Zeesham was a wonderful tour guide! He is a wizard behind the wheel and just glided over the dunes. He is also very personable and told us many fun and interesting facts about the local history and people. The food was excellent and the Camel rides were fun. The camp was very well organised and great to explore.
Glad we did the night trip, the daytime temperature was in the high 30's and would have been uncomfortable. Our guide, Nadeem, was as dry as the desert air but a lot of fun. He made sure we all were comfortable and well supplied with water. The food was excellent, but be quick as they rotate it out quickly, so all you can eat isn't quite true if you're too slow.
Waiting around to start for 45mins in desert heat to get started wasn't the greatest start. The Dune bashing and desert camp themselves were incredible. The food was lovely and everyone was super friendly. The show at the end of the night was a bit week and odd but the fire show at the very end was very good and rescued it.

What an amazing afternoon and evening we had. The sand dunes and sand boarding while the sun set were beautiful. There was fun and excitement and our guide/driver Zada Irfan was the best. He made sure we experienced the best of everything and had great photos to take home to remember it by. It was very good value.

We had a wonderful experience booking with OceanAir Travels, we got exactly what the package said! Our Tour guide Abid Wahid was incredible and very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to ensure our group was satisfied and comfortable. The ATV experience was amazing! Along with the camp site, dune bashing , dinner, horse and camel show. We closed off with a wonderful fire show 10/10. Food was also amazing! I would def do this again!! Great work to the OceanAir team for arranging such an amazing experience.
This was my 6th time doing this tour, I dint know why they have changed it, the Al Khama camp is so much better, the food was good but not as good and entertainment was dire, normally it starts before 8 and goes for over an hour, this was worst one I’ve been to. There were some camels led in background, some sort of semi dance and horses led in circles. Sort the entertainment out as it used to be brilliant! Disappointed would not book this again unless reverts to what used to be!

This tour was outstanding. We received confirmation message the day prior with instructions and on the day with the name of our driver. Akbar Jan was an excellent - punctual and very pleasant. His car was spotless and he offers explanations of the activités throughout the day. We rode ATVs,went dune bashing which was amazing, fell off a sand board but laughed all the way nonetheless, had a camel ride, got a henna tattoo and ate the most delicious BBQ dinner with the bread cooked in the tandoor. Overall an excellent day - very well organised !

They rush you throughout this tour and you spend more time traveling to and from where the activities take place. The price they charge is not worth it. But other than those challenges, this was a very nice but short experience.

Great experience, for a very good prices I got to do the buggy ride, dune bashing, camel riding, amazing delicious dinner, and a spectacular horse camel and fire shows! Our guide Ubaid Ullah made it even better - he was right on time, very kind and gave lots of fun facts, clear instructions. 100% would do this again.
What an experience! The Dubai desert safari was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Our driver, Istikar, was brilliant and genuinely made the whole experience even better. He was friendly, knowledgeable and made sure we had a great time throughout. His picture-taking skills are also top-notch — he knew all the best spots and got some amazing photos for us! The dune bashing was an absolute highlight, and the camp afterwards was great, with plenty of activities to get involved in. The BBQ was also really tasty and the perfect way to finish the evening. A brilliant experience that I’d definitely recommend, and a special thanks to Istikar for making it even more memorable!

The trip was great but was not prepared for sand dune rides. It was wild for us. We were sitting at back off 4 wheel vehicle and didnt like the rough rides.
Our Dubai desert safari with Ocean Air Travels was fantastic from start to finish. From the quad biking, camel ride & horse riding to the delicious BBQ dinner, there was so much to enjoy. We also got to watch a beautiful desert sunset, which was truly unforgettable. 🌅 The live cultural shows during dinner were a lovely way to immerse ourselves in the local culture & we really enjoyed the traditional music & atmosphere. 🎶✨ We also loved the falcon experience, getting to take photos & gently pat the falcon, along with the tea, coffee & refreshments throughout the evening. And then came the stargazing! 🌌 We looked through the telescope & were incredibly lucky to see Saturn so clearly - absolutely magical. 💫 It was such a special moment & something we’ll genuinely cherish. But honestly, Rashid was the highlight of the entire experience! 🙌 He was incredibly friendly, attentive, knowledgeable & genuinely passionate about making sure we had the best time. What an amazing experience from start to finish. We spent around 9 hours with our driver and guide, Elias, and I honestly can't say enough good things about him. He picked us up exactly at the time we were given on WhatsApp and from the moment we met him he was friendly, respectful and very knowledgeable. He explained everything properly throughout the day and treated everyone with kindness. We ended up doing the quad bikes (I did the driving 😂), followed by the desert safari, and everything was so well organised. Elias looked after us the whole time. Even something as simple as the traditional head scarves — every time we took them off, he would patiently help us put them back on again! Another thing we really appreciated was the photos. Everywhere we stopped, Elias would take our phones and take pictures of us without us even having to ask. And he actually took some amazing shots! We came away with so many great memories from the day because of him. The 4x4 was brand new, very comfortable and Elias was an excellent driver. The whole day ran smoothly and never felt rushed or disorganised. The cherry on top was the desert camp. Food was genuinely 10/10, with plenty to choose from and ice-cold soft drinks included. There was complimentary Arabic coffee, tea and sweets, henna tattooing, camel rides and the evening shows including an amazing fire show. And a special mention for the air-conditioned tents — an absolute lifesaver for us melting Brits in the middle of the Dubai desert 😂. The whole experience was fantastic value and we loved every second of it. If you're booking this safari and you get Elias as your driver/guide, you're in very good hands. He genuinely helped make the experience special for us. 10/10 experience and 10/10 for Elias. Highly recommended!

We had a great adventure, Ilyas was our guide and he was fantastic. It was fantastic how many activities we were able to fit into the trip, and such great value. We upgraded and did the ATV in the dunes, I was reluctant but my son really wanted to do it and I’m so pleased we did. We had a great time. The first stop did feel like a lot of salesman were trying to push things on you and I think an explanation before hand would help, but they were not pushy and the scarfs we bought not o my helped with the sand but felt authentic to the activities. There is a bit of driving on main roads but overall the experience id great. The camp was lovely, welcoming and we were really looked after. So many activities and we enjoyed them all. I would definitely recommend this tour, the only negative for me was that the car used was very hot and the air conditioning seemed to work sporadically. We shared a car with another family so there were 7 persons with the driver and we were sat in the very rear of the vehicle, it was very uncomfortable at times but despite this it really was a fantastic tour. Memories for a lifetime. x

Great experience! The dune bashing and sand boarding were our favorite. Other highlights were the camel eiding and the buffet. Food. was fresh and very flavorful. We did come over the summer so it was very hot so dress accordingly and be prepared for the heat. We did a private tour. Our guide Rashid was the best. Very informative amd knowlegable about Dubai and the UAE. He was also very accomodating to our group and made tbe exoerience honestly twice as good. If you book please definitely ask for Rashid as your guide. Highly recommend both the tour and our guide.

Our guide encouraged us to experience the sand boarding, @ 72 yo never in my wildest dream, I’d be sand boarding at all. But it’s was an experience for me and my husband. The dune bashing was scary at first but it was an experience of a lifetime same with the camel ride. It’s worth to mention our Falcon guy Mohammad Qasam was very patient and helpful. It was a private tour of 3 couples but the 2/couples didn’t try the sand boarding. The dinner buffet was plentiful but we can only eat so much. The Arabian horse show was awesome, likewise the yoga dancer was so experienced at his craft. All the shows at the camp were very unique and entertaining. This tour is highly recommended when vacationing in DUBAI.

Oceanair team was super professional and accommodative. Their communication was excellent leading up to the experience and during the experience. All their staff was super friendly. Special mention about our driver Akbar who was very informative and ensured our comfort and safety at all times.
It was truly an amazing day, and everyone there was very helpful and took great care of us. We had a wonderful day filled with fun. The only comment I have is about the food — the portion size was very large, but I personally didn’t like it. Hassan, Omar, and the Arabic guys in the first tent who were responsible for renting the ATVs were very helpful and welcoming.
When you read what is offered with a nighttime booking it sounds wonderful. BUT that’s where it stops. I cannot recommend as the activities listed were not delivered. To start our day we were driven 45 mins to a meeting room where we were approached by salesmen selling perfume, head scarfs and jewellery. We then departed for sand boarding and after 2 runs each it was time to go only 4 in our group. We then proceeded to a 30 min activity of Dune Bashing where we waited 20 min for another car to join us which did not show. The dune bashing was fun and a stop for a photo happen. From there we were driven to our dining experience. During this time our driver offered no information. When we arrived at our final stop our driver advised us that he would wait in the car and when we were ready just come back to him. We expected an amazing time as our tour was at night it was to include dressing in authentic Arabian clothing, Falconry show, Fire show, Belly Dancing, Arabian Horse show and Camel show. Unfortunately none of this happened. When asked why we were told it’s not peak season. Definitely over price and not value for money.
I’ve traveled the world and this was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The tour was an unbelievable value for everything included. From seamless hotel pickup to the thrilling 4x4 vehicle ride (I upgraded on site) over the red dunes, camel rides, sandboarding, Arabic makeovers, incredible BBQ buffet, cultural shows, and stargazing under the desert sky, every part of the experience exceeded expectations. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the day even more special with insights about local culture. The tour company and hospitality were outstanding from start to finish. It was so good, I booked another tour with the same company just a couple of days later — and that says everything. If you’re considering this experience, don’t hesitate. Truly unforgettable.
