Itinerary
After pickup from your central Dubai hotel, settle into your air-conditioned car. Then, sit back and absorb the desert views as you head to Al Ain. Dubbed the Garden City for its green parks, this attractive city is fringed by the Hajar Mountains near the Oman border.
On arrival the first visit is to Qasr Al Muwaiji, birthplace of HH late Sheikh Khalifa, former UAE President. Visit the award-winning Al Jahili Fort next to view a permanent exhibition dedicated to the intrepid British explorer Sir Wilfred Thesiger, who crossed Rub al-Khali, The Empty Quarter twice in the 1940s.
Next, stretch your legs around Al Ain oasis to see the simple-but-ingenious falaj channels. Snaking overground between the palms, take a closer look at the channels and learn they have been used to irrigate local plantations for thousands for years.
Before stopping at the region’s largest camel market stop for a delicious lunch at a 4 star hotel Later a final stop is made at the foot of Jebel Hafeet Mountain for a closer look at the popular hot springs before a pleasant drive back.

Anees, our tour guide, was the best! He made this day trip an exceptional experience. He was kind, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable. We learned so much from him about history, culture, etc. When we booked, we did not know this was a private tour, which was a nice bonus. We enjoyed all of your stops and had a nice lunch. We would highly recommend especially with Anees as your guide
Great experience, was a positively impressed by Al Ain beauty and its history. Thanks to our kind guide Anees for the trip.
Dear Faisal, your insights and stories about Dubai were truly informative and it was a great pleasure to learn from you.Your easy going and patience made my Dubai City Tour a real pleasure and i truly apreciated the few hours you spent with us.
Nimesh gave us an amazing personalized tour. I love to take pictures and ask questions and he was very accommodating. Tamim was a very competent driver. Thanks guys. Great day trip.
Our pick up from the hotel was hassle free and on time. The tour covered a range of venues which gave us an insight into the UAE's history and allowed us to experience so many things in a short duration. Our tour guide was very informative and answered all of our questions. Lunch was above our expectations and thoroughly enjoyable. The highlight of the tour for us was being able to see the palace.
Our pick up from the hotel was punctual. Chamil, our guide, was very friendly & very knowledgeable and easily translated during the ride to Al Ain between English & German. He spoke both languages fluently. The tour itself was very interesting with all the stops that are mentioned in the description of the tour. My favorite was stopping at the oasis and seeing the guy climbing up the palm trees) I wish they would do a stop at that old market in Al Ain, which would be even more interesting. I can highly recommend this tour (especially for the price you pay) to get a good look at Al Ain and surroundings.

Excellent tour-pick up from hotel on time guide was informative

Great pick up service. The drive through the desert to Al Ain was fascinating with interesting commentary from the tour guide throughout the drive. Visiting the mountains bordering Oman to see the oasis was breathtaking, date farm was interesting with ability to buy great dates.
Overall a great tour with only a few minor issues. Maybe too many sites to visit in one day making it a very long day, people attending the tour should be considerate of others and return to the bus at expected time rather than make people wait
The camel market could be missed as its expensive not an extra cost and yields little

A good tour with a knowledgeable guide and well organized itinerary.

Very nice trip in comfortable air conditioned bus. Visited everything except the actual archialogical site that was described in the information.

I enjoyed this trip but disappointed that we did not go up the mountain. We only stopped shortly by the hot spring within the park on the bottom of the mountain. I got this mainly because I thought we would go up the mountain.

Besides that I enjoyed the tour.

Very interesting and exotic trip in Al Ain with many well organized tours . The guide was very knowledgeable and efficient. Thank you to him and his team. A beautiful day and a lot of memories.

This was a very good tour that got us outside Dubai. We had a most enjoyable time seeing a garden city in the desert. The visit to the camel market and seeing racing camels was most enjoyable as was the visit to the mountain hot springs. A good lunch too. One complaint. We had to be transferred some distance to meet up with the main bus and needed to pick up other travellers on the way. The problem is that there was restricted room in the back of the transfer vehicle - very uncomfortable for someone like me withy two titanium knees. .. !!! Other than this, a good day out to a more traditional desert town...

It was an eventful trip overall. It was a little long drive but to get to see the country side was a welcome change. Our guide Yana was very knowledgable.

Nice cultural experience. Learned lots and was in the middle of the dessert and got to see what an oasis looks like.

Was interesting. Your guide had good information and offered to stop for a few minutes at the camel race track. Enjoyed the museums, date palm farm and mountain sights

Good trip. Stopped at several places. Did not spend much time at any of the stops, but that was ok. Guide was ok, she was new and tried hard. Worth the money to see a different part of the UAE.

Guide knowledge limited and sometimes making up stories to fill up the gaps but the tour itself is well organized

Tour started off well with visit to forts and museum. Felt a bit rushed and would have liked more time at the Museum

Excellent !!! The guide and driver were most knowledgeable and willing to help in any way. Every phase of this trip was perfedt

Al Ain is just beautiful. I really enjoyed the tour.

The Al Ain tour started off with full sun above the sky. Owe tour guide was very informed, it was like he was a human wikipedia. The city is Known as the Garden City. \We went to the Al Ain Museum was very interesting, this is one of the most important museums in the UAE. Then we went to a traditional falaj irrigation system were fresh spring water is found. Great Tour.

Really enjoyed this trip. The journey is quite long across rather uninspiring flat desert, but it is well worth it when you get to Al Ain, which is a really interesting city.
If you've seen Abu Dhabi and have a spare day, you could do worse than take this trip. It's not one of the first things I have advised friends to do.
The tour was worthwhile. We probably would have liked a bit more detail on the archeological site and a little more time at the museum.
A thoroughly worthwhile and informative day. Excellent tour guide.
Nothing interesting, except for the original Sheikh's palace and the camel market. Archeological sites are very small and lacking information. Oasis - disappointing. Lunch break could be taken in a traditional Arabic restaurant, instead of the mall food court.
If you're ready to get away from all the activity in Dubai, go where the locals go for a getaway. Al Ain is a calm, laid-back oasis city with lots of history. Include a drive into the mountains for panoramic views. Not an adrenaline-charged tour, but informative and interesting, gives you a different look at the region. Not a crowded private car tour.
Very nice trip. Anees is a very pleasant and educated tour guide. The day was absolutely successful with lunch included.
It was a very nice day in Al Ain. Our guide Anees drove us well and informed us very well. It was great to get to know another side of the Emirates and time and again there was interesting information about the culture and history of the Arab countries and people. Thanks again for the great experience!
An unforgettable experience. Thanks to Nimesh and his incredibly good knowledge of German, we learned so much about the country and people, especially about the history around Al Ain. Nimesh's knowledge and kindness impressed us very much. Our driver also made sure that we got everywhere safely and quickly. Thanks to both and Orient Tours! We can only recommend such a tour.
Al Ain is a wonderful city, in the heart of the desert, which should be seen calmly in two or three days at least. If you can't, at least take a day trip from Dubai. Admire the beautiful malls, the camel market, the mosque they are building, the forts and much more.

Mila and Frosty
