Itinerary
Your experience begins at Dubai Mall, home to the magnificent Burj Khalifa ‘At The Top’ — the world’s tallest building. Pass through security before boarding a moving sidewalk, complete with visual projections that tell the story of Dubai’s radical development. When you disembark the sidewalk, glimpse your first panorama as there is still considerable walk through the history of the tower, design inspiration, construction and world renowned events hosted at the tower, before you reach the elevators. Make your vertical ascent to Level 124 in a high-velocity elevator. As the elevator doors slide open, your eyes will be flooded with 360-degree panoramas of Dubai’s sprawling architectural tapestry. Through floor-to-ceiling glass walls, marvel at unprecedented vistas of iconic Dubai landmarks, pristine beaches and the barren desert. To enhance views, advanced telescopes are on hand. Don’t forget to browse the ‘At The Top’ gift shop for souvenirs to memorialize your experience of the world’s tallest building. Although 1.5 to 2-hours is recommend on Level 124, feel free to extend your stay and return to the lower ground floor at a time convenient to you.

Last summer, I visited the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. It was a wonderful experience! The building is very tall, contemporary and impressive. The view from the top was absolutely picturesque, with beautiful views of the city and the sea. However, there was a long queue to get to the top, which was a little annoying. The tickets were also quite expensive, but it was worth it! Before our visit, we made an itinerary to plan our day in Dubai. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed my visit. I would definitely recommend the Burj Khalifa to anyone visiting Dubai.
The Burj Khalifa is an incredible landmark and a must-visit attraction in Dubai. The building is even more impressive in person, with its stunning design and remarkable height. The observation decks offer breathtaking views of the city, especially around sunset. The surrounding area is clean, lively, and filled with great restaurants and attractions. Whether you're visiting for the views or simply admiring the architecture, it's an unforgettable experience.
This place is a 💩hole and a scam! I've been to more than 25 countries and like a seasoned tourist would do, I always book a timed entrance letter 1 month in advance. Since we booked a combo ticket (USD$87) with the aquarium, fast pass is not an option available (not to mention that the view excluding the queuing experience doesn't justify the price point) So, we arrived there 30 minutes in advance (around 4:20pm), but clearly it merely earns us the right to join the massive queue. Whoever runs this place cares more about relentless upselling and profits than actual customer experience. Almost ALL world-class attractions manage visitor flow by setting strict cap limits per time slot to ensure people can actually move and breathe, but Burj Khalifa clearly does the exact opposite. They pack thousands of people into every single timeslot with no regard for the actual capacity. This is a CLASSIC textbook case of corporate greed. I've had way better experience in Eiffel Tower, Top of the Rock, CN Tower, Tokyo Skytree or the Shard - all combined more iconic than Turd Scam-grief-a. Even Abu Dhabi's Observation Deck at 300 or Dubai's very own The View at The Palm are doing a better job than this. After suffering through a horrendous 40-minute queue just to clear the security checkpoint, a staff member turned to us with a reassuring smile and declared, "You're almost there!". WELL apparently that means an additional 80 minutes of standing in a sprawling, airless hallway gridlock. You’d assume a multi-billion-dollar ICONIC landmark in a freaking desert would have functional climate control. Think again!!!! The waiting area was brutally hot with little AC circulating. The air was so thick and stifling that multiple people around us were practically on the verge of fainting just trying to stay upright. Meanwhile, watching the fast-pass holders strut right past the endless sea of suffering was a whole other level of absurdity. While the VIPs got to breeze through the inferno, ascending the elevator to heaven; the rest of us peasants were left marinating in a collective soup of sweat, misery, and unexpressed tears. Is this what Dubai supposed to be? Did I somehow perish on the flight over, or did I voluntarily pay money to spend eternity trapped in this forever damnation? Other than the slow, suffocating torment, the whole ordeal felt like a genuinely insulting psychological warfare that messed with our heads. Plus, toilets were poorly maintained. There were no staff members present to manage the queue. Only Satan could craft a visceral experiment this evil. Long story short, we spent over 2 hours shuffling through endless lines just to get to the stupid elevator. By the time we actually reached the top (around 7pm), our souls were crushed, our feet were completely worn out, and whatever excitement we had for the "view" was completely gone - so imagine our surprise when we saw the observatory deck! The observatory deck does not provide panoramic views of Dubai like what we expected. It's quite small and crowded, and we definitely struggled to get hold of a spot to view out of. Let me tell you, the exterior windows were FILTHY and so caked in dust, and the glaring indoor lights reflected so badly off the glass. Taking a clean, somewhat DECENT photo was virtually impossible. Even the gift shop was underwhelming - they even sell one of those hideous Christian Dior book totes-knockoffs (seriously? what's up with this trend?). After we were told there's a queue for exit, we left right away (we were there for around 20 minutes only) since we didn't get to take any remotely interesting photos at all. Thankfully the queue wasn't building up and we only waited for 5 minutes this time. I guess my takeaway is: ALWAYS read the reviews before adding something to your itinerary, because this clearly isn't a recent problem. I guess I can now brag that I've been to the inside of the World's tallest building, but who cares??? It nearly spoiled my vacation and thanks to Bored Con-lifa, Dubai is now up there as one of the worst destinations that I've ever been. WHAT A SHAME! The positives: Fast elevators, Stunning architecture (exterior ONLY) The negatives: Pretty much everything
It was incredible. You can see the whole city. So there are no words to describe this masterpiece of engineering. One of the most beautiful buildings in the world. The prices are high but it is a unforgettable experience.
Booked a timed entrance ticket and still had to queue for over 1 hour 45 minutes - not acceptable!! Each room we queued in had the same 10 second clip playing over an over which became massively irritating. When we finally did get to the top, we didn’t manage to take great pictures, as the windows are very dirty. The ones on this review are the best from about 60 photos taken. I wouldn’t recommend this experience, it’s poor value for money and a poor experience - The Shard in London and Rockefeller in NY are much better in my opinion.
The experience was dreadful- I would have liked to change my reservation but was on hold on the phone for over 45minutes. I am held captive because i booked directly, got through in January to book a stay but did not receive a confirmation # nor a confirming email. SO I cannot change nor cancel online and no one answers the phone!! Beware of direct reservations!
Amazing Really good afternoon out, kids enjoyed it too. Views are unbelievable, first went up and it was cloudy but when the clouds cleared it was the best view ever!
A wonderful experience. The views are stunning. It is good to go at about 5.30pm or 6pm to see the sunset and lights coming on. Level 125 is quieter. You can easily stay for an hour or more.
Need I say more? Yes, I am one of those visitors whose heart got captured by the sheer and utter beauty, sophistication, elegance, modernity and technological prowess of Burj Khalifa or Khalifa Tower. Standing at a mighty height of almost 830 m. Since then, it has been the tallest structure in the world since 2009 even before its inauguration in 2010. With a cost of almost 1.5B USD construction startred in 2004 and in just 5 years it has taken over the skyline of not just Dubai but the world. Named after the former President of the UAE - Khalifa Al Nahyan, it was designed to be the centerpiece of Downtown Dubai, which includees hotels, residential complexes, skyscrapers and the other famous one which I reviewed already - Dubai Mall. It is a mixed-use tower designed by archiect Adrian Smith and owned by Emaar Properties, it is based from the shape of the Spider Lilies, a regional desert flower which symbolzes like the inverted letter Y and consists of different sections clubbed together. Made with concrete, steel and aluminum, it has a gross floor area of almost 310K m2. Consisting of 163 floors and as a mixed used tower only some floors are accessible to the public namely 148F which is the highest observatory, anoher one at 124F and 125F which is the main observation dekcs and the rest are corporate, residential and mechanical floors. The Armani hotels are located at the lower floors including access to Dubai Mall, Khalifa Lakes and the Dubai Founain. Since our hotel, Rove Downtown is just across Burj Khalifa we are almost here everyday during our 8 days stay and we can see it anytime of the day. We saw its glistening beauty during sunrise, its crystal clear brilliance during the day , its romantic elegance during sunset and its enduring allureness during the night. In fact, we could see it from the window of our hotel room, the moment we wake up and till walking towards Dubai Mall, take a dip in our hotel’s pool which has a direct view of it and finally before we sleep. Indeed, now thinking about it we have made the right decision of staying in Downtown Dubai area because everything is here especially if you’re a tourist and just want accessibility. We decided to save the best for last and book Burj Khalifa on the last day before we depart back to SG. My friends who have visited the place told us that it is pretty packed up there - no motter what time of the day, time of the year even during non-tourist season. Tip - book the ticket in advance because you could get a 20% discount if you hold Emirates tickets but until supplies last on that day and we missed it. We booked our tickets directly on site only for the 124/125 floors At the Tiop Observatory which cost 169 AED half the price of the highest one - 148F which costs 399 AED. With its ulta high speed double decker elevators cruising at 22 mph you will be in 124F in just 1 minute. First and foremost, we booked the 2:30 PM ticket because the other slots have been already booked. What I could say is that the entrance is unassuming and quite simple compared to Dubai Frame or the View at the Palm. Just present your ticket and there is a hallway with a gallery of the history of the tower development until you reach the lift where you would wait for your turn and the lift ride is also simple with just have a hologaphic Blue effect of the tower and some background music. After 1 minute you’re up there in the 125F on the enclosed Observatory with hundreds of people. We expected the crowd to be lesser given the fact that its not peak season in Dubai but its the opposite - its totally packed in the middle of pandemic. However, luckily trhe airconditioning is at par its still cool inside the enclosed space even though its fuming hot outside and there are tons of people. The first view that greeted us are the tall skyscrapers of Dubai surrounded by massive highways, traditional Old Dubai buildings and the Persian Gulf just on the horizon. It was a clear, sunny a bit tad hazy day so we could see clearly everything below us. I could remember the same view we saw at night in Sky Views Dubai just opposite Burj Khalifa near the entrance of Dubai Metro. Walking westwards we tried to find a space and slot in taking the most memorable shots without any photobombers. But given the crowd amongsts us it was a challenge but we managed it. Just need to find the right spot, timing and patience to have that shot or video without anyone intruding your space. As we walk counter clockwise, we saw the same scenes except some interruptions of the Dubai Creek and the massive lake below man-made Burj Lake where the Dubai fountain is held. Occassionally, you would see some Telescopes installed for fee just like any other observatories. We thought our visit is finished then we stumbled upon a stair that leads you to the 124th floor which is the open-air observatory and this seals the deal because all the visitors are here, packed like sardines. Since we paid a hefty price and were already here we decided to brave the crowds and the scorching heat outside. Surprisingly, because of the elevation it wasn’t that as hot as I expected and even the sunrays were not that intense. The only thing to hurdle around the open air observatory are the crowds of people. You literally need to wait for that perfect time where you could take you photos without any photo bombers. The view in the open air deck is the same as the indoor one except you get a brearthe of fresh air. The outdoor is also surrounded by thick glass panels and a metal railings on top high enough even for tall people. Despite the huge crowds we managed to take some nice and cherishing photos and videos here. I think we spent around half an hour here before going back up to 125F and again took some memorable shots which one of them is at the cornermost west side just across the souvenir shop where we could see a huge silhouette of Burj Khalifa against the sunlights. Tip: This corner has lesser people and has the view of both old and new Dubai up to the sea. Before calling it a day we found a lovely Black pouch bag on sale at the souvenir shop made of leather at a very affordable price of just less than 50 SGD (I could not remember the price but its very posh and elegant similar to a luxury brand). Going down is not as hectic and crowded as coming up and after more than an hour exploring, immersing and visiting the highest buiding in the world we felt a bit of relieved that we made it despite the crowd we managed to take some memorable and special photos and videos on both floors and still experienced what’s its like to see and feel Dubai at the top of Burj Khalifa, the world’s highest man-made building in the world!!!!
This is a must while visiting Dubai. We did not have to wait long to get through the lines to the elevators. Going up to the 125th floor took seconds. You don’t even feel it. The view is breathtaking.
I AM GOING TO DUBAI WITH MY FAMILY (4 PEOPLE IN TOTAL), WE WILL BE ARRIVING IN DUBAI ON MAY 13. I PURCHASED A PACKAGE OFFERED BY HEAD OUT TO VISIT BURJ KHALIFA AND DUBAI AQUARIUM. I SAW IT WAS VERY ATTRACTIVE AND I PURCHASED IT FOR MAY 15. TO MY SURPRISE, ONLY TWO DAYS AGO I RECEIVED AN EMAIL CONFIRMING THE ATTRACTIONS FOR MAY 01, HEAD OUT THOUGHT IT WAS BETTER WITHOUT CONSULTING ME TO CHANGE MY RESERVATION FOR THE 1ST OF MAY, KNOWING THAT WE WILL BE DEPARTING FROM MAIMI ON MAY 12. I CONTACTED THEM VIA TELEPHONE AND THE REPRESENTATIVE TOTALLY INCOMPETENT HAD TO CONSULT WITH THE MANAGER, AND TO ADD MORE TO THE SURPRISE I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THAY COULD DO , THAT I LOST MY MONEY, THAT MAY FIRST HAS ALREADY PASSED. SO, I CONTACTED MY CREDIT CARD , TO MY LUCK IS AN AMERICAN EXPRESS AND THE CHARGE WAS CANCELED AT THE MOMENT, AND ALSO TOGETHER WITH THE OTHER ATTARCTION THAT I RESERVED TO THE DUBAI DESERT MIAMI WITH THEM AS WELL. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU PURCHASE ANY SERVICE WITH HEAD OUT. THEY ARE DISHONEST AND THEY DO NOT APPRECIATE OR VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS. THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN MAKING MONEY.
Had the worst experience. A fellow tourist was drunk and misbehaved with my father who is a senior citizen and even proceeded to film us without consent. We informed security who although seemed sympathetic, didn’t remove the miscreant. We felt threatened and whole evening was ruined. I sincerely request the management to look into the manner and hopefully protect families in the future from such incidences.
Came here for a late morning visit and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Logistically, it’s easiest if you just park at the mall next door (Free) and can then walk in to the general food court where you begin the queue to go up to the top. THer is plenty of information provided around the construction and the engineering aspects that had to be considered for this to come to fruition. All quite fascinating.
The queue were quite long although staff said it was a quiet day so Id hate to see what a busy day was like! The staff were polite, we were pulled out of the queue at one point and taken up in the lifts used by redidents/ workers of the hotel to try and help with the queues but they can only take 8 people at a time so im not sure how effective this is. The windows on level 125 were dirty so images were a bit difficult to take. The price of the tickets bought on their official site were way to expensive for the experiance I really expected more, there was a lack of detail in the story telling of the design and building which we would have plenty of time to read in the queues!
Very underwhelming experience. Not much to see in terms of well known attractions/ sights. Not a very large viewing platform. Wouldn’t go again.
The sevice and enjoy ….and why should i tell about my experiecens about this …. its up to every guest to decide
I was there on 30 september, very difficult to buy ticket on site. So I bought it online. There were many people, I recommend it to visit there at evening time , city looks beautiful with lights, and Dubai fountain also looks better from the top.
We visited Burj Khalifa on Thursday 30th September, a party of four for Breakfast in Atmosphere. All Staff were very helpful and Friendly to make it such a special memory. However, a very special mention to Samir and the Barista ( Amir) I think. I had earlier declined the Gold Cappuccino, and they knew that it was a half hearted decline and brought one to the Table at the end of meal. It was more than special gesture and something I will always appreciate. Thank You.
Once in a lifetime experience. Totally worth to try. Blazing fast elevator and feeling that building is wobbling for first couple of minutes is something that can't be forgotten.
Soo amazing felt soo good, with the height, this must be the best thing I have done this year am really in love with heights
It's definitely worth doing however i do think it is a bit overrated. It is very expensive for what it is worth. The view is ok but it is difficult to get a good picture due to the sheer mass of people and the dirty windows (not that i expect these to be cleaned so high up) the photos are very expensive if you want a fun photo.
You must come and see 1 time in life Burji khalifa it's so amazing We are love view here there it 's so wonderful
Amazing view the must do. ok, it's expensive if you want to go to the 148th floor but think about the cost of this tower.... and nowhere in the world you'll find the equivalent....
Great experience, a must do if you visit dubai, if you go to dubai you can't miss it. The only bad thing is the amount of people.
At the top is a must do when in Dubai, the views are amazing. The walk to the top is impressive and educational about the building. Many different spots to enjoy Dubai and take some cool pictures.
This was literally our last activity in Dubai. We had a day out at the Atlantis water park and I quickly booked tickets up to the 124th/125th floor online for 22h00 on our ride back. Our tickets included coffee and croissants at The Cafe but again, I just kind of booked whatever. There was 1 person ahead of us at the entrance but as there was only 1 worker it took us 15 minutes to be waited on. No lines or anything for the lifts up so the late night slot had a couple advantages. Security was an issue with my cigarette lighter and my wife's detachable iPad keyboard but not the end of the world. The lift ride takes less than a minute and plays a movie on the walls and ceiling during the ascent. Neat experience. The viewing platform was nice enough. Good views over the city. Night views were nice though I suppose daytime might be a bit more impressive with distance and the desert. Not sure how much more the deck on the 148th would have been. No one seemed interested in upselling us tickets the higher deck and as it was late, they were more in closing mode than trying to get people to stay longer and pay more more. Admittedly, as we needed to leave at 0530 for the airport, I wasn't pushing to extend the visit either. Oh that coffee and croissants? Well we got them on the 125th floor restaurant. They were down to their last 4 sad croissants. The guy mentioned we were supposed to get them on the 1st floor restaurant but he was being nice. OK. Not as if there was any seating available to enjoy the coffee and croissants on the 124th/125th...and when we did pass the 1st floor restaurant, it was closed anyways (so we wouldn't have gotten part of the sold package if we hadn't gotten it when on the 125th anyways). I was born and raised in Chicago and am pretty well traveled. I have been up in numerous skyscrapers. Is this much different? Well no..but it's Dubai and Dubai does have an interesting skyline..and the Burj Khalifa is certainly a Dubai landmark just as much as the Eifel Tower is a Paris landmark. I would certainly recommend checking it out at least on your first visit to Dubai. Would I do it again? Maybe. It might be nice to check out the daytime views the next time around...but I wouldn't call a 2nd visit a must either.
Its worth it. Great views from the top. It is amazing to see how strong Dubai is becoming. New buildings being built close to Burj Khalifa and also far away. Amazing.
Enjoy the tallest building in the world and the highest observation deck while you can because the building of a skyscraper 50% higher than Burj Khalifa has started nearby. The way to the top is made educational with historical information and photographs of the building progress. The view at the top is also made educational with a few computerised binoculars with day, night and live views. However, the images used for day and night are very outdated with nearby skyscrapers that have been there for years still missing. As for the live view, a lot depends on the visibility, which in turn depends on the weather. The photography service is excellent (but too expensive), with great pictures made using green screen technology.
Very nice view from the top. Thanks to Mr. Ozair from Ramada hotels we open tickets from Rayna tours which were cheaper than those bought on the spot. Depending on the weather we could decide when to visit the top. The lines were short and the view was amazing. Very nice experience when traveling with the family.
The view is amazing, but that's to be expected. We booked tickets to see the sunset, but we didn't know it takes quite a while to actually get to the top, so we missed the sunset (despite us entering the line half an hour earlier than our ticket). The line was long and peopme with special tickets keep skipping the line, so we had to wait a couple of lifts. At the top it's crowded and thus difficult to get nice pictures. Staff is not really friendly, probably because of the chaos. Exit was a bit difficult to find and we saw multiple people get lost. Don't be fooled by the photos they take at the top. It's very expensive and a fake background. Would have been nicer if they had professional photos with the actual view as background. It's part of the experience of Dubai to go to the top and the views are great, but beware of the lines and time it takes to actually get to the top if you want to see a specific lighting of the sun.
Honestly, this is one of the iconic building that everyone MUST visit/experience here in Dubai. Like some people actually say, If you don't take a picture standing beside Burj Khalifa then you never fully experience the core of Dubai. our tour guide Ahmed was top, so friendly and polite.
I booked the experience online for my family which is much cheaper than doing it onsite. As I have been here before by myself, I knew what to expect, but I wanted to see the reactions of my family doing the experience. They loved the elevator ride and slowly walking around the tower and seeing all the views. Definitely worth going up at least once.
Please prohibit sitting on the windowsills! People were just sitting and blocking windows with their bodies.
From my amazing tour guide to the sweeping terrace views to the elevators themselves, I had no complaints taking this tour to the top of the Burj Khalifa (both the 124/125th floors AND the 148th floor for me). It was SPECTACULAR. I can’t recommend it enough. It was always on my bucket list, and being able to witness the sheer height and engineering passion put into the tower was something I never thought I’d achieve at age 20. This won’t be my last time here. I’m going to come back. Just some tips: - Evening hours tend to be cheaper when booking set times for the tour. The sunset and nighttime views are breathtaking, but I’d like to try paying a bit more to see how it looks in the daytime next time. - Tours are with a small, reasonable group of others—mostly families and couples. - Security checks are performed, but it doesn’t take long. The main thing is to ensure guests leave any cigarettes or lighters behind. - The elevators rise and descend SUPER fast, but for anyone frightened by heights or sensitive to motion, there isn’t too much to fear. It isn’t as though you can see the view as you rise or lower to/from the ground, because the lifts are completely enclosed. It’s also not like a ship or an airplane where you physically feel the sensation of climbing or rocking. Think of it the same as any other elevator ride (only a much cooler one!), and you should be fine. All in all, thank you for an experience I’m never going to forget! Check this out ASAP!
The Burj Khalifa is definitely a must do attraction in Dubai, since it's (right now) the tallest building in the world. The positive: The state of the art elevators were a delight, we didn't expect a lightshow on our way up and down, but they are just beautiful. The 360 degree view is spectacular in all directions on a clear day. There are two levels of inside/outside observation decks and visitors can stay as long as they like. Staff members at the observation decks and the elevators were very polite. The negative: When we just walked up to buy our tickets at the site, we were quoted a considerably higher price than what we saw advertised on line. When we asked about this, staff acted like we were crazy and said online tickets were not cheaper. Downride rude and false! In a country where we were impressed with the customer service at every venue we visited, this was definitely the hospitality low point. General admission "only" entitles you to visit the 124/125th floor. Going to higher floors costs a lot more. To know before you go: Buy your tickets ONLINE to save and book a specific time. During Covid we didn't experience any lines, but as tourism picks up again, the wait could be considerable. We walked straight through the queuing line and it was long. DO NOT buy the tickets at the venue. We ended up walking away from the counter, getting on our phones and buying the cheaper tickets while at the mall which made it really awkward. Access to the Burj for visitors is from the basement level of Dubai Mall, just follow the signs. Prices are higher around sunset. If you want to watch the fountains from above, there are shows at 1 and 1.30 during the day aswell, but I found it a bit underwhelming from that vantage point. Wait for a clear day to go! Masks are required. Everything was clean and the staff made every attempt to spread people out, we felt very safe.
It was very exciting to reach the 125th floor of the Burj Khalifa. I felt that I am at the top of the world. The rate that you will pay to reach the top is worth it and I know when I travel again to Dubai, I will surely try it again.
I enjoyed the cracking glass on the floor. The view from the top was spectacular. The prices for the gifts were a little too expensive.
The view is brethless also in the day, or in the night. The elevator is magic, in only one minute arrive at floor 124.
This was magical for me. First we climbed in 1 minute to the 124th floor. Felt a little dizzy. :) Then we looked around the whole city, taking pictures with wings on the 124th and 125th floor. They also have an animation where you walk on the glass that cracks under you, so you get scared when you think you are falling down from that height. I also bought my souvenirs there. That Dubai mall, that fountain and this view from the Khalifa, it was all worth 40Euro. Don't miss it!
Very quiet when I went (January 2021). This was the time of Covid but Dubai was not deserted, in fact the airport was extremely busy (and disorganised). Once you see this beast close up, you will want to go up! I walked around it on Day 1 of my visit and booked to go up it on Day 4. I probably waited about 15 minutes before taking the lift up. I was the only one in it and was witness a spectacular light show inside! I went at 10am, but the mist hadn't cleared so couldn't see as far as The Palm, just a vague outline in the distance. Other than that the views were just spectacular and giving a sense of 'this city is far from finished yet'. What on earth will it be like it 20 years time? In my view, it could be better done at the top. There is one sign saying 'North', it's been done on a computer and laminated. It looks very amateurish in comparison to say The Eiffel Tower which has North, South, East and West on fixed metal signage. This is important for those of us who want to take those N,S,E,W photos. It's a simple and inexpensive thing to rectify. All in all I stayed at the top for about an hour. At night time the whole area comes alive. The light show in tandem with the fountain show was spectacular. Seeing the Burj Khalifa lit up like a Christmas tree was something else!
Even tough the place is really beautiful and the staff is really nice. I had my camera stolen on the 125th floor. That really took away from the whole experienced. I filed a policed report, they had footage of the individual who stole but nothing got done. Be aware of your belongings while up there.
Magnificent view, must see it. I was really impressed. Very high, not for person with high fobia. Not much people queuing for the lift .
Booked this day tour through Rayna tours. As we rarely venture out these days, went ahead with our booking only after the agent assured us that all precautionary measures were in place and it was safe to take the tour. We opted for a late morning time, as suggested by them to avoid crowding. We parked at Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue parking, the closest to reach the entrance for the ‘At the Top’ tour. The place had manageable number of tourists and we were happy to note the extremely high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safe measures followed. All visitors were maintaining the required social distance and there was no over- crowding. It was safe for us all to relax and enjoy the tour of the place. After showing our tickets at the counter, we were led down a hallway to the elevators to reach the top floor. The passage gave an insight with pictures on the history and time line prior to the construction of this phenomenal structure. A pleasant hostess gave us a brief introduction prior to the tour and we rode the elevators to the top to enjoy an enchanting and spectacular 360 degree view of Dubai. We stopped at the 124th floor and took our own time to enjoy the view! There are ample opportunities for taking photographs, even professional ones (for an additional cost). A souvenir shop is also enclosed on this level offering loads of memorabilia to remember the visit. From the 124th floor, we climbed to the 125th floor for another splendid view. This place also had a souvenir section and café. Took us a little over an hour to complete and enjoy our visit to ‘At the top – Burj Khalifa’. Enjoyed the pleasant experience!
There is very little I can write, by way of giving information, that isn't already widely available across the internet, so I'll stick to personal advice and experience. The "At The Top" experience can be booked up to 28 days in advance and I'd strongly recommend doing that. It can avoid hours of queueing on the day. You can also add the option of a virtual reality experience and I'd also recommend that. The experience begins with a journey to the 125th floor in the fastest elevator I've ever been in, yet you have no real sensation of the speed when inside. It's only when you get there, and look down from the viewing platform, that you realise how far you have travelled in such a short space of time. There is a photographer offering the usual professional shots that you think you'll never buy, but they were so good that we did buy several of them. However, you can also capture many great shots with your own camera, so be sure to remember to take it with you. I'll attach several of my own to this review.
Overpriced, you don’t go up that high without paying 5 times more... and no strollers. The no stroller policy is just really limiting in a country that is otherwise very accommodating. Really wasn’t worth the trip
It is definitely worth seeing the place once in lifetime. The tallest building of the world. However tickets are over priced. Unless you are a interested in clicking pictures and seeing sunset, it might not amuse you much. Seeing it from outside is equally worthy.
This visit is a must. Burj Khalifa has long been the tallest building in the world. Seeing Dubai from the 125th floor of the Burj Khalifa is clearly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Going to Dubai without admiring the view from Burj Khalifa is like visiting Paris without going to the top of the Eiffel Tower. With the height, we admire even more the architecture of Dubai. There are some very nice photo points. I suggest you reserve your place online on the official website or Get Your Guide. The price depends on the time you go. Sunset time for example is very popular and therefore more expensive.
