The tour with our guide, Mustafa, was excellent - all the way from the punctual pickup, to his extensive knowledge of the desert and animals. I did a similar tour back in 2019 and I would recommend booking the wildlife experience/white dunes experience with Oasis Tours, as the last guide was rather grumpy, whereas Mustafa was very attentive and the tour much longer than the trip to the red dunes near Sharjah. As for animals, there were plenty of Oryx, Gazelles and Flamingos around. 10/10

All the program was great, the deivers of our group were excellent and helpful. There were 2 pregnant ladies in our group and still we could enjoy a “light” version of the dune safari. Both the program and the meal, together with the general ambient atthe camp were first class, I would definitely recommend the whole pack to anyone visiting Dubai. We had a very good experience and enjoyed the safari very much. Evening camp experience with various entertainmening dance shows were outstanding. Our guide Nithin was very experienced and gave us clear instructions. I recommend this premium desert safari with Orient tours is a must have experience.

The views were amazing!! But even though we booked a private tour, it felt more like a group tour. Our driver Mr. Jafar was rushing all the activities and was very strict with everything. Even after paying a good chunk for our safari tour, we did not have the leniency to enjoy it to the fullest. Very minimal dune bashing in the morning safari so keep that in mind while booking this safari. Overall an average experience for a premium price
Had a lovely time being taken around by Ornel. Great driver on the dunes and has good knowledge to share on the drive. Very hospitable ride, was a pleasure being driven around. Also provides useful information to avoid tourist traps which I really appreciate. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering a desert safari :)

Really great experience. Nithin knows the area very well and is full of great tidbits about the history of Dubai. Always was prompt with pickups and drop offs and offered suggestions and ideas. Car is clean and he always has water for hydration. Communicates swiftly and adjusts when needed

We watched the sunrise in the desert – the sky was crystal clear, making it truly breathtaking. Our driver Nitin was very friendly, spoke excellent English, and drove with great care. The ride through the dunes added a fun bit of excitement, but thanks to his skill, it always felt completely safe. Along the way, we even spotted wild oryx and gazelles. The breakfast by the lake was also well organized and delicious. All in all, it was a fantastic experience!

The morning tour was good. I forgot the person who was the guide (Manish?), but he spoke German and English. Gave a lot of history. Waited for me when I was late returning to meet the group. Sorry and thank you! Not enough time in thespice and gold souks so be prepared to come back on your own if you seriously plan to buy things and look around. All tour guides have contacts at one of the shops and will take you there to listen to their sales pitches. It'll easily take up half of your time, so skip out on that. Get the meet time and place and go explore. For the safari, Mohammed Munir was our guide. He was polite and accommodating regarding my inability to sit in the 3rd row (I get car sick) so I appreciate that he made sure I avoided sitting back there by picking me up before the car filled up. He politely answered questions, though he didn't volunteer much like I am use to hearing on a tour. Still, glad I went. I had attended a different desert safari a few days before, and it was nice seeing the different offerings though both were comparable in different ways. This show was in a more intimate setting and simpler. The dunes were flatter, which may be better for some.The other camp I went to (Nobel) was larger and more flashy. Side note (and not necessarily the tour guides fault-I don't know) but getting my details for pickup after midnight for an early morning event, and only after I spent several hours trying to track someone down, is unacceptable. I've used Viator many times all over the world. They told me I can't get a refund after the 24hr cancellation deadline. This was at 10p and before anyone reached out from the tour company. So if a customer can't get the tour provider to respond to emails or calls by a reasonable time, and Viator can't get anyone on the phone, Viator expects the customer to eat the cost, or get up at 6a and sit in the lobby for a vehicle with no confirmation if or when it would arrive, or they expect customers to keep waking to check emails during sleeping hours. Yes, these all sound like ridiculous options to any sane person. I have no problem with the cancellation policy, but there has to be exceptions when it is out of the customer's control. What is the point of using your service if you have zero protections or the tour operators have no professional expectations? I'll be switching out Viator with a different agency for future trips. But guides were good. If I remove them and just rated the tour company and Viator, I would give 1 star for blatant unprofessionalism and the time and aggravation spent on vacation going in circles trying to get details and support from the tour agency, their hotel (palace downtown), and the Viator rep.
Tour guide was friendly and explained things well. ( we had chadu) Made it fun for me and my son. We loved the sand dunes ride and had a go at sand boarding. Plenty of food and drink on offer and good quality. Would highly recommend this tour .!

I used Orient Tours for a desert safari when I first moved to Dubai 7 years ago. They are still just as excellent. They are one of few tours that include a visit to a camel farm which my family wanted to see. Our guide Mohammed Munir was wonderful. He was punctual, very professional and very helpful throughout the trip, helping with photos and telling us information about the things we were passing on the journey. The desert camp was exceptional and the entertainment truly blew away. Excellent food too. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience - could not recommend more highly.
