Itinerary
Your tour starts with a pickup from your Dubai hotel. Relax in your comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and listen as your guide tells you facts and stories about this skyscraper-packed city and its recent development.
Drive along the vast, 16-lane Sheikh Zayed Road, craning your neck to see the passing high rises. Admire Souk Madinat Jumeirah, an extravagant recreation of a traditional Arabian marketplace. Then, view the iconic Burj Al-Arab hotel. The building stands on an artificial island and soars to a height of 1,053 feet (321 meters), making it a must for your photo album.
Continue to Palm Jumeirah, the man-made island that is one of Dubai’s signature landmarks. Designed in the shape of a palm tree, the sandy archipelago is fringed with luxury villas and exclusive hotels. Drive through Atlantis The Palm hotel — arguably the island’s most famous building — that stands imperiously on the edge of the Persian Gulf.
Next, head to Ski Dubai, the first indoor ski resort to be built in the Middle East. View its giant ski runs through the glass exterior and learn how powerful snow guns renew the snow on the slopes every night, fresh for the next day.
Afterward, stop at Burj Khalifa, one of the world’s highest buildings. Dwarfing Dubai’s skyline, this space-age tower stands at a remarkable 2,772 feet (828 meters). Lean back, peer upwards and you might just see the top! Continue to Burj Khalifa Lake to see the Dubai Fountain Show. Stretching across the water, these performing fountains were designed by WET, the company behind the famous Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas. During a show, they put on a dazzling 5-minute display of theatrical sprays illuminated by 6,600 lights and lasers. Watch spellbound as the fountains dance, twist and shoot water high in the air in time to Arabic and classical music. After the show, rejoin your vehicle and finish your tour with a hotel drop-off. Note: Dubai Fountain Management reserves the right to call off the show without prior notice

Faisal was very helpful and informative. He almost gave a great tour around Dubai city showing us and giving all information about history and facts. Thanks
My mum and I went on a private halfday citytour of Dubai. We had the best time. Our guide, Faisal was very knowledgeable and friendly, and besides showing us a lot of the old and the modern Dubai, he was very patient and respectful with my mum too, which we very much appreciated. The views were amazing, the Abra tour was a very nice experience and after our tour we had dinner in a gorgeous restaurant overseeing the fontein and Burj Khalifa. It was a fantastic day, one we will most likely never forget.
Mr Anees was a great guide through out the day. Really helped us to explore dubai. Don’t forget to ask him to click a picture for you as he is great photographer too.
I can confidently say Orient Tours was one of the most memorable travel experiences I've had. A significant part of what made this trip so incredible were our exceptional tour guides, Nimesh and Chamil. Both Nimesh and Chamil made everyone in our group feel welcome and at ease. Their warm, friendly personalities combined with their knowledge of Dubai truly made the experience. I appreciated their flexibility and willingness to accommodate our requests when it came to last minute changes. They always went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time possible. Thank you Nimesh and Chamil for creating an amazing first time in Dubai for me!
Excellent and informative guide Anees Showed us and educated us about Dubai …the people, history, culture and sites. Absolutely would use him again
Best tour guy .. very knowledgeable and accommodating! 5 start service all the way. Always smiling , attentive and always assisting everyone in our small 3 person group
As a solo and first-time traveler to Dubai, I was extremely pleased with the professional and stellar services I received from Orient Tours, in collaboration with my local tour company from Tanzania, Alfazulu. The team helped me select and narrow down activities and accommodations within my interests and budget before I left my original destination. The process was very straightforward and prompt, given that I had informed them of my arrival only 2 days prior. I had a detailed itinerary and all my activity vouchers sent to me in advance. Upon my arrival in Dubai, I was greeted with flowers and cake! What a treat! Throughout my stay, the team was constantly in touch with me directing me on my pick-up and drop-off arrangements and ensuring I was safe and sound. They went the extra mile to even track my traffic movements with my drivers and requested extra waiting times for activities I was slightly delayed for. Furthermore, the team was exceedingly quick and gracious in resolving any misunderstandings. I was heard and understood without any pushback from the team. I was even lucky enough to receive a generous complimentary offer to watch the La Perle show. I fell sick on my last day and the driver assigned to drop me off at the airport was so kind. He offered me first aid medication which enabled me to have the strength to walk through the airport and board my flight on time. I 100% recommend Orient Tours for any form of travel arrangement, solo or family. They go above and beyond for their customers and the experience is worth EVERY PENNY. A very special thanks goes to Ali Mansoor who was on top of my stay, even guiding me through malls. Ali, you are a superstar! Thanks to Hemalina for your coordination of events. Many thanks to all the amazing drivers and tour guides who shuttled me around, they were all soooo courteous and caring. Last, but not least, to the superwoman who guided my decisions and every move, Vaheeda, you are simply the best. Lots of love to the whole Orient Tours Team from Tanzania who made my stay a pleasant home-away-from-home experience.
Faisal was very nice and very knowledgeable. It is a great tour if you want to have a quick overview of the Dubai. Burj Khalifa is a must.
Words cannot explain our amazing 7 days in Dubai, and our tour guide Hussain was the cherry on top! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, timely and instantly became family. Our group of 15 attributes the trips success to the thorough research of KNB Travel and our tour guide Hussain!
Our experience in Dubai was enriched with the empathy created between us, the guide Junaid and the driver Jhamil, which made everything much more pleasant. They provided a service beyond professional. Congratulations to the team!
Great tour especially since we only had 2 days in Dubai. Nimesh was very knowledgeable and gracious. He is very informative, personable, and friendly. We didn’t have an agenda planned, but told Nimesh what we were interested in, and he took us to many hidden gems in Dubai. Truly one of the best excursions ever, don’t hesitate to book, and ask for Nimesh. Would highly recommend. A must do specially if you are short with time. A great way to see Dubai with kids. I had to reschedule this tour a couple times because of flight delays and Orient Tours worked with me patiently to make it happen.

I waited to review this tour in the hopes that the title would be changed in response to other posts. Since it hasn't, I don't feel bad leaving three stars. This is basically a hop on hop off tour of Dubai. There is no information given, no theme of development, just driving between major places in Dubai. It was great getting to so many different locations without paying for a cab. However, don't go into this expecting to learn about Dubai.

Reasonably priced and acts as a good primer for places to revisit if done at the start of your stay. My particular tour had issues with picking up another party from a different hotel meaning we were sat outside the first stop for an hour before the guide showed up. Not great fun with 3 kids in tow!

This tour certainly NOT an architecture tour. Our tour guide was informative but not on architectural buildings. We saw more shopping venues than buildings. There are so many skyscrapers in Dubai that we thought we would learn about but we did not. This tour was more a mere sightseeing tour. How disappointing!

It was good tour to see modern Dubai from near. Guide and car were in time. Music fountain and Burj Khalifa were excellent. Should given more time in Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. Tour was value for money.

About an hour late starting. Lacked quantity and substance.

Id definitely recommend that you ditch this tour and go for the big red bus which is slightly more expensive. The tour guide ours was a grumpy gentlemen with a gecko tattoo in his neck has to present in two different languages, which means that you miss out on hearing facts at the appropriate times. Not only this, but the tour is so rushed, that youre only allowed time to take a quick photo before being whisked to the new location i.e. our guide only gave us the bear minimum information, I get the sense that he doesnt love living in Dubai, which was a bit disspointing. Id recommend the big red bus so that you can take time to experience each location properly. Sorry Viator, this ones a fail.

Dreadful - I was really looking forward to this tour to learn more about the history of the iconic buildings but can honestly say that I learned nothing. Our guide was extremely hard to understand and read a few facts from a sheet. Predominantly we spent time in two malls and a small souk. We didn't go for any photos by the Al Berj which I was disappointed about. The tour was a complete waste of time and money - don't do it!

A very informative tour although I thought very rushed. Our guide seemed pushed for time and did manage to lose two of our party. The sights we saw were magnificent with the highlight being The Dancing Fountains Another tour I would recommend.

Was amazing.thanks Dejan... Ahmed Khalifa 00966543425748

The title is very misleading, there is no 'architectural' information provided at all. It should be called Mall Visits. Not what I wanted or expected. Very boring disappointing and a waste of my valuable time.

For a first time visitor, it was a great tour to get orientated and learn about this fascinating city. Our guide was very good and informative speaking in English and German.

We were expecting an architecture based tour, with a guide who would inform us about who and how the main buildings were built in Dubai. Though our guide was lovely, he gave us a general tour of Dubai without any emphasis on architecture.
There was a mix up with coaches and a fair bit of confusion at the start: pick up taxi, dropped at a roundabout near a hotel, short mini bus ride, joined a big group on a bus then back to roundabout for first stop!
All in all, we got to see a lot of the city through bus windows as we sat in rush hour traffic a lot. Taking us to Ski Dubai for a quick photo next to the glass window inside the Mall with 22 others is not an architecture tour.

Great way to see the new buildings all in.a short afternoon, nice and friendly guide.

They whole tour was not well coordinated. The tour was supposed to be from 3 - 8 pm. I got picked up at 3:35. Then we went to another hotel and waited another 45 minutes for another group that never showed. The driver basically drove us to malls and shops. The information he gave was a bunch of numbers that he was reading from a fact sheet - apparently from Wikipedia! He had to keep repeating the same facts to fill space because he didn't have anything else to say.
I was very impressed that he spoke German and that he had to repeat everything in both German and English. His Indian accent was very thick and was hard to understand.
I give architecture tours in Chicago. I expected a LOT better. Tell me what the buildings say about Dubai and its architectural plan. Does architecture reflect culture? Say something about the amazing feats and firsts in the construction of the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab. Say something about how the buildings relate to each other.
Overall, not worth it.

This tour is value for money by orient tour. The tour guide is great. An drop off at the atlantis for 0.5 hour would be good. Air-con bus is comfortable and driver is on time and helpful. We also joined the private city tour on the 8th jul and the tour guide from sir lanka is excellent and kind.

Good view of some of the major sites. Visited the Mall of the Emirates to see Ski Dubai and the light fountain show. Guide was on time. Spoke clear English. Good tour for the money. I would recommend.

Informative tour about the past and current developments in Dubai

Very interesting visit to the must-see places of Dubai, in just four hours, from Burj al Arab to the souks of gold and spices, via the Marina and Burj Kalifa. Our driver, Anees, answered all our questions without any problems. Water was provided! Must do when you have time to kill during an airport transit.
