We only went as we had free tickets from Emirates and actually quite enjoyed it. The sea life is amazing to watch with some incredible fish and sea creatures on show. It’s a shame to see them all confined to their tanks though. It wasn’t that big and we were around in less than 30 minutes. Don’t think I would pay to go and expected a lot more considering it’s Dubai and the Atlantis.

Reviews
Stunning aquarium the main tank is amazing. You can sit there for hours. The main tank is the most interesting bit but there’s a decent amount of stuff to see.
Beautiful fish, great atmosphere. One or two tanks that looked small for the fish but hard to tell if it was only one section of a bigger one that we could see.
This is a must stop. A worthwhile experience with no need to buy tickets beforehand, simply arrive there and buy your ticket from the very efficient staff. The aquarium is all what you expect: neat, clean and world class. A very pleasant experience
The dive experience at the aquarium is amazing. 64,000 species in the aquarium with you. 30 minute dive is around £220 for a qualified PADI diver. The dive team are excellent and take you through everything you’ll see and do. Would recommend. The only drawback is the photos they take when you dive aren’t included in the price, and cost nearly as much as the dive itself if you want the full set of photos. Otherwise it’s about £30 per photo.
Wow spectacular aquarium we chatted to David who took time to answer all our questions there was nothing he didn’t know and he was so happy to chat with us, Once again amazing staff Atlantis
I am an extremely fussy traveler and my reviews are always brutally honest with what you really need to know What we booked: - standard entry tickets - with no diving or experiences Considering we already went to the Dubai aquarium…..this was very well presented and beautifully themed. The main viewing areas were literally spectacular full of marine life. It’s small and only a quick visit 30-45 mins but it was absolutely worth the small entrance fee. We loved every minute .
this place was well conceived, the trip was worth. we had a fun time. the way they set up the exibition is fantastic. i would visit again, for sure.
Very small aquarium took us 20 minutes to see it all, some interesting things but not worth the money. Wouldn’t go back and don’t recommend it.
Very small… I’m not sure this could be the “largest in the middle-east”. The entry price is too high considering it takes around 20 minutes to get around. We also wanted to possibly go have lunch come back and walk around again (since it was so short) but was told we couldn’t do that as it was a “one time entry”. The Dubai Mall aquarium seems bigger in my opinion even from the outside.. but we had used our budget on this aquarium instead.
Although the large aquarium tank was really good - that was it - not enough for the money that was paid to get in
The fish were fantastic, the main tank was amazing. The reasons for my 3 stars are: The aquarium itself is quite small and doesn’t take long to get round, you can see it all in half an hour and that’s taking your time. Also price, we luckily went online and got a good deal but if you went on the day and paid then and there prices were very high. And when you’re walking around staff with cameras offer to take your picture you can view these at the end and obviously if you like them you can buy them, we chose to buy one printed and get a couple of others we liked digitally. Now we should have asked the price before as there were no signs anywhere but when they said the price of 510AED for one print and a couple of digital copies I nearly fell over, obviously you don’t expect it to be 20AED but it was so overpriced. The quality of the photo is awful too it’s been blown up so much it’s blurry, looks like a photo took 30 years ago. Shockingly overpriced! Tarnished the experience.
Lost and chambers aquarium was amazing to visit .. i was so enjoyed to see many fishes and different fishes there. Plus i want to thank the staff Mr. AHMED that will assit to us and explain clearly about all fsihes there ., to be honest i dont have any idea about fish but when he started to explain all about the life and the name of the fish there we are so amaze he knows everything.. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻big clap for you sir Mr. Ahmed you really did a great job . And the guest will go out to lost and chambers with a lot of learn and smile Wer not feel bored and we enjoyed our tour in lost and chambers. Keep it up to you Mr. AHMED and to all your team ! And i recommend this place to my collegues.. and for sure i will comeback in lost and chambers again !
Fantastic aquarium, very well thought through and put together. Impressive! Leads you straight to the sunken city of Atlantis.
If it was a free add on to the waterpark then fine, but as an extra that costs, just not enough there. We got round in under 20 mins, not really a lot to see. What we did see was cool, but all in all thought there would be more to see.
We have this attraction included with our big bus dubai essential ticket, this experience is worth it.
We got the monorail to Atlantis and decided to come here for a visit. We used our Emirates boarding passes (& passports) for a huge discount on the prices. It was very expensive and I don’t think it was worth the full price but with a discount it was ok. The layout and design of the aquarium is fantastic and the variety of fish was outstanding. It only took us about an hour if that to get around but all of us enjoyed it.
We visited the aquarium and glad we did, as it’s much better than the one in the Dubai Mall, and almost half the price. It is a bit of trek to get to it if you aren’t staying on the palm, but it’s worth the visit and there is plenty to do and see.
Such a great aquarium with its magical Atlantis theme all-around. I can never get enough of that huge central platform where you can see many types of fishes in one place. It’s beautiful. It is on the expensive side some might think. But compared to the other Dubai aquarium, this is amazing.
The service provider for the tickets was great, but the aquarium itself was a disappointment. It is not the place where you walk through the glass tunnel, as some websites may indicate. There is also an exhibit with three massive potato bass in a tiny tank. It was heart breaking to see! Another with 20 massive eels in a relatively small tank. Money was spared when considering the quality of life for these magnificent creatures. Dubai could do better!
Initially I was really excited about going to this aquarium. However, I was extremely disappointed with it. I was expe ting more tanks and the Ambassadors lagoon was average compared with the Dubai aquarium in the mall, which is much bigger. I have now been to both aquariums and I must say the Dubai Mall aquarium is far better. The decor in Atlantis is very impressive and the tank features are good too. Unfortunately the QR code for scanning the fish did not work effectively and kept showing message that fish cannot be found, even with super clear pictures of the fish.
Smallest aquarium ever. Over 3 hours stated on the adverts everywhere is a huge exaggeration. Every other aquarium we've been to have made a more lasting impression. Overall spend your money elsewhere.
rediculously over priced for an activity that barely lasted half an hour. ancient Atlantis technology was an interesting touch though.
It can only be defined as a scam! Dubai is expensive, which is known by most, but a family of 4 adults, well with children over 7 (yes over 7 means you are an adult at Atlantis!) will set you back in the region of 460 AED. Using an Emirates boarding pass will reduce by 40% but still not worth it. It’s not worth paying for period. You also need your passport for the discount not just boarding pass; assume (but can not confirm) this so they can scan your personal details and sell the data. The aquarium is well designed and the marine life appears to be well looked after, staff are super friendly. It’s simply not worth the price, it’s a side show for guests of the hotel only. Not worth paying for. In summary save your money, if you to go the Dubai Mall you can see more sea life at its aquarium without paying, as a large part of it can be seen simply walking around the mall. If you are British then go to one of sea life centres where you will see a lot more different species of marine life. TBH go to your local pet store and see more variety!
Spent a fun few hours at this aquarium. The variety of species on display is amazing. I also booked the fish tails tour, of which I was the only participant. The guide was very friendly and explained the different species of fish in each aquarium. He was very passionate about his work and so knowledgeable. I also got to go behind the scenes and visit the fish hospital. It was so very interesting to learn about all the work that they do in conserving different species of fish. They also grow their own coral!. I was also shown how they prepare the food each day for the different fish. The guide also went out of his way to shown me the top area of the large aquarium. It was great to see it from the two different perspectives! I would recommend the fish tails tour to people if they would like to get a bit more insight to the workings of the aquarium. A big thank you to lost chambers aquarium.
What a nice way to spend an hour or so touring through a unique space. The fish and ocean life are beautifully displayed and the overall feel is true to it's themed title. Great place.
Impressive aquarium… the children loved it. However, the place isn‘t exactly covid compliant as there are lots of people on a narrow space. That would be ok if the people would be wearing their masks!! Unlike almost everywhere else we were in Dubai for some reason inside the aquarium but also outside in the mall lots of people were walking with their masks under their chins and noses and some took them off completely. There are plenty of guards - please tell them to enforce mask mandates.
My trip to The Lost Chambers was not just an ordinary visit to an aquarium. Although a truly fascinating aquarium/resort I was there for a life changing moment. I chose to propose to my girlfriend in Dubai and upon researching many of the amazing places out there, The Lost Chambers spoke to me in so many ways that I simply could not resist. I have to start by saying the entire staff at The Lost Chambers are out right fascinating. From Maria to Benjamin and Mary who all showed extreme professionalism and made sure that this moment was truly a memorable one. I live in New York but they made it feel as if I was there with them every step of the way. I can honestly say this will forever be a moment I will look back on with instant Joy. Lets just say the team at the Lost Chambers made me feel at home and I am already counting down the days until we are back in Dubai.
Thanks to instructor Padraig for the amazing work and for being so kind and helpful. Also Sophiya & Kavindu for the recommendation. Highly recommended and I will be back again very soon! all very kind and professional. 10/10.
During the Covid 19 pandemic the hotel thought it was a good idea to force visitors to park far away and use a shuttle bus with no social distancing or sanitizer, luckily we are carrying some. Lost chambers must be the smallest aquarium in the world - literally we entered and within 10 minutes it was over. There were a maximum of 10 windows. Even with the resident discount I would say this is the worst valued aquarium. Even the kids asked how much it cost and said it was a waste of money. We were planning to do a staycation at Atlantis but some how the hotel never fails to disappoint!!
Loved the setting as the lost chamber of Atlantis. Great cauldron in one setting with sharks and stingrays etc all swimming freely. Saw a show with scuba divers that kids would enjoy. Entry was included with our Big Bus tour which was great and it didn't take too long if you're on a timetable, which we were. Only an hour is needed at the most.
My mom was super excited to see this, and I assumed it would be nice having been to the water park. It was nice but not worth the price. Takes you 15 mins to see the whole thing if you walk slow and sit down for 5 mins. We were expecting to be there for hours considering the price. Definitely should be priced lower considering it’s so small compared to most aquariums in the world. The set up with the lights and fish was amazing but just way too small.
This aquarium is worth visiting as the main large tank is beautiful with so many species but overall i was slightly underwhelmed and expected more for our money particularly with the hype of Atlantis being such an amazing place. Wish we'd also visited the Dubai aquarium but was hesitant as didnt want to be disappointed. On a par with London Aquarium it wasn't as good. Having said that, its still something to do, the mall and restaurants are an experience but be prepared to spend a lot of money whatever you do, for example £8 for a half litre bottle of water in the restaurant we tried....
The price is too high. It took us 15 minutes to go around. The Aquarium should be included in the ticket price for the aquapark.
Although aquariums do not attract my attention, I must say that this one surprised me, I clarify that it is the aquarium that is in the famous palm tree at the end of its route where the Atlantis hotel is and not the Dubai Aquarium that is in the Dubai Mall. This It has 65,000 species of fish and can be seen through enormous glass, it is worth visiting.
