Dubai Desert Safari - Premium Bbq Dinner & Quad Bike Option

Today 27 February 2026. I took my parents on their first time ever desert safari and i used this company (Dream Journey). The guide Mr Qamar was absolutely amazing, well dressed and well presented, he was really amazing with me and my family, a very humble person. We entered the red dunes and immediately i could pick up on his skill level the way he approaches the dunes and how he handles the car from vehicle control to chosing the correct gear, Qamar knows his stuff. My mother was so nervous as it was her first time, but after we did the photo stop she was calm and enjoyed it even more. What sets Qamar apart from other companies and other guides is the fact that even though he was fasting he continued to check on me and my family and ensure that we always have enough water to drink. I will most certainly make use of this company again and the vehicle was in great condition and very clean. The service was good. The BBQ dinner was just as good and the camp area was ok too. The only downside i had was at the camp area there are guys there trying to sell you thing and its multiple people selling the same things so 4 different people would come and ask you if you want to buy the same thing, 4 different people would come and ask if you want to smoke sisha its was very annoying but eventually after saying no thanks about 9 times only then it became very enjoyable dinner experience, and then there was the insanely long drive to the camp, almost 1 hour drive. But overall it was an amazing experience. Please pass our thanks to Qamar for such great service.

Adventurous and exciting. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with family. Food quality and taste could have been better but not complaining considering the overall experience.

He was extremely professional, polite, and knowledgeable about the routes and local attractions. His friendly attitude, safe driving, and helpful nature made our trip much smoother and more enjoyable. We truly appreciated his punctuality and the way he went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. It was a pleasure traveling under his guidance, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and courteous driver.

We did the quad bike experience into dinner - was an awesome experience and our driver awais was awesome. Brought good energy, very insightful and made sure we got to do everything we wanted on the tour. People we went with said it was the best bang for buck tour they’ve done because they done a few of the same tours

It was a great seamless tour. No wait time for camel rides or the buggy drive. Moreover our guide Awais had great experience and was an expert in the sandbashing session

Awais was fantastic!! He was so fun and made our experience really enjoyable. The dune bashing was epic! Definitely pay extra for the ATV!

Mohammed was a fantastic tour guide. From the moment he collected us he gave us information about everything we passed. The activities were fantastic and our kids had the most amazing night! Mohammed was with us all night, no shuttles, no changing vehicles, just the best! I would definitely recommend Mohammed and Dream Journey!!!

We had the best experience with Said Khan. This is our first time in Dubai and it was definitely one of our best experiences. Said made it amazing with his photography skills and his good spirit! We truly appreciate everything he’s done for us during our time together! He really does give all his attention to his customers’ need. From pick-up till drop off at the hotel, this was truly a 5 star experience. Perfect whatsapp communication with our amazing guide Mr Brown. Girls especially loved the quad ride. This was optional and only two of us did it. Our guide was so helpful and told us lots of things about the desert and city. We were only 6 people in our tour so very personal approach. Fantastic experience, well worth the money, excellent value. Ali was our tour guide and was great. Collection from hotel, quad biking, dune ride in 4x4, photo in the desert, sand boarding, canal riding, dinner BBQ with shisha. Amazing.

Our guide was Alam, in small groups we rode buggy, had dune bashing, really cool experiences. After that we could have some photoshoots in the desert and trying sandboarding. Then we were brought to the camp for a short ride on a camel and BBQ dinner at the camp, there were also 3 different great shows. Definitely recommened this journy. Alam was very supportive and friendly.

If you have the opportunity to do frankly do not hesitate, we had as a guide syyad he is very warm and professional and punctual he will put you very at ease it is the best he takes you in picture you propose to make of the snowboard the tour of safari in the desert was just super he is with the care with his group proposes to drink if need be Concerning the camp the personnel is very welcoming the bbq is very good and the spectacle is perfect special mention for the guide syyad because one sees that it is a person who adores his trade a it was a splendid experience .

My family and I had a great time with Rashid as our guide. Rashid was very patient and made sure everyone had a great time including sand boarding, camel back riding as well as Rashid’s patience in taking pictures to remember for the guests to take home. I strongly recommend this tour!

Our family of four, including two boys ages 3 and 6, were picked up by Ibrahim to go on, what turned out to be, a super fun adventure. We were first taken to an entertainment park where we did a short camel ride, my older boy went on his first quad bike ride alone!! and my husband subjected us to a rather thrilling jeep ride on the sand. But the next part of our trip was the highlight- Ibrahim, our driver, took us onto the sand dunes (dune bashing ride) and asked us if we wanted a slow or speedy ride. With two young boys I said - slow and he was truly accommodating. He constantly checked in with all of us to see how we were doing. When we got to the picture point, it was truly a sight to behold. And then I got to try sand boarding on my bottom!! I failed miserably but had the most awesome time! Haha On the way back, the boys screamed out in unison that they wanted a more bumpy dune bashing experience. Ibrahim obliged but was very cautious considering the young boys and was constantly making sure we were still having a great time. And we did!! We had a truly memorable experience and Ibrahim’s courteousness definitely made a super comfortable, safe and exciting adventure for us. Thank you!!! Raj and family

Absolutely amazing and stunning desert safari. We had the pleasure of being taken by Rashid, who was efficient, timely and friendly. He put in a lot of effort into the tour, spent a long time helping us take amazing pictures in the desert. He was very knowledgeable and gave us relevant history and background throughout our journey. He was really good at driving on the dunes, and made sure we were in the best spot for the sunset. I recommend this company, and ask for Rashid he was phenomenal, 10/10.

Sunset red Dune Safari started with: pick up from the Hotel, well communicated & ON TIME, perfect! - well experienced driver, Shamsher take you safely to side, perfect! - after a short break, the action starts, - enough time to set up a action cam on the site of the car enjoying the safe & well experienced driving. - get out of the car time to time just breathe the wind of desert - take time to record the view on camera - go to a viewing place, awaiting the sunset - driver, very kind assisted in taking pictures - other short break & car check for your safety - Return to hotel, in time convenient & small talk with the long time experienced driver - a priceless experience! - Highly recommended! - Unforgettable !

A truly fantastic experience, my family and I didn't think we were having so much fun, the rally on the desert dunes was breathtaking! I can't help but praise our driver who was very courteous and friendly with us, made us feel great and took care of us as old friends. WE WILL DEFINITELY REPEAT THIS EXPERIENCE

In the afternoon we were picked up at the hotel and drove together with another couple into the Arabian desert. There we had a short camel ride before the desert safari started. The trip itself was a lot of fun, and we were able to make a stop where we had the opportunity to practice sandboarding - we liked this very much, because we missed this last time with another tour operator. We also liked the fact that you could take nice pictures of the dunes during the stop. After another safari ride we had another stop on a dune shortly before the end, where we could enjoy the sunset. Afterwards we were driven back to the hotel (booked without dinner). We recommend this company and would book the same tour again immediately!

The whole desert experience was nice but not very special. The camel right was only 5-10 Minutes on animals, which did not look very good cared for. Everything else was ok but nothing extraordinary. We hat that day trip with another couple from Germany and the minute they got out of the car at their hotel, our tour guide perpetrated the typical stereotype of a sexist man without boundary’s or respect for woman. He not only hit on us very aggressively but also mad us feel very uncomfortable with his words and the way he looked at us at the car ride back. He stated multiple times that two young cute „girls“ like us (we are in our 30 btw) shouldn‘t be traveling alone but rather entertaining him. Therefore I would only recommend this day trip only if women are traveling with male companionship or in larger groups.

It was a very nice day in the dunes. Driver was very nice and is a excellent photographer. I can really recommend this tour to everyone.

We had the best day, staff were amazing making sure we were able to take part in everything and then the drive over the sand dunes was brilliant. The thrill and excitement of going over and the skill of the driver was incredible. Would definitely do it again and would recommend anyone to do it.
