4/5 ⭐️ I recently stayed at Sunday Hotel in Al Barsha for a couple of nights and overall I think it is worth the price. The hotel is not new and I agree with some of the other reviews that it is probably time for a revamp. Maybe the owners can consider renovating it floor by floor. You can still see that this was once one of the top hotels in its time. That said the rooms are very spacious and the hotel is clean and comfortable. The location is also very good and close to Mall of the Emirates. The staff were very helpful and friendly during my stay. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel with big rooms and a good location near Mall of the Emirates then I would say this is a good option. It may be time for a revamp but for the money I would stay here again.
I would like to thank Oshini, Tizita and Ayoub for the great help and hospitality they were very welcoming and always smiling and fast in replying to our request. I enjoyed my 2 weeks stay and will definitely come back again. Thank you so much
Extremely bad and disappointing experience at Sunday Hotel Al Barsha Dubai Mall of the Emirates— and honestly shocking to see how a hotel operating in the hospitality industry can treat paying tenants this way. One of the biggest issues here is their completely unreasonable parking situation. As paying tenants, guests naturally expect parking convenience as part of basic hospitality. Instead, this hotel appears to have prioritized turning its premises into a private parking business, something even confirmed by their own reception staff, while simultaneously expecting hotel guests to pay extra charges for parking. A hotel of this size with so many rooms, there are only around 15 parking slots in B1 allocated for guests. This is completely inadequate and frankly unacceptable. Hotels charging customers for accommodation and then creating additional inconvenience by monetizing parking at the same location is extremely poor management practice especially with general manager Vibin is very rude I kindly requested the security guy for a temporary exception — simply allowing but he can, t help me to park there for a short period. A complete lack of flexibility, empathy, and basic human consideration. The front desk staff nice but scared from GM Vibin which i believe he don't have the skills to deal with the people no skills of communication This hotel seems more focused on earning money from parking operations than taking care of its own tenants. Hospitality here feels secondary. Customer comfort clearly is not a priority. They are seriously needs to rethink whether they are running a hotel or a parking revenue business. Highly dissatisfied, highly disappointed, and definitely not the standard of service anyone should expect when paying to stay here highly not recommended to stay in this hotel Also not clean enough for my review 1 out of 5 if not less
Extremely disappointing experience at Sunday Hotel Al Barsha Dubai Mall of the Emirates— and honestly shocking to see how a hotel operating in the hospitality industry can treat paying tenants this way. I checked in on 02/07/2026 and stayed in Room #222. For a hotel of this size with so many rooms, there are only around 10 parking slots in B1 allocated for guests. This is completely inadequate and frankly unacceptable. Hotels charging customers for accommodation and then creating additional inconvenience by monetizing parking at the same location is extremely poor management practice. What made this experience worse was what happened around 12 noon in extreme Dubai summer heat. Guest parking was full, there was absolutely no parking nearby, and one handicapped parking slot was vacant. I politely requested management for a temporary exception — simply allowing me to park there for a short period with the assurance that if a disabled guest arrived, they already had my room number and could immediately call me so I could move the vehicle instantly. The response? A complete lack of flexibility, empathy, and basic human consideration. It is ironic that authorities like Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and even Dubai Police sometimes exercise reasonable discretion in exceptional situations, yet a business claiming to operate in the hospitality sector refused to show even the smallest amount of understanding toward a paying guest standing in extreme weather conditions. This hotel seems more focused on earning money from parking operations than taking care of its own tenants. Hospitality here feels secondary. Customer comfort clearly is not a priority. Management seriously needs to rethink whether they are running a hotel or a parking revenue business. Highly dissatisfied, highly disappointed, and definitely not the standard of service anyone should expect when paying to stay here. I even planned to have a long stay and requested number to ask details. Luckily i knew it now itself as I am not in a position to come and please all the staffs daily. Guys think twice before booking with this hotel. They are not like previous management now this management has asked all the staffs to charge from tenants as much as possible
