We had an amazing day on the desert safari and enjoyed every moment. The buggy ride, sandboarding, and dune bashing were all great fun and perfectly organized. In the evening, we enjoyed a delicious BBQ along with small shows and an impressive fire performance. Our tour guide Ahmad was extremely friendly and took great care of us throughout the entire day, making the experience even more special. Thank you for this unforgettable adventure!

Our guide Qamar made the trip extra special he picked me up right on time with a big, friendly smile and was incredibly warm and professional throughout the entire tour. The safari itself was thrilling and well-planned, with off-road driving, beautiful desert views, and plenty of fun along the way. You can tell Qamar genuinely cares about his guests and loves what he does. He made sure we were comfortable, safe, and having fun at every moment. And let me tell you, the man knows his way around the sand like a falcon knows the wind. Ahmad picked us up right on time in a beast of a 4x4, fully stocked, clean, and blasting the perfect road trip playlist. His energy was warm, welcoming, and just the right mix of professional and fun. As we drove out of the city and into the heart of the desert, he shared stories about the land, Bedouin culture, and his own adventures—which made the drive fly by. Dune bashing? Unreal. Ahmad handled those dunes like a pro rally driver. We screamed, we laughed, and yes, we may have held onto our seats for dear life a few times—but we felt completely safe the entire time. He knew every dip, crest, and thrill spot in the area. Next up was sunset photos, and Ahmad didn’t just drop us off—he helped us find the perfect angles, even snapping a few photos that are now proudly sitting as my phone background. His photography skills? Unexpectedly top-notch. After that, we headed to the camp for a night of traditional food, camel rides, henna, and live entertainment. Ahmad made sure we were always taken care of, had front-row seats to the show, and never once felt rushed or overlooked. We spent an amazing evening enjoying the sand and the multiple activities (quad bike, dune bashing, sandboarding, drinks, food, shows, etc). Except for a few top ones, the rest of the vendors are pretty standardized in this space. Mostly they generate leads and pass on to their drivers for pick up and safari. Quad biking is provided by a separate vendor for all safaris for a fixed menu fee so book directly on the spot rather than pay a premium to the safari provider. Similarly, camp is shared by all and is pretty basic. So Desert Leap is good in that they charged a fair price for pretty standard service Dirham 125 per person without Quad Bike. The same service was offered by others for up to 200 Dirhams. And yes, they claim 30 minutes of Dune bashing but provide only 10 minutes. Though it didn't seem like we were shortchanged as I said all are pretty much the same. Our driver was polite and on time. Overall, go for the cheapest for pretty standardized service who is basically professional and Deser Leap Safari checked boxes.

The staff was friendly, and the Can-Am buggy was really quick. I'm not so much into taking loads of photos of myself, I would've preferred just to stop once, then just drive for the rest of the time. But, overall it was a fun experience.

I have nothing but praises and appreciation for Tufail who managed the whole experience. The pickup was as punctual as it could be. Conversations with him on the way to the red dunes were really good as he shared a lot of information regarding the history of the country and their culture. The car was very clean and refrigerated bottles of water were a bonus. Coming to the dune bashing, you could tell he is very experienced. The whole drive was awesome and bang for the buck. You get to enjoy the best parts of the high red dunes and the whole ride is exhilarating. He is great at photography too. I travelled solo and not once did I feel that I was alone. He has a great sense of humour and bonded the whole group in his car really well. He kept making sure that all of us were comfortable and having a great time. He also ensured us a table right in front of the stage for the performances. It was really good to experience the talent of the different performers. The only downside was the buffet food but I don't hold these guys responsible for that as it is not under their control. I highly recommend Tufail and do ask for him for your tour if he is available. You will enjoy every bit of it. Value for money guaranteed!

We were coming with friends from different European countries. It was an exciting trip, the great expectation for the trip, and it really fulfilled our expectations. Well organized, the drivers were sharp at the hotel, new cars, and excellent services. All the activities the tour includes were greatly organized. Our special thanks to Calvin the tour leader from Desert Leap Safari. He really makes the desert a true adventure. We will repeat for sure.

Super friendly, enthusiastic and experienced guide, also an experienced driver! From pick-up to drop-off experience a top service. We did the safari with four young children, ages 3 to 7. The kids liked it as much as we did. Addition: the kids are not easily afraid of some exciting / wilder ‘attractions’. For the rest at locations well organized.

It was a bad experience for many reasons. I travel a lot and it’s the 4th time I come to dubai and go on safari. It was a big disappointment. I'm not a sour tourist, though, who always grumbles. Why it was a bad experience: -from the email exchanges to book the activity it was complicated. Lack of information, unclear answers in less than 5 words. -we took the quad option, the quads did not exceed 25km/h and even when we were driving at 25km/h there was always someone who would drive at us to force us to slow down. 10 times a person came to force me to slow down, I ended up stopping the activity and returning their quad. The land for quad biking does not exceed 1.5 square kilometers. So very small to have fun while a good thirty quads on the ground. -I chose this quad option for my two 9 year old boys who are a fan of motorsports, they had the strict ban to drive the quad (despite being behind them on the quad), I don’t know why because the last three years when I went to other companies, they were allowed to drive. The staff were very aggressive towards us and there were no discussions possible. -at the camps in the evening, everything was extra charge despite that on the package sold, we were told that all were included in the price. So I had to add 50 euros out of pocket for different services even though announced in the catalog. The people in the camps were aggressive and mocking (yes I understand Arabic!!) – our guide driver who had to look after us was very non-existent in the face of our problems. There was an hour on the way back he spent yelling all along the phone with his interlocutors. We were sold 30 minutes of safari, we did 15 minutes maximum. -very bad food and very low quantity. - we were sold the premium offer for the safari, I did ask for the vip in my reservation, but nothing at all, I had to share my vehicle with people and we were poorly settled for the meal (although I paid the VIP offer) Don’t get fooled go elsewhere you will avoid having a bad day.
