Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort

We stayed at this hotel for four nights for my husband’s birthday. The strength of this property is its staff and the service they provide. Everybody is very kind, polite and considerate. Almost everyone we met who had access to our profile said happy birthday to my husband and was very accommodating with my toddler. A few people to mention are Haji in club lounge, Abidi ( I hope I got his name right) in East, Sam at valet/bell and a gentleman who I did not get his name at the buggies who dropped and picked us up million times because we couldn’t sit in one place haha. The kids club was also one of the best we’ve been to, I really loved the Little Prince theme, it took me back to my childhood. The maintenance at the property however needs some improvement. We booked a suite with pool and it got dirty the second day and no one was cleaning it so it was a bit useless to pay so much money to book that room as we couldn’t use it. Also the backyard door’s lock was broken and we couldn’t lock it. A few housekeeping issues were there as well but all that happens with any hotel so they just need to get on them and fix them, otherwise it was a great stay. The buffets were great, I really appreciate having kids section in both club lounge and the East buffet. Never seen a club lounge anywhere offering that and it was such a relief that I didn’t need to think of food for my son. Overall very good hotel for families with kids and couples and even solo travellers. Well done and hopefully we will see you soon.

The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, making us feel at home throughout our stay. The private beach was beautiful, with clean, soft sand and crystal-clear water, making it perfect for relaxing and for the kids to enjoy safely. The breakfast was another highlight—an excellent selection of fresh and delicious food with something for everyone in the family. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily recommend Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing family getaway. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Stay at Sofitel RAKWe had a delightful experience at Sofitel Ras Al Khaimah this week. From the moment we arrived, Mr. Muharram at reception warmly welcomed us and kindly offered a three-hour late check-out, which made our stay even more enjoyable. His professional guidance added a special touch to our visit. The entire staff impressed us with their politeness and helpfulness, whether at the restaurant, with the buggy riders, or the kids play area team. Special thanks to Mr. Ateeq (Buggy rider). Everyone was truly dedicated and attentive.The pools were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The kids' pool was thoughtfully shaded and had a safe depth of just 0.45 meters, perfect for little ones. During the buffet dinner, we appreciated the complimentary Arabic sweet, Umm Ali, and fries for our children, which was a nice gesture.The only area for improvement was the hot water in the washroom, which had an unusual yellow tint and could be cleaner. Overall, Sofitel RAK provided a warm, family-friendly environment with attentive service and excellent facilities. We highly recommend it for a relaxing and pleasant stay.

We had a fantastic 7 day stay at this beautiful hotel (7 to 14 July). The hotel is very cosy, clean and welcoming, with beautiful swimming pools. The beach was beautiful, with crystal-clear turquoise water, just as stunning as the water in the Maldives or Caribbean’s. There were always plenty of sun loungers available. Our check-in was very quick and smooth, thank you, Maharram! Also a big thank you for the birthday cake. It was absolutely delicious! The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes from different cuisines. We always had a lovely table and received wonderful assistance from Navin, Thin and Aya. We also tried the Reunion and Waka restaurants, and the food was really delicious. I especially enjoyed the ceviche and the Hugo Virgin cocktail prepared by Devang. Many thanks to Swami for his positive energy and helpfulness, and a very special thank you to Suresh for taking such good care of us throughout our stay. We had an issue with the lighting in our room, so I would also like to thank Catrina Khaliavka and Elmera for helping us resolve it and for their special attention. We also absolutely loved that there are cats at the hotel, and we even became friends with one of them! If you don’t like cats don’t worry, they do not approach you unless you have interest. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so memorable. We would be very happy to return!
