned us how life used to be in Dubai and what people did for a living. We really enjoyed ourselves and bought some sweets, spices and jewelry. Spent a very nice afternoon touring the old part of Dubai with Pri; she was super informative on the background and history, guiding us around to a coffee house for tasting, thru courtyards I would never have found on my own, all the while patiently answering our questions. She guided us thru the gold, textile, and spice Souks. Pri also helped us barter for a few items which was fun! Most of all she was amazing with my teenage daughter, age 13, who absolutely did not want to go on this tour at all!! By the end of our few hours my daughter had the biggest smile on her face as she really enjoyed herself! Two field trips with this company in one week for us. Year 4s and Year5s about 290 students each day. As teachers of a high standard school we cannot recommend this company enough. Very flexible and professional and really focused on learning and experiential learning for school students in particular.we did the farm visit and old Dubai both were excellent.

My family of 3 has signed up for the “Private Old Dubai Walking Tour: Fort, Souks, Boats” on 23 Dec 2023. It was an enriching and interesting 2-hour tour. We have learned much and get to see the old Dubai up close and personal. A special shout-out to Ricky, our guide, for his informative sharing.

This tour was recommended by a colleague as a must do for our trip. We had a 12 person party consisting of ages 9 through 57, and everyone unanimously enjoyed our tour as the highlight of our entire trip to the UAE. Pri was equally great with both the kids and the adults, keeping us all engaged and excited about what was coming next. I’m usually not a tour person, choosing instead to explore on my own, but we would have missed out on so much without her. In 2 hours, we tried delicious street food, visited 3 souks where she helped us identify the good finds, took a private boat, and learned about the history of the bastakiyah. We 100% would have booked her for our time in Abu Dhabi as well if she was available! Thanks so much, Pri!

She took us to many Instagram-able spots that one would never find without her expertise. We tried local coffee and visited many quaint cafes. Dana was an amazing guide on our private tour. As two women traveling from USA we wanted to be educated about the local sights and customs. Dana was full of knowledge, took her time to explain the culture and traditions, answer our questions and is a respected local. We entered local spaces that were a peek into what life was like and tasted coffee, spices, & nuts. Once we crossed over the canal it was a new experience in the souks where Dana was given much respect by the locals here as well. We bought the oregano cashews and wish I could find them in the states. Highly recommend this private tour!

Experience the rich history of Dubai by exploring the heritage district situated along the Dubai Creek. Immerse yourself in the past as you witness traditional dhows still being used for business purposes. Pri will greet you at the Arabian Tea House & Restaurant in Al Fahidi, Bastakiya, located opposite Musalla Post Office. This area, known as the Historic District of Dubai, was constructed in the 1890s. Your first stop will be at the renowned Coffee Museum Old City Wall, where you will be served traditional coffee. Pri is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Once you finish your detailed tour around the old city, it's time for a traditional ride. Hop on the famous Abra ride to cross the creek and reach the historic Dubai Spice Souk on the other side. As you step into this vibrant market, you will be greeted by the enticing aromas of spices from around the world. We also visited the textiles souk and finished our tour at the gold souk.

A really relaxing walking tour around the older part of Dubai. We learned about the history of older Dubai and about the industries that operated at the beginning of the 19th century. We learned about how the UAE was created and the Sheiks that helped build Dubai into today's cosmopolitan city. This was one of my favorite excursions on our trip, and I recommend it to anyone wanting to soak up a bit of culture, tea, coffee, spices, and dates!
