Flavors Of Arabia – Old Dubai & Souks & Authentic Emirati Cuisine

My 13 year old son travel a lot, and we have done many food tours, we both agree this was on of our best tours. Pri was friendly, kind, and informative.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the old Dubai Souks. The shops were amazing with all sorts of spices I didn't know existed and some amazing perfumes which I had never smelt before. As a foodie I was so happy that I got to taste some truly authentic Arabic food and really tick that off my list with confidence. Last but not least was the incredible enthusiasm of our guide Pri! She is such a gem, so knowledgeable and personable, she was definitely a highlight. Thanks, everyone from Dubai by Foot.

This tour was the perfect experience for my first trip to Dubai! The guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. She kept the group entertained and engaged the entire time and also gave some great recommendations for places to visit/eat to help me organise the rest of my time in the city. Highly recommended!

Everything was so delicious. Pri is so knowledgeable and explained everything so well. I’m so glad I did this early in our trip because the rest of our trip I was able to identify the food that I had. Knowing the dishes and history, just made everything taste so much better. The spice market was amazing!!! I could’ve gone back and spent hours just looking at all the colors and the smells the spices. I’m already planning a shopping trip to try and get some of the spices once I get back home.

I love taking a food tour in every city I visit. It helps me understand the culture in a more intimate way. The food was tasty and the boat ride was a nice way to immerse into the experience of Dubai.

It was great to see a different, more personal side of Dubai by walking through the old town and visiting the spice market. Our Guide took us on a memorable journey through Dubai’s culinary gems. The mechboos rice was perfectly spiced, and the lamb was unbelievably tender and flavorful. The souk was vibrant filled with the scent of spices, dried roses, and rich Arabic coffee. We even picked up fresh saffron and za’atar to bring the taste of Dubai home. Must Visit.

We had an unforgettable day with Pri as our guide! The lamb was truly out of this world. Walking through its narrow lanes, we were surrounded by the rich aromas of spices like cinnamon and cloves. We found some local honey and exotic spices to bring back home. Dubai by Foot made it an unforgettable day!

It was favourite part of my Dubai Trip. Ricky was an exceptional guide, leading us through lively markets and street food stalls. We enjoyed incredible dishes like lamb mechboos and saffron desserts. The lamb, especially, was mouthwatering. We loved shopping for spices in the souk after trying such rich and flavorful dishes Highly Reommended.

The tour was nothing short of amazing! The traditional boat ride was a very nice touch. The views were amazing and the weather was just perfect. We loved learning about the infulence of Irani and Indian spices on the Emirati food. We had a very knowledgeable guide and our experience was very informative and enjoyable. Wonderful tour with our fun and caring guide Pri. The whole tour was wonderful and tailored to our interests. We tried some local street food and had an amazing Arabic meal. Pri is so easy to talk to, it felt like a tour with a friend. We’ll be back.

Our tour was amazing! Pri was the best guide, we had lots of fun and the food was great. We walked through several souks and some shops to get a feel for the specialties. She also shared history of the area. She took care of every detail. Highly recommend this tour.

This tour was so cool! It was lovely being able to see old Dubai in such an intimate way. In a walking tour like this though, the tour guide is incredibly important in order to have a good experience. Our guide, Pri, was amazing! She knew so much about the history of Dubai and had a unique perspective to show us as someone who immigrated here. She was super sweet and knew a lot of the local shopkeepers in the souk, who allowed us to get a taste or sample of their goods for free thanks to her! All the food we sampled during this tour was delicious as well :)

Extremely Amazing Food Tour, we absolutely loved it.. One of my favorite things for me and my wife to do when visiting a new country is trying their local food.. and Simply this tour was a true Gem. All the dishes offered during the tour were soo delicious and tasty. The Tour Guide Priyanka did a Great Job mixing the Facts about Food, how they prepare 'em and The facts about the history of Dubai. Really appreciating her knowledge and her passion. Will definitely recommend this tour to my friends.

We were a family of three adults and three teenagers who arrived to the tour 20 minutes late. Our guide was waiting for us patient and cheerful. Immediately we went from feeling guilty to being relaxed and then excited for the tour. We embarked on a casual informal walk through busy markets with tastings of food and culture. We were delighted to have booked this experience and to date mark it as the best thing we did in Dubai.

We did the Flavors of Arabia food tour with the amazing Pri as our guide. It was an excellent experience, for both resident and visitor alike. Pri is knowledgeable, engaging, and completely delightful as a guide. The area of town that is the focal point of the tour is filled with historic buildings, bustling commerce, surprising alleys, and delicious food. The sights, sounds, smells (ah...the Spice Souk!), and flavors guarantee that you will remember this tour. Highly recommended, whether you are visiting Dubai or have lived there for years.

30 minutes after contacting for a private tour we were all set. The four of us loved our evening historic walk tasting and stopping at small restaurants tucked inside the sooks. One of has some allergies so a few changes had to be made but seemed easy enough. Food was absolutely delicious and a lot. All the stories she shared were enthralling. Every dollar spent was worth it.

The Dubai by Foot flavors of Arabia food tour was great. Pri, our guide, was awesome and super knowledgeable. You get to learn about the history while tasting authentic Emirati cuisine. There is plenty of food so come hungry. Highly recommend you do it!
