Mansoor is a very nice guide with a lot of Knowledge on a full range of history, species etc. We really enjoyed the tour , the watertaxi was a Nice extra.

We spent a day exploring the traditional markets of Dubai, and it was honestly one of the highlights of the trip. From the moment we stepped into the narrow lanes of the souks, everything felt alive — the colours, the sounds, the smells of spices and incense drifting through the air. Our guide was incredible. He didn’t just walk us through the markets; he brought the history and culture to life, explaining the stories behind the spice trade, the significance of gold in Emirati culture, and how bargaining works (which made shopping way more fun). He also knew exactly where to stop for the best saffron, perfumes, textiles, and souvenirs without feeling pressured. Crossing the creek on a traditional abra boat was a special touch — simple, authentic, and a beautiful contrast to Dubai’s modern skyline. What I loved most was how immersive the experience felt. It wasn’t rushed or touristy; it felt like stepping into the heart of old Dubai. If you want to experience the real culture beyond the skyscrapers and malls, this tour is an absolute must. Highly recommend — I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Our guide, Monsoor, met us as planned for a nice historical walk through old town. He integrated numerous local food stops into our tour, using his connections at many establishments. Same was true across Dubai Creek at the souks. His connections put us at ease when haggling for tea, oils, and spices. At the end, he even helped us find the most efficient taxi ride back to our hotel. Fun day!

Mansoor Ali took us on a phenomenal walking tour of Old Dubai. As we ate our way through the tour, we learned about the rich history of Dubai, its customs and most importantly its food. Our tour started in an original house and then we meandered through the different souks ( markets) and traveled across Dubai creek to see the older markets. Such a fun and informative day.

Our experience was top notch! A food tour can be tricky as you are trying to blend history with culture and eating. As a guide you have to be able to know your audience and our guide Mansoor Ali was perfect! He was extremely attentive and very knowledgeable. The portions were generous and super authentic. Mazher our guide was very knowledgeable of “old Dubai” We did a 3 hour food and cultural tour as a family. We had 3 teenagers with us and I think they actually enjoyed it. The old Royal compound is beautifully maintained and lovely to walk around. The food stops were tasty and plentiful. The first stop was Chicken Schwarma and it was delicious and the lamb soup at the last stop was very good. Highly recommend this tour.

Mazher was awesome very informative and funny. The saffron vendor was funny but his buddy threw like $300 usd worth of saffron which was more than I needed.

First of all, Ali, our guide, is AMAZING! His passion for the history of Dubai and the UAE is a great way to learn about this amazing country! The food we had was absolutely delicious, and I often felt like a local vs being a tourist. Having done many tours of many cities, I can honestly say this was amongst the best I have ever had. It doesn’t get better!

AMAZING TOUR - AMAZING TOUR GUIDE we flew in from LA to see Dubai before heading to SoAfrica and didn’t want our tour with Mansoor Ali to end! He took us to all the hidden gems in Old Dubai the throngs of tourists don’t know about yet we saw all the major “must see” sites. The food tour part of the day as the best - as good as we’ve had in Greece and Vietnam. Will DEFINITELY hire him again when we return with our kids!
