Excellent outing, this is one of the best outings to do in Dubai in my opinion. The dune bashing is exhilarating, BBQ is delicious and entertainment is top tier.

During a "Dubai Safari" trip, we embarked on a quad biking adventure in Sharjah's desert. After sightseeing and dune bashing, we decided to try sandboarding. Trouble struck when a mysterious sound, like gunfire, rang out. Panic set in as bullets landed around us. I shielded my sister and rushed to safety. Although I felt something hit my thigh, it was dismissed by our driver. Later, I discovered a pellet-sized wound on my thigh and another on my foot. Despite the alarming incident, the trip continued with camel riding and a BBQ dinner. Be cautious when choosing desert excursions; safety is paramount. FYI - I have spent the last 8 months speaking to all the authorities and lawyers in Dubai to assist with this traumatizing incident and no-one could do anything about it - so be very careful. There is no protection, protocol or recourse for such an incident.

Despite the scorching heat, we had a most incredible day, from start to finish! Asif, our driver and tour guide was absolutely exceptional! He was very kind and patient with us all, and especially our three teenagers! Picked us up from our hotel at Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, and he brought us back to the hotel at the end of the activities. He gave us such good insights and interesting information about the numerous landmarks we drove past. Thank you so much, Asif! And sorry for all the excited shouts during the dune bashing! 😊 A thousand gold stars to you and your company! 👍🏾

The overall experience was poor, this is nothing like a private tour. Expect a tour with 39 other cars driving in convoy into a part of the desert which is like the M25 in London, quite literally nothing authentic about it. The quad bike experience was absolute shambles, 200+ quads driving chaotically in a field, a commercial joke. Our driver made 0 effort to engage with us, texting on his phone whilst driving 140kph! The only thing that was alright from this excursion was the food at the ‘village’.

Imran was our captain. It was amazing! We had the safari ride of our life. So much action and fun. Sandboarding was also nice. Imran helped us with the boards. We had everything we need. Camels and the show with BBQ were a perfect ending of a wonderful day. Imran was nice and we hope you will also get him as a rider.

The program was amazing, and the driver was perfect! He helped us anything. Next time we will choose him again. I was with my husband, son (8years old) and my parents. Everybody likes the programme.

Amazing Experience!!! The live show was tremendous! Food was excellent and the tour overall was an experience of a life time! This was our first time in Dubai and we visited with young children. Our Tour guide Sana was an amazing tour guide. He made our whole experience an excellent one. He was kind friendly and also great with the kids. When we went on our ATV ride in the desert he even watched the children for us so we could ride the ATVs. The children loved him and we couldn’t have been more happy. Thank you so much Sana for the experience of a lifetime!!!! If we even visit Dubai again we know exactly who to call.

My family and I booked a private tour in 2 cars on the 5th of January. Led by Mohammed and Mudassar, we spent time exploring the desert in a widely exhilarating safari drive! Loved the relaxed manner and experience of our two tour guides, they were attentive to our needs as a group. Super nice guys, cannot recommend enough!

The trip was really dynamic and organized! B Ellahi helped us get around! He is very nice and friendly!

We had the chance to go with Abdul, from Ammar Tour, and he is really the best. We advise to ask to have him.

We went as a family of three with Abdul, the group leader. Picked up by him from Dubai Marina Abdul explained major sights along the road. After a short break, where those, who wanted, could go for a quick quad ride, we started our way off to the sand dunes. It might look appealing for some customers to drive a quad by themselves, but don't shorten your time of dune bashing by doing so. If you are lucky to get Abdul as your driver, you are going to experience the unbridled energy of a man, worth to be called king of the desert. Make sure your stomach is strong enough to cope with a rollercoaster like ride. We didn't try the sandboarding but enjoyed watching others doing so. We also skipped the camel ride, as we had have better opportunities before. The afternoon came to an end by a nice barbecue, suitable for vegetraians. Julia, the amazing belly dancer, left us longing for more.

An amazing excursion from Dubai to the Red Sand Dessert. Our guide, Mohammad was fantastic. Very informative and friendly. He was a very skilled driver in the sand dunes and allowed plenty of time for us to take pictures and sandboard. The bedouin tent site was nice. Food was good and it was great to be able to get henna, wear traditional clothing and smoke shisha. This was an excellent excursion - so worth the money!!!

Did Desert Safari in Lahbab. They were all exceptional and a good price. Definitely recommend them this tour company.

We were overwhelmed with choice and range of prices offering the Desert Safari, happy that we chose the Ammar Tours. 1. The Car was at the lobby spot on time - comfortable and clean car and driver who could speak good english. 2. We went to the Desert scooters first (we had to pay extra for the scooter rides). 3. Then the thrilling dune bashing which inspite of all that we had read was a great experience - the skill of the driver added to the fun. 4. We had the sand surfing and sunset photo op 5. The best part of course was the Beduin camp and this is where I think the Ammar Tours offering was differentiated. The place was clean, well laid out and the dances were top class. The food spread was great - especially good vegetarian spread. 6. The Fireshow and camel ride at the end made it a great experience.

Went in to the desert today. Picked up from hotel. Drive to desert then a leisurely drive for 5 minutes to see local wildlife. Then you turn into the dunes and hold on as we were driven up down sideways and nearly upside down . They we watched sunset. Then off to camp for entertainment and dinner then drive home. Amazing experience. Well worth trip.

From the first order to the final drop off this trip has been an amazing experience! The driver was Fantastic- the group was so much fun- the Safari amazing- the camp perfect - the food delicious! We loved this day and would ALWAYS RECOMMEND this tour and organizer!

Our driver Arif picked us up from the hotel. We had a great experience really enjoyed the dinner and dance show. The driver was really nice he shared some history about the desert and also altered the speed of the vehicle as we did not want it too fast.

The tour started a little slow and we were hit by a sand storm. Once it cleared and we hit the sand dunes in the 4WD we had a superb time. The meeting point for our BBQ was also good with good clean toilets and stalls selling souvenirs. Dinner was good except I did not consider it a BBQ as all the food was pre-cooked and present. The food was great. 3 great courses of all you could eat. Male and belly dancer were equally as good and providing us with great entertainment. All in all a great experience.

We went on this tour with Muhammad, our awesome funny driver. The dune bashing portion was so much fun. No roller coaster experience can compete with this. Mohammad made sure the SUV we're in was rolling left and right at every possible angle he can. Note: go on this trip with light stomach else you will regret. The camel ride was short but good enough for first time experience of riding camel in the desert. The dinner, dancing party was extra ordinary. Well staged, well choreographed. The tour is very exciting. We loved the camel riding! The dinner was fine and the desert in the safari very amazing. Our guide Zaheer was the perfect guide! 5 stars foro him, no doubt.

Great service provided by Ammar Tours! Our tour guide, Mohamed, was a very enthusiastic and kind guy and made sure we were comfortable at all times. Watching the sunset in the desert was beautiful, and the food at the barbeque was very nice. We were provided with a large variety. Only 2 aspects you could improve in my opinion: 1. You might want to provide more than just 2 sand boards for a group of 30 people. Some people did not have the chance to enjoy sand boarding. 2. The dinner at camp could last just a little bit longer. We did not have time to enjoy some of the shisha, to ride the camel or to paint some henna. We simply ate the food, watched the belly dancing show and by the time we were done with that, it was sadly enough already time to go. Regardless of these points, we had a very nice day and would definitely recommend this company to others!

It was a very special afternoon in the desert. We had a short holiday in Dubai, that's why we were afraid that we din't get the real taste of Dubai and its countryside, but this desert safari was our best choice. We had an amazing afternoon in the desert, we got a slice of the culture. The program was very various, with great local foods and experiences. Our guide, MARWAN was very friendly and helpful, and he also provided us with very useful informations. I am sure that everybody has to book this tour, and if he do so, must choose Ammar tours.

Superb activity! From the pick-up, to the activities , as well as to the buffet. Everything went well. Our guide Latif Jan funny and attentive, he was just great. The view in the desert, just stunning.

We weren't thrilled! First of all, we decided against the quad bike ride, but then we had to spend 30 minutes there so that the schedule seemed to fit. Then we went into the desert, which we liked, as did the sandboarding! When we arrived at the camp, we went camel riding, which was about 50 meters. Which is a joke. The following visit to the camp was very touristy, which is still OK. But the buffet was by far our worst meal in years!

Really an amazing experience with our great guide Sana 👍👍👍 who was listening to us despite our very weak English!! Really recommend, you can go with your eyes closed. My children were very happy!! And it's not something easy to satisfy them😀 For all those who have doubts, I invite you to do so because otherwise you saw nothing in Dubai. Excellent company

It was a nice trip. Definitely recommended. Our guide Nabeel was very enthusiastic and guided the trip very well. The food and drink was unlimited and very tasty. The desert was impressive. Definitely highly recommended.

Very punctual pickup at the hotel. The off-roaders they have are solid and clean. Rally on the dunes very funny. Tiring but beautiful snowboarding. Cute camel ride. Great dinner and very nice even the dance show. I liked the design with henna! The only note I make is that, waiting an hour at a meeting point the three jeeps, is too much! I'd do it again anyway.

Private 4x4 in excellent condition and no expectations I advise to go solo and not in group with everyone , a great time , according to expectations! We really enjoyed it with Muhammad Imtiaz, super pilot in the dunes;)

On December 31 my family and I went on safari on the red desert dunes with BBQ dinner, surfing on the sand. Our guide and driver NABEEL was impeccable!!! He picked us up at our apartment on time and explained everything perfectly. We loved this excursion and recommend it to everyone! The +: -Very kind and considerate driver! - Very long dune-bashing and break in the desert consequent Once in camp, henna + bbq nice The - : - We had booked for 3 people and ended up with another couple, which was not planned Before we get to the desert, stop for an hour at some kind of Service Station just so we can consume - 2-minute camel ride chrono If you want a tourist activity but very well supervised do not hesitate but if you want more authentic qqch you must look for another formula....

Wild fun ride up and down by large sand cliffs in the desert. Very entertaining driver. The food was good and plenty of it.

And who expected that a tour in the desert could be so exciting, so exciting and so much fun! A fantastic experience, especially if you find a guide as formidable as our Ali, Formidable pilot on the wonderful red dunes, attentive to our every need, ready to explain everything and so kind. If you go to Dubai you can not miss this experience!!!

Our guide Ahmed picked us up from the hotel at 2.30pm in his jeep. The journey to the desert takes about an hour. We stopped at a meeting point where you can eat, drink and take a quad bike ride on the dunes (activity not included in the price of the excursion). At 5pm we left for dune bashing, very exciting. After the dune bashing, we stopped to take some pictures and sandboard the dunes. At sunset more photos and then a 5 minute ride on the camel. The camel ride is the only thing I would not do again because it seemed to me that the animals suffered a lot from carrying the weight of tourists on the rump. After the camel, we went to eat in the camp. The food is very good and the equipment very well cared for, around a large carpet on which the dancers performed for belly dance and tannura dance. Included in the price of the excursion are also the henna tattoo, the test of traditional Arabic costumes and hookah. Thanks to Ahmed for the beautiful day!

Arif our driver picked us up on time at the hotel. At the first stop you could use the toilet again and Arif let air out of the tires for the safari. And off we went and how we started. We felt safe but without screaming we women could not. Up down, right left and so on. Those who suffer from travel sickness like me must necessarily take something. After about 30 minutes we were at a dune where we could still try the sand boarding and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Once at the camp you could take a 2-minute camel ride and have your photo taken at various points. The food was good and super organized. Wie would definitely recommend the trip with Arif. Our guide Zaheer was really great! If you have any questions, he was always at our side and made the Dunes Safari really exciting! It was very funny. The trip lasted 7 hours and it was very much included. It was really fun and we would do it over and over again.

For our tour to the Dubai Desert we were picked up at our hotel by Ammar Tours. After 45 minutes of driving we arrived in the Desert, after which the 'Desert Safari' could really start. The sunset in the desert is magical (see photo) and there is also a possibility of Sandboarding. The camp where you will then be taken to eat is very cozy and you can also enjoy various shows. Very nice way to get to know the culture in Dubai.
