Itinerary
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. The largest mosque in the country, it is the key place of worship for daily prayers, Friday gathering and Eid prayers. During Eid, it may be visited by more than 41,000 people
The building was designed by British architect [John Elliott (WATG architects)]in collaboration with Reza Rahmanian (HDC Architects). The design of the hotel is a playful mix of cherished Islamic architectural elements such as balance, geometry, proportions, rhythm and hierarchical emphasis to create a unified whole. The inspired grand dome with elaborate geometrical patterns dominates over 114 smaller domes spread over the building. The colour of the building aims to reflect different shades of sands found in the Arabian Desert. Construction started in December 2001, the interior fit-out works were delivered by Depa Interiors, Abu Dhabi with the hotel opening its gates in February 2005. The construction costs were around 3 billion USD (11.02 billion AED) making it the third most expensive hotel ever built. It is only surpassed by The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in Las Vegas (3.9 billion USD) and the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore (5.5 billion USD)
The towers are located opposite the Emirates Palace hotel and feature offices, apartments and a hotel. The estimated cost for the construction was 2.5 billion Dirhams. Towers 2 and 5 topped out in November 2010. A year later, in November 2011, the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers Hotel which belongs to Jumeirah Group was opened in Tower 1. Tori No Su Japanese restaurant opened within the hotel in 2012. The hotel has been rebranded to Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers which opened doors in Tower 1 on Oct 1, 2020. The adjacent Tower 2 is (as of December 2012) the tallest building on Abu Dhabi island and the second tallest in Abu Dhabi after Sky Tower on Al Reem Island. Tower 2 has an observation deck on the 75th floor which is accessible from the hotel via a lower level linking podium. The towers were used as a filming location for the 2015 film Furious 7. In the film, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) steal a Lykan HyperSport and drive it through three of the towers.

Highly recommend them to make your trip more memorable and fun.
We had just visited UAE in December, 2024. Part of our tour was booked with Efficient tourism for Airport pickup and drop, full day city tour in abudhabi and Dubai, local conveyance in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. It was nice experience with them, Good quality cars with hindi speaking driver.
Our driver, Mr. Princ, was extremely kind, friendly and always did his best to satisfy all our demands. We felt very safe. The VAN was clean and confortable and we couldn't wish for a better service. On the top of that, we asked drop off us to another location and no problem. Go for it !!!!!!
Ultimately, you are likely going to Abi Dhabi to visit/see the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, and for that, this was an economic way to accomplish that. Aside from the Mosque (no tour guide of that is included for that bit), there was a cool pitstop on the way that had an impressive Mad Max theme going on. The rest of the itinerary however was; - the usual sales stop at an ahem 'museum' (psst it is a store :) ) every tour company will stop at these places unfortunately so it is what it is. - A drive by with pointing and educating while driving van. Not ideal, especially if you are on wrong side of van - A couple very quick pull over and take a pic type stops. Sadly the photo spots were pretty far away, so not ideal. All this said, our driver Ahmed was fluent in English, easy to understand, friendly, knowledgeable, and was great to have as our driver. For the money, it was decent. I'd have preferred to skip the 'museum', and would have preferred a few more pull overs vs drive bys, and to skip the Ferrari stop (kind of pointless as you do not go in and there are no cars) but it was still good.
Nice and comfortable tour of Abu Dhabi city. The driver Mr Ahmed was professional and guided us well. Pick up and drop was arranged from our house in Dubai. The vehicle was clean. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to explore Abu Dhabi from Dubai.

This monument is amazingly build and so beautiful. Thanks to our tour guide Zainab who gave us the complimentary in-house tour of the mosque where she explained the vision of late king who build this mosque.. information about all the materials used to build this mosque etc. i would highly recommend to take this half an hour tour if you are visiting this mosque. Thank you Zainab for your time and service.
It was good but we were expecting more, unfortunately some points in the tour were not covered. But at list we went to the mosque. 7/10 The guide was excellent, very nice 10/10

With our limited timing. we experienced a great tour to Abu Dhabi. We were very much thankful to our driver cum tour guide Mr Asheef who helped us lot to make our trip memorable.
Tour assolutamente da consigliare. Ottima la guida, puntualissimo e professionale l'autista del transfer dall'albergo al bus.Evitare il transfer al ritorno con molte coppie perche' dura troppo tempo.Prezzo giusto.
