I had a very unpleasant experience at Landmark Premier Hotel. I travelled from Abu Dhabi with my friend after attending my friend’s wedding, and the hotel had already been booked for us. Unfortunately, my Emirates ID had expired, and when we tried to explain our situation and find a solution, the manager spoke to us in a very rude and disrespectful manner. I understand that hotels have rules and requirements, but there is absolutely no need to treat customers rudely when they are simply trying to explain their situation. The way the manager communicated with us was extremely disappointing and made an already stressful situation even worse. What upset me most was the lack of courtesy, understanding, and professionalism. Even if the hotel could not accept our documents because my friend and I have different nationalities, the situation could have been handled politely and respectfully. Being a manager means knowing how to communicate with people professionally, even when you cannot accommodate their requests. Customers deserve respect, not a rude attitude. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and trains its staff to treat guests with basic courtesy and respect. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who expects professional and respectful customer service.

A Very Disappointing Hotel Experience This is honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. It is already 12:40 AM, and I am still awake because I am so upset and disappointed with how everything has been handled since we arrived. We arrived at around 7:45 PM with our friends in two separate cars. Only our family of four, including our two young children, was checking in. We were all attending a party at the hotel, so naturally, our friends came with us. I believe that even if they were not staying overnight, they were still legitimate visitors attending an event at the same hotel. During check-in, we informed the reception that our friends would be coming up to our room briefly to change before the party. We were allowed to do so, and there was no issue at that time. However, the moment we entered the hotel, we were already disappointed. The lobby had an unpleasant smell, and despite booking a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor, the smell inside the room was even worse. It smelled musty and damp, as if the room had been closed up for a long time. The room was also cramped and far from comfortable or relaxing. We decided not to make an issue out of it because our main purpose was simply to have a place for our children to rest after the party, rather than drive all the way back to Ajman late at night. At around 9:30 PM, we returned to our room because our toddler was already sleepy. Three of our friends were with us at the time. Two went downstairs to buy snacks, while one came up to the room with us. Since our friends live in Dubai and we live in Ajman, we thought we could spend a little time catching up before they headed home. They were not going to stay overnight, and we had no intention of exceeding the room’s occupancy limit. A few minutes later, I received a call from reception asking, “How many people are in the room now?” I explained that there were only two of us at that moment and that my husband and our friends were downstairs and would be coming up shortly. The receptionist then told me that visitors were not allowed. I explained that our friends would only be visiting briefly, for an hour or less, and that they would be leaving afterward. They had come with us earlier to change for the party, and we simply wanted to spend a little time together before they went home. However, I was told that even a visit of less than an hour was not permitted. Honestly, this was extremely frustrating and upsetting. If visitors were strictly prohibited, why wasn’t this clearly explained to us during check-in, especially when we had already informed the reception about our friends? We could have made other arrangements if we had known the policy beforehand. I understand that hotels have rules and security policies, but the way these situations are communicated makes a huge difference in the guest experience. We were not asking for anything unreasonable. Our friends were not staying overnight or using the room as additional accommodation. We simply wanted to spend a little time together. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that we chose this hotel purely for convenience because the party was being held there. We regularly stay in hotels, including five-star properties, and have never felt this unwelcome during a stay. We had already overlooked the unpleasant smell and uncomfortable room because we only needed a place to rest for the night. But after the way this situation was handled, the entire experience became even more disappointing. A hotel stay should provide comfort, convenience, and a welcoming experience, especially for families with young children. Instead, we have spent our night feeling frustrated and unwelcome. I am sharing this because I genuinely hope management takes this feedback seriously. Guests deserve clear communication about hotel policies, comfortable and hygienic rooms, and respectful customer service. Unfortunately, this stay has left a very bad impression, and it is certainly not the experience we expected when we chose your hotel.
I had a wonderful 2-night stay at Landmark Premier Hotel on Rigga Road. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a very peaceful atmosphere, which made my stay relaxing. Considering there are so many hotels in this area, I can confidently say this is one of the better choices. The room was well maintained, and the overall service was excellent. The pricing is also very reasonable, making it great value for money. A special thanks to Abin at the front desk for the outstanding hospitality. A was professional, friendly, and always ready to help, making the check-in and overall experience smooth and pleasant. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service. I would also like to thank Richard and shabir for their support and courteous service during my stay. Their kindness and professionalism added to the positive experience. Overall, I highly recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet, and affordable stay on Rigga Road. I would be happy to stay here again.
This is honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel is completely misleading compared to the photos online. What is shown is not what you actually get. The room was in very poor condition, bad smell, and uncomfortable. There was no swimming pool or gym as expected, despite what was implied. Basic facilities were missing or not working properly, including very weak Wi-Fi and poor overall maintenance without even a toothbrush provided. The service was extremely disappointing. The reception staff, especially Harpeet, was rude, arrogant, and unhelpful, showing no professionalism or basic courtesy. Overall, this hotel does not deserve its rating at all. It should not even be considered a 2-star property—honestly, it feels like it deserves no star at all. I strongly advise others not to waste their money or time here.
My experience at this hotel can be best described as comfortable, convenient, and value-for-money—especially for those looking to stay in the heart of old Dubai. One of the biggest advantages of the hotel is its location. Situated in Deira, it offers easy access to key areas, with the metro just a short walk away. This makes traveling around Dubai very convenient, whether you are visiting for business or leisure. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and local attractions nearby. The staff at the hotel are generally friendly and helpful, which adds a positive touch to the overall stay. Many guests appreciate their polite behavior and willingness to assist whenever needed. Rooms are comfortable and reasonably clean, offering a cozy environment for short stays. Housekeeping is consistent, and the overall comfort level is good for the price range. However, it is important to note that some rooms may feel slightly dated, and certain maintenance issues—like carpets, equipment, or fittings—have been mentioned by guests. When it comes to facilities, the hotel provides the essentials including Wi-Fi, a gym, and a swimming pool. The overall experience is decent, though not luxurious. This property is more aligned with a mid-range or budget-friendly stay rather than a high-end hotel experience. Food, particularly breakfast, receives mixed feedback. Some guests find it enjoyable with good variety, while others feel it could be improved and does not always meet expectations. There are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. Some guests have reported issues like noise, older interiors, or minor maintenance concerns such as slow Wi-Fi or room equipment not functioning perfectly. These are not deal-breakers but are noticeable depending on expectations. Final Thoughts Overall, the hotel is a good choice if you are looking for a budget-friendly and centrally located stay in Deira. It offers comfort, accessibility, and friendly service. However, if you are expecting a luxurious or modern five-star experience, this may not fully meet those expectations. It works best for short stays, business trips, or travelers who prioritize location and value over luxury.
